05/05/2026: We had a disappointing experience. In the middle of our meal, the waiter asked us to move to another table, which felt very disruptive and disrespectful. It’s not something you expect when you’re trying to enjoy your food. Overall, the service left a bad impression and could definitely be handled more thoughtfully.

03/08/2026: Eddie Rocket's is very well run by young guys who are eager to provide excellent service. The food is delicious, and the place has a great 70s-80s theme, just like other locations in this franchise. The location is excellent, and the service is fast and very friendly.

11/07/2026: This restaurant is a good location if you're going to the Concert Hall (less than 5 minutes walk). It was my first time here and won't be my last. Very warm greeting by John Paul and we got the €35 two course pre-theatre menu, which was great value considering the excellent quality. We had pork and chicken mains, with chocolate cake and ice cream desserts. Beautifully presented and delicious. The free prosecco offeed for our birthday celebrations was a lovely touch. Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well.

18/07/2026: We’ve been coming to Darwin’s for years and, we’ve never left disappointed until now. It was always one of our favourite places because of the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Being greeted by Colin and Sandra made it feel personal, relaxed, and homely. Sadly, that charm seems to have disappeared. Our recent visit was extremely disappointing. The new menu simply doesn’t suit the restaurant. The food was greasy, bland, and lacked the quality and flavour we’ve always associated with Darwin’s. It honestly felt like style had been prioritised over taste. The whole experience also felt rushed, and the cosy, atmosphere that made Darwin’s so special has been replaced with something that feels like all these new “retro” restaurants. It has lost the character that kept us coming back for so many years. The couple sitting next to us—who we’ve recognised from years of visiting Darwin’s—shared exactly the same opinion. They also said they wouldn’t be returning because they felt the restaurant had lost what made it special. Change can be a good thing, but unfortunately, this change hasn’t worked. We’re genuinely saddened to say that after years of loyal custom, this was the first time we’ve left Darwin’s unhappy. We sincerely hope the owners listen to the feedback from long-time customers and consider bringing back the quality, atmosphere, and sense of welcome that made Darwin’s such a special place.

11/07/2026: Jumped out if the hotel to grab the dinner. Very nice establishment, good food and beer.

23/07/2026: A cozy café, just the way we like them. The drinks and cakes are delicious. The staff are super friendly. A Dublin must-visit.

21/07/2026: 10 yrs ago the food here was great. Now it's basically just bland beans on toast for €15. I've cooked better eggs out of the back of a van. The sunday dj thing is also super confusing as it was so loud it drowned out all conversation. A good example of a place riding on it's prestige.

30/07/2026: Our sever Johnny M made this gem of a local pub an unforgettable spot. The vibe, the people in the bar, working the bar… even the amazing lot well behaved dogs at the bar. What a great local spot. Just off the beaten trail. Outstanding night, and as good of a Guiness pour you will ever find!

27/07/2026: The real deal. A local hub for a strong local community. Perfect Guinness and a genuine and friendly atmosphere. Exciting interior with lots to discover and learn about just on the way to the toilet. An honour to witness Mayo win Sam after all those 11 times in vain. Thank you.

22/07/2026: Was visiting Dublin for the last week and just finished my third day in row getting McGuinness. It was some of the best vegan food I’ve had the pleasure of eating. I think the vegan kebab was my personal favorite, but spice bag and Philly cheesesteak were also fantastic. I’m already thinking about my next trip here just to get it again!

24/07/2026: One of my favorite pubs! Always good eats and service. I've spotted a celebrity in here before if that's your thing. I don't drink beer but that's ok, no judgements here for the rose` drinker!
