10/11/2024: The music was so loud, it was impossible to hold a conversation. We asked that the volume be turned down several times to no avail. The place was full of tourists but they are definitely not getting the genuine Irish pub as there was zero chat and therefore no craic. We eventually went upstairs to the restaurant to get some relief from the noise. It was still quite loud but at least we could have a conversation and the food was pretty good. I don't understand the need to play music at such a deafening pitch. It is a shame as this is a lovely place but we won't go back.

07/11/2024: Very Irish pub, not much tourism. Very good live music. And there is a very kind girl from Seville who has helped me a lot with the language. As for the food, it can't be anything because I only drank beer.

03/04/2024: Great addition to the Dublin craft beer scene. Great beer, surprisingly friendly staff and a lovely clientele. If you love a good beer, you definitely need to go to this place. I've been to every Fidelity Beer Festival (in a professional capacity and as a fan of beer in general) and this place is worthy of the name.

01/04/2024: Great modern spot in Smithfield with a hidden gem feel despite its popularity. Classy spot with great music and usual frequented by good dressers with a good vibe.

29/10/2024: Staff very very helpful we had a wheelchair user and the staff when out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

28/10/2024: Great staff, food was good and we were a family. Although the prices are moderate, the food was nice and they had vegetarian and meat options. Veggie burger was a little crispy.

21/10/2024: The mezzas and platters were delicious, but the halloumi wrap wasn’t as flavourful as hoped. The tea and Lebanese coffee hit the spot though. The service was both good and bad. It started very slowly, as we waited 15-20 mins to be greeted and served but this is most likely because the owner was by himself. That being said, he was really kind to our young child and offered him two lollipops, which went down well and really lifted the mood of the meal. All in all, we could see why this place was highly rated as the food was good, but improved staffing would help make the service better.

23/11/2024: We went for the share platter for 2 which had the spicy duck wings (fall off the bone tender and flavouful), ribeye steak grilled to perfection- rare and the lobster roll (it was nice but our least favourite on the platter). 2 Sides included truffle/parmesan fries and cashew coleslaw were perfect accompaniment. Dessert included was a build your own cheesecake, unique twist to add 3 choice of toppings. Overall delicious meal. Diego was our server and he was all smiles and very attentive and made sure we had everything and helped us through our selection. He had a very busy section and was constantly checking on everyone. No one was left unattended. Great service! The atmosphere was great but found it a bit chilly and as it got crowded the noise level got a bit too much so conversation was limited to those with big voices. Overall I would recommend it as a very good food and service and I would certainly go back again.

22/11/2024: Brilliant experience! From the moment we entered, to the moment we left, all the staff (especially Wevevton - apologies if that is spelt wrong) were fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was brilliant and we had a thoroughly lovely evening. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Dublin.

04/11/2024: food was good and they had good size portions as well and if you get the BBQ they cook it and cut it up for you so no need to worry about undercooked meat!

07/10/2024: Went to a christening all went well until we tried to get a drink in main bar after the kids had gone and we were told to leave because christening was over and we were not getting served so we went to the villager pub and had good night must be nice to be able to turn away paying customers after taking our money all afternoon

12/11/2024: Amanda is amazing. Love this fun spot in Ballsbridge! The food portions are huge. Be ready to have a take out meal or two after this stop.

04/11/2024: We have been there for traditional irish food. The Fish&Ships (Smoked Haddock) was the best I could find in Dublin. Irish Stew was not looking good, but my friends said it was taste. Nice Service.
