The best restaurants in Dublin

21/06/2025: We had breakfast there last Saturday and had super food and excellent coffee. The waitress serving us was superb and really looked after us. Superb cafe

11/06/2025: I love this small cafe and used to come for years and always bring some friend/family to enjoy a quiet time, the staff are absolutely kind, the atmosphere is great as the music too, and of course a lovely coffee, a slightly sweet caramel latte/cappuccino at the perfect taste (listen your customers preferences is a key of success, I’d say you’re rocking it). The below photo is from a quite while ago, as today I was so hungry and forgot to take a pic of my sausage roll which was great + caramel cappuccino.

21/12/2025: The best place I’ve ever been to in Dublin. Absolutely incredible meat that literally melts in your mouth. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you for creating such a wonderful festive atmosphere — it was truly special.

31/12/2025: I arrived at 6:30pm on New Years Eve without a reservation. And when the woman in charge heard I was a party of one she immediately found me a spot. The curry chicken was great, and a huge serving. And it also included garlic bread AND chips! And since it was a special night I ordered the bread and butter pudding. They added every extra possible, and it was amazing! Thanks to all for making my solo night a memorable one! (And for keeping my glasses safe until I returned for them.) Highly recommend!

28/01/2026: We were part of a group of 10 people. It was good, but not excellent. Menú was very limited and very little to my liking. Because 1 person wanted a la carte, we all had to go a la carte. Odd. Parking is difficult.

13/02/2026: Always a safe bet for really good food and a very nice location- however last night the service wasn’t great - had to ask for menus after waiting about 15 minutes at the table - requested condiments were forgotten about and had to chase the bill and then chase payment - staff were pleasant but went missing on occasion. Still a nice evening and always a good option.

09/02/2026: Had a really lovely experience at The Purty Kitchen. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, with that perfect mix of traditional pub charm and relaxed dining. The food was genuinely excellent — fresh, well cooked, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place you can settle into for a long lunch or a relaxed evening and not feel rushed. A great spot in Dún Laoghaire — would happily return and definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food and a warm, laid-back vibe.

08/02/2026: Atmosphere was fab, cosy and calm even with a full restaurant. Staff were lovely, particularly the host. Food 10/10. Not greasy at all and great value. Huge pot of tea also which is rare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

27/01/2026: First time in here and I’d say it won’t be the last. Popped in for a late breakfast and the place was buzzing without being mad loud. Staff were sound and gave me time to have a proper look at the menu, no rushing. I went for a cooked breakfast and it was decent quality, good portions, filled the hole nicely. Prices are a bit on the higher side but you can see where it’s going. Atmosphere was warm and relaxed, nice spot to sit and chat. Solid place if you’re in the area.

14/01/2026: 66 Street is a bar with an openly LGBT-friendly atmosphere. The place is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it very comfortable from the moment you walk in. The service is good, attentive, and respectful. It stands out for its size and for having an area where the music gets the party going, creating a pleasant, diverse, and well-run party atmosphere, always with respect. Without a doubt, it's a place worth checking out to have a good time and enjoy an inclusive and well-designed space.

03/01/2026: This is the first time in my life I've left a restaurant without eating at least half of my meal. My sister and I ordered a seafood showdown. It was inedible... just hot, extremely salty, and with a very strange texture. It was, however, very rich in fish. The bread that came with it was very dense. The price was also excessive. It's a shame, because the atmosphere, the music, and the service were nice.

06/01/2026: Food was really good. I got make your own pancakes with Oreos, strawberrys and chocolate sauce and I loved it. The staff were really friendly and I could hear everyone I was with easily because it wasn't too loud

07/12/2025: Recommended this place by the team at Hot Box Sauna. Amazing coffee, the foam for the flat white was silky smooth. Can’t wait to pop back it will become my weekly coffee spot.

13/01/2026: Its a NO for me. Staff very slow and rude. A group of us (10 ppl) came here to celebrate my daughters bday. Left down by the poor service. Felt totally unwelcomed and had to ask for everything several times from the start to the end. I know it was a busy Christmas time, but we were early enough and it wasnt even busy. Wont be back and certanly cant recommend.
