10/12/2025: Small and expensive portions. Fries tasted like fish. Desserts nothing special. Service charge charged without warning. Unfriendly older waitress. I do not recommend.

04/12/2025: The food is nice. But that’s all. The atmosphere is weird, stuff is watching you, standing beside you but is not taking dirty plates when the table is full. The bathroom is awful but because nobody’s cleaning it. I wanted to use the bathroom to change baby but I couldn’t even enter as it looked dirty, wet, disgusting. Yes the price is cheaper compared with another famous buffet but you’ll feel like you paid less so you deserve just that.

02/12/2025: Wow this is a little hidden gem :) It is in a little random place but once you find it, it is a cozy and warm place to be! Great for kids and the food... is one of the best bang for buck deals in Dublin!!

27/11/2025: This place is gorgeous. The food is carefully sourced, well made and fairly priced, but above all delicious. Sitting by the window with a coffee in an enamel cup is a singular joy. I have noticed it is really family friendly also. The owners have created something really special here.

14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.

20/10/2025: This place has a very cute vibe! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. When I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to drink, the bartender personally came over and asked some questions to help recommend an amazing drink!

18/09/2025: Love, love, love these stores, both on a personal level and also from working with them via our brand Scribble & Stone. Vanessa and Marcus have done amazing work bringing the most gorgeous curated collections to Dublin across homewares, childrens and lifestyle gifting. Go and visit the 3 Dublin stores and the rest of the Drury street area for a real taste of Dublin and an all around lovely experience. Indie retail is becoming scarcer and scarcer in Ireland and globally so we really need to support these gems that make a visit to a city special and that in turn support other indie, local brands too.

12/12/2025: I was really disappointed with my last experience, after a quick meal that left much to be desired in quality and taste of food, I was rudely handed the bill and asked to leave to free up my table even though the place was mostly empty and I had barely finished my meal. The service lacks in manners and the food has declined over time.

18/10/2025: Google said that the store operates untill 10 pm on Friday. I arrived at 8.55 pm and was told that the store close at 9 pm. Tried to ask Google tò change the time to avoid Other people do the same mistakes but Google rejected My change. Nothing against the store but please change your opening hours on Google.

29/11/2025: This restaurant boasts a prime, strategic location right on the water canal, providing beautiful sunset views and a cozy atmosphere ideal for a post-work drink or dinner. It is divided into two distinct areas: a bar segment and a dedicated dining segment. The menu offers a wide selection of food, which is generally acceptable but on the pricey side. Be aware that the holiday season brings intense crowds and high noise levels. While the menu has been inconsistent over the years, the good news is that the food quality appears to have improved based on my latest visit.

11/12/2025: Excellent food in a reasonable price scale although size wise portions could be bigger 😅 Service was excellent with really friendly hostess and manager checking on the table to make sure we are happy. Food was ready quick. Atmosphere wise - quiet so conversation was not a problem, delicate lighting, comfortable and elegant. I can highly recommend The Purty Kitchen to anyone looking for good food and place to spend time with family and friends.

08/12/2025: Had a power cut while we were there and while we had a great night they could have done a better job of serving drinks - I believe to problem was down to not being able to ring up the sale on the til, that could have been sorted afterwards!
