Liath

Dublin
23/12/2025: Second time we’ve been here in less than a month. Getting a reservation isn’t easy but worth it. Every dish was amazing, with the chef himself coming over to explain the reason and components of every dish; it makes it such a great experience. Unlike any Michelin star restaurant I’ve been to, the personal experience makes it unique. Looking forward to going again!
26/11/2025: An absolute feast for the senses! Every dish was a delightful surprise, paired with attentive and friendly service from the team. Truly a dining experience that feels like a special occasion. Grateful to have been part of such a memorable evening!!

10/12/2025: Been trying to go here for a while but always left it too late to book so booked this for our Christmas lunch a while ago. We were on the Christmas set menu and it was very good. Food, service and atmosphere were all brilliant. Really enjoyed our meal start to finish.

Harry Byrnes

Dublin
14/12/2025: Unreal experience i didnt have food but the staff went above and beyond special metion to Faye who did exactly what i asked for whisky in a tumbler with 2 cubs of ice ...sounds simple but she is the only barmaid to complete that exactly in 20+ year if i could give 20 stars i would
09/10/2025: One of North Dublins best pubs. Beautiful interior and efficient staff who are welcoming and friendly. Good pint of Guinness and a Food Truck on site.

Camile

Dublin
14/12/2025: A quiet place to grab something good, cheap and quick when you are on a walk
10/12/2025: One positive is that the self-ordering machine clearly shows the calories, which is helpful. However, the rice was only warm and tasted a bit old even though there was an extra charge, and the dish didn’t have much protein. The staff also placed the food on the counter without making sure I heard the call, so if you sit at the back you might not realise your order is ready. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the service considering the price.

Irish Whiskey Museum

Dublin
16/12/2025: My visit to the Irish Whiskey Museum with my boyfriend was an innovative and creative experience that exceeded all my expectations. It's not just a tour about the drink; it's a fantastic immersion into the history of Irish whiskey and its cultural impact. What truly made the visit wonderful was our guide, Gary. He is an exceptional storyteller. With an incredible sense of humor, Gary explained the history of how it all began, from the origins to its current resurgence. His hilarious and engaging way of presenting the facts made the learning fun and highly memorable. My boyfriend and I loved every minute! If you are looking for a fun, entertaining, and genuinely interesting way to spend an hour or two in Dublin, look no further. Try to get Gary as your tour guide! I recommend it 100%!
15/12/2025: Really nice experience. Our tour guide ( Brian) explained everything very well. I booked the blending tour, and it was definitely worth it.🫶

Fable Bakery

Dublin
05/08/2025: I got the chocolate hazelnut bun and it was delicious. There isn't much space to sit in but well worth a visit.
30/07/2025: Fable Bakery in Dublin is a pleasant little spot, though not exactly a hidden gem. Their baked goods are decent—fresh and enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. The coffee was fine, not standout. The staff were kind and the setting cozy, though service could be a bit quicker. It’s worth dropping by if you're nearby, but maybe not worth a long detour. All in all, a good experience, just not one that’ll knock your socks off.

Guinness Open Gate Brewery

Dublin
12/12/2025: Great spot to meet up before a big night ahead, creamy pints & finger bites for shtarters 😋
10/12/2025: Is an amazing place if you’re into trying beers you can’t find anywhere else. What makes it special is definitely the experimental taps, limited editions and creative twists that change often. It’s the kind of place where you go for the experience, not just a pint. I loved being able to taste different styles side by side and see how Guinness plays with flavors, hops, and brewing techniques beyond the classic stout. Some were bold, some subtle, but all super interesting. It really feels like you’re getting a glimpse into the brewery’s “lab.” The space itself is welcoming, the staff know their stuff, and they’re great at explaining each beer and what makes it unique.

Pig's Ear

Dublin
17/12/2025: Fantastic meal at the pigs ear. All 3 courses were absolutely delicious plus the staff were super friendly and really knew the menu and history behind the menu well! We had a fab evening and are still talking about the Mulligatawny Pie 😆
13/12/2025: How to review this place..? We were at National Museum of Ireland and decided to visit. We checked the menu on line and agreed on it because of the variety and authentic Irish food but didn't make a reservation, we just walked in and we were ambushed by the "manager" asking us to check the menu because..(his words) "DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION"?? "THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR COFFEE AND SANDWICHES" But anyway we were sat at our table and when we asked if we can have a different one he said.. "NO...THIS IS YOUR TABLE"!!! We had mixed feelings about it. Starting with the food.. Drink order: Bottles of flat and bubbly water, Rioja Wine and 2 pints of Guinness We had the Famine Soup, The Salmon Gravlax and the Lobster Omelet as starters.. The soup was tasty but I hoped for a better portion of bone marrow, it was just a little dabble of it on a big piece of toast and couldn't appreciate the flavor...the lobster Omelet was magnificent, good chunks of lobster in a well prepare Omelet, the gravlax was what we expected, a good amount and smoked to perfection. For mains we had to Sole, the pork chop and the grill sample.."Jammets" The grilled meat sample was excellent with a superb black pudding and all the meats were tender and succulent, the pork chop was a big chunk of meat with a lot of fat and the side potatoes were very greasy and overcooked and the fish wasn't very good, tasted a little as if it was just defrosted...for dessert we had the cheese cake that come in a mason jar inside a paper bag, I guess is a deconstructed version, it was hard to eat due to the excessive crumbs and the awkwardness of the jar but the taste was good... Espresso was good as well as the mocha, but the regular drip coffee was weak... The service by ツィカル was great and we practiced our Japanese with her. To get to the bathroom you have to go all the way up to the fourth floor and it might be a little troublesome for older people.. In a place with few tables at the time we ended up with empty plates on our table while the manager and other persons were talking at the bar..our server was busy doing a birthday for a table... In resume we didn't like being judged at the door with the manager assuming that we don't have enough money for this kind of place... We might try other places next month.

YOI Ramen

Dublin
27/11/2025: We got takeaway there, it was delicious, and the service was very friendly. You can order online. Update: dining in is just as good! The place is pleasant, service is great, and the food is excellent. It's usually busy, make sure you book ahead. The whole menu is good, not just the sushi and ramen!
24/11/2025: Best ramen in town, very good sushi as well - chill place and super quick service

Baily Bites at Kish

Dublin
02/09/2025: Fish was very tender. Seating was limited
01/09/2025: Best fish and chips ever. Six of us had fish and chips and all agreed that it was the best we'd ever had. Huge amount, super fresh, crispy batter, not greasy - just excellent. And their tarter sauce is great too. And even the chai lattes were good! This place is special.

Bowe's

Dublin
20/08/2025: Best guinness in the city centre. Always a good buzz. Only food option is a toasted ham and cheese, which is lovely, they even give you a jar of mustard which polishes it off. But don't go here if you are looking for food options. Old style bar. Love it
18/08/2025: We stayed for a couple of drinks and the bartender was so friendly and helpful. The ambiance was also so cozy.
