14/11/2024: I was a regular customer at Jaykay's for a year straight back when I was living in Dublin, and I would always look forward to my weekly Saturday lunch there. The people working there are some of the nicest I've ever met, always looking out for their customers and doing their utter best to satisfy their demands (sorry again for the many times my coffee order probably gave the person waiting on me a headache.....) The food has always been of the highest standard and, as a French native, if you're looking for a good croissant around town, this is it! (Even better if you're lucky enough to get a warm one fresh out of the oven 😍) The fact that you can also get an amazing freshly pressed juice from the juice bar right in the heart of the city (their second location being in George's St. Arcade) makes it perfect for a quick juice-fix too. I really can't thank Jason, his family and lovely staff, as well as the fantastic Wojtek enough for putting up with me and my ever-lasting coffee breaks. All the best guys! x

11/11/2024: Visited today for breakfast with two of my children, a picky 15 year old and 2 year old. We had a really lovely time, food was delicious and even my teenager devoured her omelette. Juices were fresh and tasty. Would recommend to a friend 👌

07/10/2024: We had our destination wedding at the Cliff at Lyons, and we cannot emphasize enough how perfect everything was for our special day. The venue coordinator Aaron Clarke was instrumental in making sure that everything went smoothly, and his clear communication guaranteed that we were able to plan our wedding efficiently. He even offered to meet with us monthly to make sure that we felt that everything was being communicated. When we arrived for our dinner tasting, we couldn't believe how delicious the food was. My partner has several severe allergies, and the staff were able to accommodate the menu for not only her allergies, but also several that our guests brought to their attention. The staff at the Cliff of Lyons showed us that they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we had a positive experience. The grounds themselves are absolutely breathtaking. All of our guests were enchanted with the grounds, and several returned on their own visits later that week. We'll definitely be booking a stay for our future anniversary at the Cliff at Lyons! Special shout-out to Aaron, Tom, and the entire serving staff for making everything truly magical! We can't recommend the Cliff at Lyons enough!

17/11/2024: Some excellent times spent in this restaurant. Friendly and attentive welcome and service. Very good quality cuisine with good products. The antipasti cold cuts are excellent but the other dishes and pizzas are not to be outdone. A little noisy atmosphere but that's simply because the customers are. The restaurant can’t help it… The Montepulciano is excellent! We dined there 3 times during our stay in Dublin and tried and enjoyed much of the cuisine. Congratulations to the chef, everything was excellent. Special mention to the saltimbocca and chicken supremes, whether with creamy mushroom or vegetable sauce, delicious! Thanks to Ismael for his welcome and to the whole team for their professionalism. See you soon

14/11/2024: During the Summer, we had a wonderful experience in my favourite French style Bistro, Chez Max. We were impressed with everything from start to finish. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff and service was prompt and efficient. The dining area is both cosy and inviting and the food is superb. I thoroughly enjoyed French onion soup, Rib Eye steak and Creme Brulee but there is a dish for every taste. Attention is paid to even the smallest of details and we left both satisfied and content. We will most definitely return again very soon.

11/11/2024: It used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in Dublin but I'm sorry to say the quality has been dropping in the last few visits until reaching a point when I cannot even call it decent.

29/10/2024: I like this restaurant but they don’t have pizza anymore and they change the menu very often. I used to like few dishes before but they don’t have them anymore. The food has a good quality but an Italian place without pizza makes me choose other options.

02/11/2024: We got married in The Mayson in Nov 2023 and went back for our anniversary in 2024 and were treated like royalty by all the staff but Jev in particular who served us in Ryleigh's was incredibly professional while also being warm and welcoming. And that's before we even mention the food. Always great and the atmosphere always matches. Highly recommend Ryleigh's for food, (including breakfast!) alongside The Mayson hotel itself. 14/11/2024: I can only say that this was the most amazing experience of my life in terms of fine dining. The food was nothing short of spectacular, every single dish felt like a piece of heaven. The staff were so genuine and friendly. Their table manner was fantastic and you could tell they actually cared. My partner had a major food allergy and every single step of the way she was carefully catered to. The sommeliers really knew their stuff and had no problems really trying to understand what you wanted. My partner and I saved up to go on this evening for a good while. Yes it was expensive, it was worth every single penny and I can assure you we wouldn’t hesitate to spend that type of money again. We intend on coming back next season for a different menu. Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening.

11/11/2024: My best friend surprised me with an incredibly special lunch at Liath, a restaurant located in Blackrock, just outside Dublin, Ireland. Saying that the experience exceeded all expectations would be an understatement. Writing a review for a restaurant is one thing, but writing a review for Liath is another entirely. I’ve never felt as comfortable or as welcome in any place as I did here. Liath offers more than just a chance to share a meal. This isn’t simply about food this is about stepping into the chef’s world. The owner and chef, Damien, invites you to experience his passion, his dedication, and his deep respect for his craft through his dishes. He shares a part of himself in every plate, revealing his character and his spirit in a way that goes beyond traditional dining. It’s not just a meal; it’s a journey where you get to know him a little better with every bite. This was a memorable experience, not only because I was with people who mean the world to me, but also because I had the honor of understanding a little more about Damien through his cooking. Each course was a revelation, paired beautifully with wine that enhanced each flavor, and the attentive staff ensured we felt right at home. You truly feel like part of a warm, welcoming environment, sharing something extraordinary. While I’ll let others discover the individual dishes for themselves, I wanted to focus here on the feeling, on the kindness, and on the powerful sense of connection I experienced at Liath. Rather than simply describing the food, I felt it was important to highlight how deeply I was moved by the whole experience. Of course, Liath is a place I wholeheartedly recommend, and I look forward to returning, seeing these incredibly kind people again, and reliving the magic they create.
