The best restaurants in Dublin

10/07/2025: You have to ask the waiter yourself about the queue and waiting time. Some of the waiters are very friendly, while some seem to have a hard life. The food looks ordinary but is very delicious. The Irish stew is amazing. I saw the fish and chips ordered by the next table. The portion is very large and I heard it is delicious too.

10/07/2025: Great choice of drinks with own brewed beers. Guinness beef stew had such an amazing taste and the seafood chowder was equally good. The live music added to the atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Right on the edge of Temple so not too busy. Will be back here.

21/07/2025: 10/10 - recommend. Don’t think I’ve ever had ice cream like this! Was so fresh, light yet creamy. I read this company only uses a handful of natural ingredients. I had the chocolate whiskey - unbelievable.

19/07/2025: We had our intimate civil wedding at the school house. I honestly cannot rate it highly enough. Everything was absolutely perfect. The events director Laura made everything effortless from our first contact she responded quickly, allowed us make edits to our set menu, and organized our hotel rooms for guest with different needs. Everything was so well organized and communicated to us so we could relax on the day. On the actual day, the food and staff were amazing! Everyone especially the bartenders were fantastic taking care of orders and checking in regularly for refills and cleaning off tables. And while the actual wedding was perfect, the rooms themselves were wonderful and cozy for us and all of our guests. So comfy and spacious for getting ready. I would highly recommend the School House to anyone looking to celebrate their special occasion.

19/07/2025: A superb culinary experience. The chef is a genius. All the dishes were refined and a sublime blend of flavors. Our server, Victor, was adorable! I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money.

18/07/2025: Everything was just fantastic from the very beginning: we were recommended this restaurant as one of the best in Dublin, we were lucky to get a table in 1.5 hours, and not in a week and a half, the hospitality in this restaurant is so captivating that you have not eaten anything yet, and you already like everything. 06/07/2025: Excellent dinner here recently. The focaccia starter was delicious, as was the beef and Guinness pie (pictured). Quiet and upscale vibes with elevated pub food and wonderful service.

30/06/2025: I hate to write this review but feel it was warranted based on our recent experience. We have been wanting to go legal eagle Sunday roast for a while based on different reviews. Finally we were in the area and stopped by. Overall it was a bad experience. The roast was €27 for beef which is a lot higher than most roasts in the area. Which I’d be fine paying if the roast was amazing but that wasn’t the case. The meat was extremely thin slices of beef and cooked to the point I could event cut the beef. Our table didn’t recent even a steak knife so it was very difficult to eat. Also, we didn’t receive any side gravy and there was barely on the plate. Also it was mainly big roasted potatoes that were fairly dry with a little bit of mash and stuffing. I really was hoping this would be a new Sunday roast spot but this was just a bad experience.

21/06/2025: Yes it’s true. The best Guinness in Dublin and it’s €5 a pint. And the people are lovely - the bar staff and the locals. And it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Guinness Stores. And the toasties are top notch.

24/06/2025: I have been to Urban Health a number of times and have never been disappointed. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is very relaxing to spend time in and the menu has a wide range of dishes to enjoy and come back to. It is definitely worth a visit (or many)!

03/07/2025: The best breakfast in Dublin! Even on a weekday the restaurant is crowded and due to the popularity and small floor plan, you may have a wait before you are seated. Service was good but not exceptional. The food is amazingly flavorful and high quality. I would gladly return many times!

16/06/2025: I couldn't take any picture because me and my date love to eat so we ate right away. But here's the thing, it's a tiny place and very welcoming. I really liked!! My choice was salmon teriyaki 🤤🤤 and cheesecake (wich was nice but not mind-blowing). I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Asian food as it was very good and your order will be delivered in few minutes. Me encantó!
