03/10/2025: Came here for a little self care day and to be greeted by a lovely Indian man with beautiful manner curry was lovely chicken was so fresh and just eczactly how I like it see you next time

15/03/2026: Food fabulous - as it has been consistently for the past 10 years. I always order the lamb shank which is so tender the meat falls off the bone. Understand that this is more of an upmarket Indian restaurant, with slightly smaller portions at a higher price, and a quieter ambience. We were offered a glass of prosecco for mother's day as we entered, which later appeared on our bill. Management apologised and immediately removed it - but this seemed cynical to me, which is the only reason I've deducted a star.

07/03/2026: We asked the staff to recomen something as it was our first time there, he was in a rush and was rude he didn’t intend to suggest anything he only wanted to take the order Food is very good high quality and high price Portions very very small They charge you the tip 10%

29/10/2025: I had such a great experience at Umai in Dundrum! The salmon poke bowl was super fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the service — the girl who helped me (kinata) was so kind and friendly. I asked for a special request and she handled it with such a lovely attitude. It really made my day! Highly recommend this place — amazing food and even better people 💚

24/10/2025: Finally! A sushi restaurant in Dublin that know what they’re doing! They also changed my order when I mistakenly ordered raw tuna. So helpful and friendly.

04/11/2025: One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I had the Bone Marrow Appetizer and the 10oz Ribeye medium and pepper sauce. Great Guinness too. Will be returning when I come to Dublin next.

22/12/2025: We went here twice and the food is really tasty and the service is very friendly. Homemade wraps are so tasty. Will definitely go again and would easily recommend.

15/11/2025: i don’t think i’ve ever paid so much for a cup of tea. €4.40 for a teabag is absolutely crazy. next time i won’t blindly order anything without checking the price beforehand! at least the tea was good 🫠 this review is not a reflection of the service or atmosphere, only a psa so customers are not shocked at the prices!

07/04/2026: I love this place. Omar and hazel are my favourite workers here, they make me feel so welcome. The food here is to die for and the authentic Portuguese atmosphere makes for a lively, comfortable experience. My favourite resteraunt.

08/03/2026: Sushi alright. Portion quality had changed. Most item have cheese cream. 🙄. It made more westernised than Japanese. A few item we tick did not reach the table strangely we still drop a tip for server. Hope they will revert to its original quality and portion size.
