The best restaurants in Dublin

10/09/2026: Food is out of this world, I’ve been a repeat customer to very few restaurants but this one will always have a special place in my heart. Stephane, Charles, and Cedric especially have made every experience in this fantastic restaurant truly unforgettable. The service is the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant internationally. The food is unreal. I’ve had the pleasure of dining multiple times, and have had everything on the menu. While I would love to save this restaurant for special occasions, I find myself coming back again and again as the food and service is just the absolute best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t dare highlight any particular item off of the menu as they are all equally excellent, however I would put 100% trust in the sommelier Cedric for any accompanying wine choices for your food. I also have to mention Patrick himself for always coming to the table, introducing himself, and making sure my experience is up to his very high standards. It is a disgrace that Michelin has not yet awarded this place its very well deserved 3rd Michelin star. I can easily say that this is the best restaurant in Ireland, dare I say Europe. I am yet to have an experience that makes me return to a Michelin starred restaurant except for this place.

29/08/2026: I had super gastronomic experience in this place! We had menu «à la cart» and it was very delicious !the service is TOP ! For the dessert I highly recommend baba rum flambé ! Don’t miss this place when you are in Dublin ☘️ PS the wine list is impressive!

20/09/2026: Such a cozy place with a unique atmosphere. Coffee tastes good! And not that bad scones either 😉 Definitely worth visiting!

09/09/2026: An absolutely fantastic experience at House of Read! Hands down the best mocha I’ve had in Ireland. The cake was delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and welcoming. To make it even better, Taiga provided incredible service so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend🥳

20/09/2026: Lovely place to drink few Guinness. Cozy atmosphere offering live Irish music. Very nice staff. We had a great evening. We will come back for sure.

16/08/2026: The service was super slow which would be fine by us if we were not pressured by the staff to leave for the next booking. it took them 25 mins to serve 2 cocktails. we also waited 15-20 mins between courses pf small plates. Some dishes were nice some were average some were underseasoned. The music was also too loud at 18:30?? god knows why - we couldn’t hear each other so we had to shout. Also, the concept of small plates should be about sharing them, but serving one mini bao for €9 defeats the concept. Make it 12 and serve 2 at least. Overall It was an unpleasant experience.

16/08/2026: Anything I say about bigfan will fall short of the culinary geniuses that operate this kitchen. Very unique menu experience with a checklist, perfectly captured Asian flavours and a very kind staff. They are the umami kings of Dublin. The lighting could be better for sure a little too dark for my liking

01/09/2026: Three hours. Four courses. Four different staff to get the bill. Nearly 30 years of pedigree, a Michelin Guide listing, rave reviews everywhere. So we expected a lot. We didn't get it. Everything was aggressively salty, and I like salt. The broccolini that came with my dinner tasted like it was boiled in hot dog water and covered in ballpark cheese. And table after table left theirs barely touched. The filet was cooked properly but tough, a bad cut, which at €85+ a head is worse than a temperature problem. The desserts were the star of the meal; every one finished and enjoyed. But salting is Cooking 101, and a filet that tough starts with the butcher's knife. That's not one slipped dish. That's a kitchen slipping. Every member of staff was polite. But the service was better at McDonald's. Three hours for four courses means being forgotten between courses by people who are very nice about it. When I asked for the check, one server said "sure," then strolled past us clearing other tables. It took four different staff before anyone took our payment. An off night, maybe? Except the dining room full of untouched broccolini says otherwise.

04/10/2026: Lovely small Italian restaurant, everything feels very "home-mady" you can even see the staff making the pasta on the side before they cook it for you. The food is amazing, super tasty, the tiramisu probably the best I've had, ever. Will definitely go back!

04/10/2026: Front door purposely left open to allow a cold breeze through the restaurant so customers wouldn't linger too long. Customers did close the door only to be immediately reopened by management. Tables too close. together. Not comfortable dining. Portions very small and prices very high proportionately. Won't be back.

22/09/2026: It was good but a bit small and the price wasn’t cheap….

18/09/2026: The place is very nice, softly lit, not too noisy, perfect for conversation. The menu is simple, with four sandwiches to choose from and the option to add ingredients like cucumber, tomato, bacon (for an extra charge), and sauces. The staff is friendly, unobtrusive, but just the right amount. The cheeseburger is good, not too big, but just enough to fill you up. The meat is good, cooked to perfection, just how I asked for it. Excellent value, especially in a city like Dublin, where prices have risen significantly.

13/09/2026: A great place to grab a pint after a long walk around the city. It's right across from the River Liffey, and you can cross the street to enjoy your beer while looking directly at the water.

06/10/2026: I ordered the Mighty Bucket for One and even showed the staff a picture of the menu. It should include 2 Original Recipe pieces, 2 Tenders and 2 Hot Wings, but I only received 4 pieces.

16/09/2026: The chicken was dripping with oil. I couldn't taste anything other than pure fat. I've always liked KFC, but I couldn't even eat half of this one because it was inedible. If you're looking for something to eat in Jervis, stay away from this restaurant. Worst KFC I've ever had in my life.

05/10/2026: Exceptional food and impeccable service. Spectacular location. A bit pricey, but worth a visit.
