22/10/2024: I had Lunch in Mad egg, the food was really and good and Ricardo was really kind. He spent time explaining to me the menu ( my english isn't great ) so he was really helpful. I'll come back for sure! The goat bird is really recommended.

07/11/2024: Small intimate rooms plus a charming team of French ladies providing service and add to this beautifully prepared food and you have a superb dining experience. My wife and I went here for lunch. We each had just a main course but both were faultless: she roast chicken (how do the French do this SO well?) and I a lovely portion of bream fish. From their excellent wine list we chose just to have a glass of one of their house Chardonnays and it too was great. At 95 euros it wasn't inexpensive, but you do get what you pay for and we felt that all things considered it was fair value. And the best measure of a good experience: we would go back in a heartbeat!

The toilets were clean and the wee cafe was a gem.The souvenir shop had some beautiful things but disappointed that they didn't have a lot of souvenirs - actually expected it to be bigger but I had a fantastic time and certainly worth a visit. 13/09/2024: Tutto buonissimo e con un prezzo ottimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima, dopo una settimana di McDonald's, qui a Dublino, Sfuso è il miglior ristorante che si possa desiderare, soprattutto da due italiane! Abbiamo mangiato degli spaghetti con funghi e guanciale e di secondo una cotoletta con patate e spinaci... Che dire, le nostre papille gustative sono rinate 😍

05/09/2024: Did a walking tour of Dublin today. A server at the Temple Bar suggested this place for a great Italian style lunch. The food was awesome. I had a half order of the Lasagna Bolognese and a half order of the Gnocchi dish. The service was great. Nice, comfortable atmosphere. My server Chiarra was excellent. She suggested the two half orders and a great glass of red wine.

27/10/2024: Wow! Wow! Wow! Not sure how this hadn't been on my radar before. Chefs kiss perfection from start to finish. I don't even know where to start because everything was 100 pct on point. Start with sparking wine and the pick a bottle from their amazing very good value wine list and finish with cocktails or specialty cocktails. The appetizers and mains were absolutely perfect... Incl the salad with is often and afterthought in Dublin. Do order 1 chips for every 2 ppl and the saute veg was crisp and delicious. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back. My new Dublin fav. Place

06/11/2024: I booked a group into Hugo's in spring 2020 for lunch . Unfortunately due to the onset of Covid19 I had to cancel the booking. When I rang Hugo's to make the cancellation I spoke to the owner Gina. Gina was watching her world collapse with the Covid19 restrictions kicking in, yet she was so understanding and gracious when I cancelled the booking. I made a promise to Gina and myself that we would rebook in better times. It took four years, but I am so glad that we did return. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was fantastic, the staff were so caring, and most of all, the welcome was genuine. I would highly recommend Hugo's . It's location on Merrion Row is an added bonus ,convenient for so many attractions.

02/11/2024: I honestly cannot recommend Hugo’s enough or in the correct words. We had our family meal after getting married in the registry office and to say it was perfect from the first email to finishing our meal is an understatement. Booking and organising was so smooth and the attention to detail during this time was incredible. When we arrived, we were brought downstairs to our own area which was beautifully decorated, we even had personalised menus with our names and wedding date on them. They were so accommodating to any food allergies and the kids too. The food was absolutely gorgeous and presented so beautifully. Absolute huge shout out needs to go to Greg who was so attentive from beginning to end, caring towards each family member and kids and even made sure my baby niece didn’t go home without her bib (he physically ran down the road to ensure it got home safely!!). Gina, the owner, came to meet us and again was so welcoming. To Gina, Greg and all at Hugo’s, we truly can’t thank you enough for making our special day THE best. We can’t wait to go back and experience this all over again! We’ve already decided to celebrate each anniversary with you, and we can’t wait.

30/10/2024: We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and the food was lovely. Were also very accommodating of a late minute reservation which was really appreciated. Some of the best food I’ve had in Ireland. Thanks for the great service.

23/06/2024: We stumbled on this great cafe while waiting for our tour of the Guinness storehouse to commence. Great brunch food and really nice coffee. Welcoming staff. Definitely give it try!

20/11/2024: Utterly stunning Sunday roast at the old spot, and we could definitely see why it is Michelin recommended. What makes the food even better is the quality of service/ staff. Very knowledgeable and attentive to dietary requirements. Without doubt the best meal we had in Dublin.

17/11/2024: The old spot hits the spot. lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Had a roast lunch with all the trimmings it was faultless.Excellent bloody mary's ..who needs more!! We will be back to make our way through the menu . Loved it.

25/10/2024: Fantastic local Italian restaurant in drumcondra. Genuine authentic Italian food with fantastic pizzas but great menu all round. Have been there twice, once with my partner where we enjoyed a cheese board and their amazing pinsa pizza to share and more recently returned with family of 6 and it was just as good! Outside area has proper heating If you are thinking of that, decent value for money all round and we got great service both times. Highly recommended.
