The best restaurants in Dublin

26/07/2024: A very nice place, well taken care of and a very nice service. Breakfast was outstanding. We’ve had the big Irish and the avocado toast. Both served perfectly cooked and both were very tasty!

06/11/2024: Had a nice meal with my sister, I had slow cooked pork, while tender and well presented, something was lacking, my sisters had the best burger ever and prawn and pasta was was also lovely, service excellent, lovely staff. I had a banoffee pie for dessert, lovely presentation, unfortunately too much caramel, banana finly chopped you could just about taste it. Would be lovely if the balance was right. Saying that will definitely go back

22/10/2024: Our favourite meal out, while staying in Dalkey. We dropped by without a reservation and we were quickly shown to a table in the window. Despite it being a Monday evening in October, it was great to see the restaurant busy and buzzing with atmosphere. Both food and service were excellent. I was particularly pleased with the separate vegetarian/vegan menu; normally I find I'm limited to one 'choice' and here I had several. A great dining experience all round.

26/10/2024: Went here for dinner on a Saturday night, the food was good, the deserts were amazing, would highly recommend the Tiramisu and the chocolate mousse ! The portion size are good.

19/11/2024: Popped in for coffee and scone this morning. Scone was one of the nicest l ever had. Cappuccino was also lovely. Will be back.

30/10/2024: Lovely spot for a date night. We went here for my husband's birthday and it was perfect. Really nice food (I'd highly recommend the lamb shank.) Friendly and welcoming staff, who gave good wine recommendations. A generally relaxed, upscale, atmosphere for a special evening meal.

30/10/2024: Our party ordered to-go from this place one night and the one girl working there was so friendly, and the food was really great. However, our group decided to return to dine in-house and the service was awful. Three women were working and although the food was delicious, the service was not great. They had an attitude, acted like they didn’t want to be there or respond to us, and it was not an enjoyable experience. We got in and ordered our food and for every interaction we had, their tone and attitude was quite rude. It’s disappointing because that one day we came in for takeout, the girl working was very kind (even offered our group water), yet when we came in for dine-in, the others were not friendly at all. If service is a hit or miss, I just don’t think it’s worth it.

29/09/2024: I booked a date night for my parents and added a comment to make the night special for my mother's birthday. When she came home, she was DELIGHTED. I was so happy seeing her so happy with the dessert ice cream and candle that they brought for her and the chef's recipe book !!
