19/08/2025: A very well-known pub in the Temple Bar district.
The fish and chips are particularly generous, and the service is impeccable.
The live music is a bit loud in the afternoon (the crowd is younger than in the evening, so this should be taken into account).
Excellent address.
18/08/2025: Amazing live band. The singer is hilarious and able to get everyone moves!!! Highly recommended!

08/07/2025: I had such a great time at POG Café! The food was seriously amazing, everything we ordered was so tasty and beautifully made. The place has such a cozy and cool vibe, it’s the kind of spot you want to stay at for hours.
But what really made the difference was the service. Anderson was incredible. so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell he really cares about making people feel comfortable. He made our experience even better, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of that!
Highly recommend this place — it’s a gem!

30/08/2025: This place is like an oasis in the desert. You don't really expect to see such a spacious and cosy place when you look at it from the outside. Very nice indoor and outdoor seating available along with nice food and drinks. Quite easy to be a regular if you are living in the neighborhood.

07/09/2025: I didn’t go to the rooms as I didn’t stay overnight but the bar and restaurant are very nice. The staff are super helpful and friendly even when it’s at its busiest I’ve been here multiple times. I would recommend the wings they are divine
03/09/2025: We had a fantastic experience at our son's graduation meal in Gleesons on Monday. The staff were efficient and helpful when booking and had no problem when we altered our time slightly later or changed the number in our party. The set menu for lunch- 4 courses for €40 was excellent value for this part of Dublin, and the quality of food, decor, location and comfortable dining area exceeded our expectations! His friends' families also took our recommendations and booked lunch here. Every party were delighted with their food and service. There was a great range of dishes to suit young and older, more traditional diners. Well done Gleesons

07/09/2025: Menu, food, service, and staff were all excellent. The restaurant was full, and yet food service and staff were super efficient. Every dish we had was genuinely fantastic. Will have to go back again to try more items from their stunning menu.

06/09/2025: Lovely pub with friendly staff. Inside is really atmospheric, and the outside is well protected from the rain (although the bar stools got uncomfortable after a while!). Would recommend and would go back. My dog was allowed outside only.
27/08/2025: A hidden gem amidst all the tourist crowds, too bad I stumbled upon it on our last day in Dublin. Pat is a true gentleman, a wonderful person.

14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.

01/09/2025: Super cute shop with lovely staff. Went in two mornings in a row while staying in Dublin and the barista remembered my order from the day before and could not have been more lovely. Cannot recommend highly enough.
31/08/2025: Zero atmosphere with crappy, loud diddley-eye music going on out the back. One staff member had a bit of an attitude. The chai latte was lukewarm but the sandwich stone cold (but tasty, tbf). When I mentioned to the staff that a man on social media had suggested he’d look into a toaster/warming oven, she shot back ‘the owner’s a woman’. Won’t be heading back.

Gallagher's Boxty House, menu

12/09/2025: We enjoyed the food, drinks and the picture window that allowed us to watch all the action happening outside Gallaghers. Service was awesome too!
12/09/2025: We visited Boxty House in late July. Our waiter was David, and he was fantastic. Someone in our party has Celiac, and he was able to make great food and drink recommendations.
The food is absolutely fabulous--their fish and chips were absolutely top-notch.
Give this place a visit, and you'll be glad you did!

Very odd!
for Korean food there was little vegetarian dishes on offer and even though the staff were incredibly kind, they didn't seem to understand that vegetarians don't eat crustaceans or molluscs...??
also the blandest most tasteless Korean food I have eaten.
Oddly it seemed incredibly popular.
01/08/2025: Very nice place to visit. The waiters were very attentive, the food is really good and tasty. We'll repite.
