03/04/2024: Found this cafe by coincidence as I am an inpatient of St.James hospital and wanted to get out for a walk. From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. The food was amazing (I had the piggy panini and pistachio crumble), a requested change was no problem and the staff was just very nice and accommodating. It felt to me like a very authentic little Italian place in the heart of Dublin. I’ll be definitely back (might even go today again ;-)) and would highly recommend to check this place out if you are around.

08/04/2024: A very nice and cozy italian restaurant in the neighbourhood of Portobello. I’ve been there with my husband to have a special dinner and the atmosphere helped us to have a more special night. The service was great, our waiter was very good presenting and explaining us the food and wines, great options by the way. The star of the night was the Parma with burrata, which was a special dish of the day. It was amazing! Burrata very creamy and tasty. We ordered a Black spaghetti with prawn and lime sauce (also special of the day) and one Beef Cannelloni, for both we have no words, it was delicious! For dessert we have a Cannolo al pistacchio which we strongly recommend. We’ll probably be back! Well done guys!

03/04/2024: A Cead Mile Failte in a French Restaurant. The only thing that surpasses incredible food is the friendliness. The team at Hugis are proud of their work and it shows. Skipped to a main of halibut (pictured) with chili brocolli. Quality five star fresh food. Leave room for cheese plate and fine wine. Fantastic team Sorcha, Sarah, Dimi as a front of house team you do your colleagues proud. Tip on Sunny Days get a window table...

02/04/2024: We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in Hugos last Saturday night, it was an amazing night in every way. The staff were brilliant, friendly and efficient and truly made the whole experience so special for us all. Justin, the manager was so helpful and friendly to deal with in organising this event. We had a group of 12 of us, the food and service was outstanding, everyone enjoyed it and are still talking about how delicious the food was. We had the entire downstairs to ourselves, it was truly special, a beautiful night to remember, huge thanks to the incredible wonderful staff there who made this night so special for such a milestone birthday. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. 10/10

30/03/2024: Eaten here twice now. Menu is relatively non fuss with some interesting unusual dishes sprinkled throughtout. Everything is executed well. Their pancakes are the best I've had. Pricing is fair and competitive. This place deserves to succeed and become a local favourite. Highly recommended.

02/04/2024: Hard to sum up just how brilliant the team at Medley are. We recently had our wedding in this amazing space and Andrew, Chris, Brian and the whole team were just superb from start to finish. The food, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond were just some of the highlights. Our guests loved the venue, the vibe and the food - couldn’t have asked for more! We would highly recommend Medley for any event.

15/03/2024: Going to any Michelin restaurant is an experience It's a peak behind the curtain to the magic, madness, and circus that it takes to achieve this goal. No madness here just a well oiled machine powered by great employees. If you plan on coming to Dublin plan on booking a dinner here you won't regret it and you'll always remember it.

10/03/2024: A restaurant located in the same building as the Merrion Hotel. Personalized welcome with the possibility of having a first drink in the entrance lounge then we head towards the beautiful main room. We benefited from a table for two with a bench at the back of the room which allows a little more confidentiality than the tables in the center of the room. The service is pleasant and could be a little more discreet, we appreciated the meeting with the manager as well as the chef who was present this Saturday evening. We chose the 8-course tasting menu accompanied by an excellent bottle of champagne. The dishes were very good and worthy of this 2 star rating. In comparison with other restaurants of equivalent level, I expected the presence of small dishes in transition between dishes (trou normand and others) whose absence left me a little hungry both in terms of tasting than quantity. My wife found the set perfect both in terms of taste and quantity. We could also have expected some “luxury” lobster-type products but the quality of the preparations/flavors compensated well. A beautiful setting and a good time that we will repeat.

23/03/2024: Consistently excellent food and service! We know our Indian cuisine and this place never lets us down. Lovely decor inside and comfortable surroundings, staff are always attentive but not over the top. Nice varied menu and reasonable wine list. Love the fennel chicken starter, have had this on every visit and it’s getting better and better! We tried the Paneer and Jalfreezi for mains, both really excellent and reasonable portion sizes. Turmeric rice was included and was cooked to a lovely consistency, loved the serving dishes. Bombay potatoes really good, we didn’t like the Smokey flavor, that’s just our personal taste though! Toilets immaculate, will be back again!!

19/03/2024: Incredible food with great service. We ordered the Chaat to start which was sensational! Our mains were all super tasty with a good vegetarian option. I'll certainly be back, and it would be ideal for group settings.
