17/05/2026: This is a restaurant I was introduced to by a local acquaintance during my first visit to Dublin in 2019, and it left a very strong impression on me. I wanted to go again on this trip, so I revisited it. I visited on my second day in Dublin. I was a little tired after sightseeing at Newgrange and suffering from jet lag, so I didn't have much of an appetite, but I enjoyed a light meal with wine. I ordered the soup from "The Old Dubliner," Salmon Gravlax, and "Jammets" Mixed Grill. All the dishes were carefully prepared and delicious. I was particularly satisfied with the salmon and the grilled dishes. However, perhaps due to my physical condition or expectations, this visit didn't quite reach the same level of "Wow!" as my first visit in 2019. Nevertheless, it remains a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxing meal in Dublin. I was happy to revisit this memorable place.

26/04/2026: A sensational meal, that will stay with me for a long time. Service from Ailish and Johnny was exceptional. This is an elevated food experience that surpassed all expectations. It is clear that the team and chef Damian are operating at an elite level but it never felt forced. A must visit if you like food served with joy and wit.

03/05/2026: I went in here Saturday morning just gone with my partner and our two boys. Honestly we came in initially because the River Cafe was busy and we were waiting over 10 minutes and gave up on getting seated. We came here with no expectations. From the moment we walked in the staff were warm and welcoming. We were seated and drink orders were taken straight away. A member of staff chatted with my two kids and she was absolutely so warm and pleasant. One of my sons has ASD and she was so patient and friendly, and it was lovely to see someone interacting with the kids to take their order. Orders were soon taken, we got two full Irish breakfasts and two kids breakfasts. Food was fantastic, particularly the suasuages and bread. The big standout for me and my family were the staff. The three members of staff I met, including the two women at the front and the young man looking after customers on the floor, were all lovely and patient. At no point were we rushed, orders came out soon after making them and staff were more then happy to assist when needed, and when my boy dropped his sausage on the ground, this was replaced free of charge. I will definitely be favouring this place over the River Cafe and welldone to the amazing staff there. You made us feel very welcome!

26/10/2025: The smoke was unbearable. They really need to fix the kitchen. Also,it's important to be flexible with the menu and accept changes to some plates especially when there are few option that are not classic.

25/10/2025: It is a very cosy place. The service was very good. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Her tattoos were great! 😀 The food was very tasty. It is worth to try a coffee with Baileys!

11/10/2025: Friendly service, good coffee, and a great atmosphere. You can choose from a variety of coffee beans, which makes it very interesting to have more than just an espresso. It's a great place for a quick stop.

25/05/2026: Im just of every takeaway going wrong these days. Ordered Katsu curry - came with no curry sauce. How does that happen. Anyway foods ok prices are high delivery took 1hr and 15m and it was missing a key component. Frustrating.

18/05/2026: ​Highly recommended! I tried the Spice Bag from Camile Thai Phibsborough and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right amount of kick. It’s a huge portion.

From the moment you open the box, you can smell the freshness real butter, high-quality pistachios, and perfectly baked layers. It’s not overly sweet or dry; the syrup balance is spot on, and every bite just melts in your mouth. It’s been a long time since I’ve had baklava of this quality in Ireland. You can truly taste the care, skill, and tradition in every single layer. I served it to guests and everyone loved it they all asked where it was from. Ella’s Heaven is not just about desserts; it’s about consistency, cleanliness, and top-level quality. I can confidently say this is the best baklava in Ireland. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates real, authentic taste.

06/01/2026: WARNING! This place was served a closure order for having cockroach’s next to food in the kitchen. A mix of live & dead cockroach’s along with cockroach’s at all life stages. Google keeps taking this review down which is shocking considering the state of the kitchen in this cafe
