02/11/2024: I recently visited Igueuleton to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, perfect for special occasions, and most of the staff seemed friendly at first. However, my experience with the food and service left much to be desired. I ordered the gnocchi, and unfortunately, it was inedible due to an overwhelming amount of salt. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but what was disappointing was the lack of follow-up. After serving our dishes, the waiter never returned to check if we were satisfied. As my friends finished eating, my untouched plate sat in front of me, clearly signaling a problem. When the waiter finally came to clear our plates, they didn’t ask about my full, uneaten dish or whether anything was wrong. Paying 27 euros for a dish I couldn’t eat felt frustrating, especially without the opportunity to address the issue. I’d suggest that the staff receive additional training on customer service, as it seemed they weren’t attentive to guests' dining experiences. A simple check-in would have allowed the restaurant a chance to make amends, but unfortunately, they missed the opportunity. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

15/11/2024: Encore un de ces pubs de classe. Vous avez d'une part les pubs où coulent la bière au son des musiques celtes et qui ont un charme indéniable. Et puis vous avez les pubs où tout respire une ambiance feutrée, douce avec une lumière tamisée où seul le bar semble une illusion illuminée. Décor top, personnel sympathique et efficace et une prestation culinaire de très bon niveau. C'est dans l'assiette que l'on a compris que cet établissement fait la part belle aux meilleures viandes (avec une armoire à maturation). Leur publicité tourne autour de la viande de qualité et la prestation est à la hauteur. Rarement mangé une viande aussi succulente avec une cuisson milimétrée. Un excellent moment terminé avec un Irish Coffe de grande classe dans sa présentation. Très belle étape culinaire que nous conseillons vivement si vous êtes à Christchurch ou au musée Dublinia.

28/10/2024: Cakes are very good, but unfortunately there was more icing than there was cake. I’d recommend if you’re not a big fan of icing that you request very minimal internal icing because there’s an overcompensation of it.

24/10/2024: Betsy's Bakeshop is a very good bakery. The prices are expensive, but it's worth paying extra for high quality ingredients. I ordered two cakes for two separate occasions. The first cake was a 10" chocolate fudge celebration cake for my own birthday. It cost €55. It was huge! Everybody enjoyed it and there was enough to give everyone some to bring home as well. The text written on the cake was slightly messy, which wasn't a big deal for me, but might be an issue for others. The second cake was a small Lotus Biscoff cheesecake that cost €25. It was also very nice, but was extremely sweet. Nice for an occasion!

10/11/2024: Beef cheeks on the menu was a stand out ! Great lil place for a date night. Good selection of wine. Service is fantastic.

04/06/2024: Great atmosphere and very nice service. It is a great little spot for pairs or friends gathering for a coffee and pastry. Pets are also welcome.

20/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo locale perché siamo stati incuriositi dall'ambiente e dalla vicina pescheria. Infatti i pesci cucinati provengono dal banco del pesce. Buon fish and Chips, ma la porzione singola è troppo grande per una sola persona, consiglio di ordinarne uno in due.

22/10/2024: Showed up at the black wolf tonight alone while I waited a few minutes for my partner to join, the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. We ordered nachos to start and two mains. Food came out hot and fresh and tasted great. The best part was our server James, he was so friendly and funny. He’s a credit to the pub!
