The best restaurants in Dublin

19/05/2025: A proper Irish Pub. We went on trips before, and this time were able to share this marvelous old tavern with friends. We needed a pint on our walking day and my innate senses of direction knew we were on our way to The Stag's Head. The service was great, the drinks were cold and quick, and the decor, theme, and ambience is exactly what we needed.

16/05/2025: Great pub with really tasty food (I had the stew which was delightful), good drinks selection, awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s my first and last stop on every trip to Dublin!

15/05/2025: Very nice place. This is our second time here, and with such a good and varied offer, we will have to come again to try the entire menu. For seafood lovers, this is a little paradise. Fresh and very tasty. The service is top-notch, and the staff radiates positive energy. Infectious and therefore so pleasant. We recommend trying other appetizers in a row with each visit, because it is worth it. The main courses are the highlight, and don't forget the desserts. We love them fresh and light. We will go back at the first opportunity.

03/05/2025: Was so wonderful to have great coffee and pastries while waiting for our car to get sorted at the NCT. Lads were so nice and the coffee was class.

31/05/2025: The taste is acceptable and on average. You can have a try if you want to eat Vietnamese food in Dublin We arrived at 11:55am and still 5 mins before it opened. We looked at the menu outside and then a waitress switched the closed to open. This we went in and sat down. We felt a bit hot because the store just opened. Another waitress came in at noon. When she helped us to order food, she said she would open window. Then she said the store normally opened at noon. They saw us outside so they opened a bit earlier for me. I have not complained anything at all and just need some fresh air. Also we didn't ask them to open five minutes earlier for us. I have no clues why she was unhappy and thought we seem to cause issues here.

13/05/2025: Five star meal with a five star service! Enjoyed an evening with some great colleagues and was fortunate to get a booking in this amazing restaurant. Food was great - from starters through till dessert. The day ended with a card payment issue though as their machines were playing up. Came back an hour later to settle the bill. Comes recommended.

15/05/2025: Everything was excellent—the food, the spacious , the reasonable prices, and the convenient location. The dishes were flavorful, and even the small plate I ordered was surprisingly generous, offering more than enough for a satisfying lunch. While my experience was largely positive, I would have given a five-star rating if the atmosphere and overall vibe had been more lively.

21/03/2025: I was there today for the Cheltenham festival. Was getting work done on my car nearby so dropped in for 3 hours,bar staff very attentive free draw and free food . absolutely great bar to visit,Will definitely be back

08/05/2025: Excellent restaurant : tout est fameux : les plats dont évidemment le fish and ship ( un des meilleurs que l'on ait dégusté, véritables frites), les desserts "faits maison" , bonne bière, ..... Les serveurs sont tous pros et très très sympas ! Salle agréable+ petite terrasse protégée du vent Tarifs corrects Un incontournable proche de Temple bar ( 10mn à pied)

21/05/2025: Not far from the city center, on a small street without much in the way of attractions. Very good food and refined recipes. Reservations are required (well) in advance. On the other hand, it's quite expensive.

24/04/2025: In an area full of good shops for food, Mellon's is the best by far - absolutely spectacular lunch sandwiches (with unique options every day), pastries, the best bread in Dublin that can't be gotten anywhere else, and great coffee - all with the friendliest owners and staff.

17/04/2025: Mellon's is full of the sweetest and friendliest people, they made a tourist feel right at home. It was early in the morning yet they still went above and beyond hospitality, giving me suggestions and telling me the history of the neighborhood. Not to mention I had the most delicious Irish breakfast sandwich that I enjoyed on picnic table out front. I'm so glad I stopped by!
