First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin. Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it. Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off

11/09/2025: Cocktails were great, but the staff was rude and non-accommodating making this not a spot worth visiting. We walked in as a group of 2 and were immediately sat at the bar (great!). We had a friend coming to meet us as there was an empty barstool beside us, we checked with the bartender and he said no problem (again bartender was great). Within a couple of minutes of our friend sitting down the manager (possibly just some rude employee) told us we could not use the third barstool as it’s reserved for “walk ins”. It is a terrible experience when you are told you can do something by one employee and then have another come and tell you can’t do the exact same thing in a totally rude and unfriendly manner. There were two more similarly contradictory situations between employees and us that came of as rude and unwelcoming. I would not waste your time or money here unless you are in the mood for unkind hospitality.

09/09/2025: We had an amazing time at The Blind Pig. It is truly a speakeasy. The atmosphere and the vibe created is exceptional. The cocktails stood out, every ingredient/note was felt in every sip. Right ingredients used to make every cocktail made. There was also a live singer and at first the song was played so well we thought it's recorded but she was singing live. That was a great experience as well. Food was good too but the cocktails and the atmosphere of the place stood out more for me.

30/07/2025: This place does the freshest, cleanest, most excellent double espresso in Dublin (depending on who's behind the counter). The food is also incredible. I would recommend the post workout pancakes with added dark chocolate if you want something sweet. If you want something healthier, then I'd go for the avocado toast and I'd order some grilled chicken on the side. The service is second to none. The waiters and waitresses are quite friendly, and don't mind introducing themselves. Corinne amd Pedro are especially lovely. One warning: weekends here are packed wall to wall. Plan to wait if you want a seat.

17/08/2025: I had a really good experience at Brass Onion. The burger itself was an honest, well-cooked meat burger – simple but tasty. Personally, I would have preferred if it came with a sauce by default, though the staff kindly offered me some once it arrived at the table. The service was excellent. Even though I didn’t have a booking, the team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable while waiting, and their friendliness really stood out – there were smiles everywhere. Overall, a great spot with welcoming service and a solid burger.

Teníamos una mezcla de cerdo gyoza, los camarones migados, sushi arco iris y teppanyaki de pato crujiente para compartir y toda la comida era absolutamente delicioso.
