14/05/2025: The staff is fantastic! Especially our server Marc who was so personable and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. The food was fabulous in particular the massaman curry, thoroughly enjoyed and would reccommend to all.

03/06/2025: We had our wedding here last week and it couldn't have gone any better. It's such a good venue for a party, having both the bar & restaurant, as well as an outside area. The staff were incredible on the day, so attentive, on the ball and kind to everyone. The food & drinks were faultless. Have eaten here many occasions and the food is always always good. Lots of people commented on the food. We were able to create a menu with the chef but to be honest we used a lot of food already on the restaurant menu as it's so good. It's a great restaurant to eat before theatre, or on a sunny Thurs / Fri / Sat evening. Claire helped us to organise the day, had given us loads of her time in advance, lots of advice & tips. She is amazing at her job & we feel very lucky ! She was fantastic on the day too, so considerate to everyone. If anyone is considering a relaxed fun wedding I couldn't recommend more, loved every minute, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Have tried Coppinger & Row wines too both definitely worth a visit :)

06/05/2025: Eat at the counter and carry out with a variety of soups and sandwiches. Sandwich portions are huge. Staff kindly offered my husband a sample of one of the soups as he was dithering over options. Both our soup and sandwich were lovely. Pricing is fair. The one downside is that the loo is labeled as out of order and based on supplies piled up in front of it has been for a while.

08/05/2025: Beware of this absolute scam of a place - you cannot have a table unless each person orders a main course or two starters (each). We are regulars at the Grand Canal area and work here and found this policy absolutely appalling. Was trying to get a starter each to have with a drink and we were literally not allowed to order any of it, unless we ordered one meal each.

25/05/2025: The food was full of flavor, and the portions were generous — definitely come hungry! I had the Isaan Style grilled chicken (Gai Yang), which was perfectly cooked and packed with authentic Thai flavor. The menu offers a great variety, including healthy options like brown rice and even paleo-friendly dishes. The Rioja wine we ordered was excellent, and although I didn’t try one, the cocktails looked top-tier — beautifully presented and clearly popular. What really stood out was the staff: incredibly attentive, warm, and happy to go the extra mile. They even accommodated our off-menu request for an affogato (espresso with ice cream) without hesitation. The ambiance was lovely — relaxed yet lively. Highly recommend for a fun night out with quality food, drinks, and service.

26/04/2025: The Purty Kitchen offers a dining experience that consistently excels in quality and service. The dishes are made with high-quality ingredients that result in truly delicious dishes. The staff are so well trained and provide impeccable service, ensuring that you will feel well looked after from the moment you arrive. Additionally, the warm and cosy atmosphere enhances the overall experience. I have been here for both lunch and dinner and have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

14/05/2025: A real gem in suburbia, you have a choice of the Bar or Lounge and there is a great smoking if you choose .Staff are excellent nothing is a problem. If you want an authentic pub on the North side of Dublin this is the one. No food, great for mixing with other customers...

28/05/2025: Highly recommend this restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed Palak paneer, malabar paratha, filter coffee and neer more. Lovely service. Every penny spent here is worth.

28/05/2025: Authentic South Indian flavors at their best! The parotta, rice with rich curries, fluffy idlis, crispy dosa, and a warm gulab jamun made for a delicious and satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

05/05/2025: The food was excellent, the menu was a tad bit small and basic . My reason for not giving the 5* would be the service!! It lacked a smile, a “how was your meal “ , we literally had the food dropped to the table and the table was not visited again until they cleared the plates away at which point still nobody asked how everything was for us , we then asked for the bill and that was put on the table and nobody came back , we paid in cash and as we where leaving nobody said “thanks for coming “ etc etc …. We were in and out in 45min . Would we return ? No , this is due to not feeling welcomed, it’s the basics that customers look for when choosing a venue to attend i’d suggest that house looks at some serious service training .

21/05/2025: Este ha sido durante unos 10 años mi restaurante favorito en Dublín y nunca decepciona. Si te gusta el bistec es el mejor bistec en Irlanda, el entorno, el servicio y la comida es perfecto. ¡Nada en Dublín es mejor que esto para mí!

10/05/2025: La comida era excelente, teníamos la tabla de carne y estaba cocinado a la perfección. Órdenes secundarias muy generosas también. El servicio en este restaurante es lo que lo hace especial. Michael el camarero es tan amable y eficiente. Todo el personal es encantador. Nuestro lugar favorito para comer en Dublín. Deliciosa comida y un servicio impecable.
