The best restaurants in Dublin

19/03/2025: Perhaps the most ridiculous place I have ever visited. A “taqueria” where you can only order in multiples. They have 4 tacos but you can’t order one of each. They offer a 3 taco special but you have to order all of the same type. I clearly stated that this was LOCO. You can sell one of each. The employee said no our system won’t let us. I said just ring it up and then make us 3 tacos of our choice. Nope. Tiny tacos with soggy slow cooker meat. Bland salsa. Tortillas fall apart. Decent flavour but no attention to detail. And calling your business TACOS is pretty silly. 1 Try harder gang. Realise the magic of texture. Put the plancha to use and lose the crock pots. 2 Let people order in the normal way. You want people to experience your food? Let them order a variety of it.

04/03/2025: 10/10- so good, I got two more after my first order!

12/04/2025: Paid 15 euro for a pizza that looked like it cost 1 euro from ASDA. My guess is that it was frozen 10 minutes before it was served. What a rip off. Avoid. Drinks were fine and people were nice.

25/03/2025: Great pint of Guinness and used to be my local, always drop in for a pint of plain and watch The scouse army on a weekend when im back over. Lovely friendly staff too.

10/04/2025: This is a very expensive venue. A 200ml bottle of 7up €3.50 - Rip Off - only had the one. No draught Guinness 00 or any other 00 in the function room. Toooo noisy and crammed. Would I go there again - No

26/03/2025: Lovely small place. I got the chicken sandwich and it was better than I could've asked for. All the ingredients were fresh, especially the curry chicken which was incredibly good. The girls working there were very nice and attentive.

McHughs has gone from been good value for money to being very expensive … service has deteriorated, food quality good but very small portions … as the saying goes „good restaurants go bad, bad restaurants go bust“ PS we have never seen the owner in this restaurant so any reply will be meaningless

02/03/2025: Enjoyed a lovely evening with my mam in Mchughs of Raheny on Friday night. The team were incredibly friendly and the service excellent. My mam had the special which was the rump of lamb and I had the supreme chicken. Both gorgeous and the crumble for desert was fab. Lovely light friendly atmosphere with parking right outside the door. 😊

09/04/2025: Great pub in the heart of the city, which we just stumbled upon one evening. Funky decorations all over the place, great music selection and a lovely pint of Guinness.

30/03/2025: Really good experience at MPW. Our server Tharyn was excellent and looked after us throughout. Food was really good, and a nice atmosphere

23/03/2025: Very disappointed with the food. In all honesty I've had better steaks for less money. Best part of the meal was the chips and pickled onions rings. The staff however were great and couldn't do enough for you!

18/03/2025: Stopped in for a late lunch following the Saint Patrick’s parade and we were very impressed! Everything was phenomenal! We had a lovely Bordeaux with a caprese salad and shrimp and chorizo appetizers. The lobster and crab ravioli were amazing! My son had spaghetti fruta de mare and my husband had the carbonara. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our host was very friendly and shared tidbits of local area and recommended a trip to the top of the small lighthouse right outside. We highly recommend the Sparks Bistro!

07/04/2025: Great food, top service, and a brilliant location. The burger and Mediterranean Salad with chicken were spot on. It's also a kid-friendly place, and we found the value for money for the kids really good- a good quality burger and three scoops of ice cream is a good deal. We'll definitely be back.

28/03/2025: Lovely place for coffee, cocktails and dining. Highly recommend The Grayson, they also offer lots of flavorful vegetarian and vegan options. We tried the purple risotto with golden beetroot, honey roasted parsnip and carrots, and spiced cauliflower with harrisa hummus which were all delightful. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was beautiful.
