30/11/2025: Waiter was Balazs, we were a walk in. He was very charming and the food was delicious. I had ribeye and my wife has the salmon. My beautiful woman has never finished a full plate of food without leaving some or complaining about it - praise indeed for the kitchen team🙏👌💪

17/12/2025: A lovely business lunch, except dairy milk alternatives for coffee/tea are needed in this day and age. Oat milk would be a sustainable alternative.

01/12/2025: Not a completely positive experience, due to the fact that it was very cold inside and eating lunch in a jacket isn't very comfortable. The service was quick and the food was good; the style of the place wasn't very "typical" because it was rather bare (of all the pubs I've been to in Dublin, it's the least typical).

11/10/2025: The restaurant was empty, late afternoon and we were given a table at the front of the restaurant by a window, only to be told that someone coming in later wanted that table and would we mind moving. No problem, but we were then seated outside the toilet and tbh we were both hungry and just wanted a nice simple light dinner. My partner order risotto and I order their hamburger and fries. Neither of us could finish our food. The risotto was as bland as you can imagine, and I assume it was precooked as it was served up in a matter of ten or 15 minutes. Some dried onion sprinkled on top. It was the worst risotto we have ever tasted. My burger was dry, tasteless and definitely not fresh off the grill, and the frozen fries were also bland and unappetising. The bruschetta was laughable- slices of toast with some halved cherry tomatoes on top with a splash of oil. Service was so-so, but honestly they’d need to try much harder and get back to basics of good simple food to win my vote. As for Italian, there was little evidence of that.

21/12/2025: Excellent food, lovely staff and generous portions. The prawn risotto was a highlight. Perfect restaurant for an occasion.
