30/06/2026: I have been a customer of this restaurant since 2012. Over the years, the restaurant changed ownership, and unfortunately the quality declined, which is when we started ordering less frequently. Tonight, for old times' sake, I placed an order for myself and my family. After waiting more than 40 minutes, I received a call informing me they had run out of boiled rice and asking if pilau rice would be acceptable instead. Around 20 minutes later, they called again to say they had also run out of bhajis and could only provide 4 of the 6 ordered, offering 2 samosas as a replacement. At that point, I asked for the order to be refunded. The lady on the phone simply said "OK" and hung up. A few minutes later, a man called and asked why I was "making a big fuss" about the situation. I explained that my issue was not the substitutions themselves, but the delays and the poor communication. In the end, I agreed to accept the delivery, which arrived about 10 minutes later. Once again, the call ended without so much as an apology or any gesture of goodwill. What stood out most throughout the entire experience was the complete lack of accountability. At no stage did anyone acknowledge the inconvenience caused or apologise for either the service or the attitude displayed over the phone. The food itself reflected the experience. The four bhajis we received were undercooked, with raw onion and gram flour clearly noticeable in the centre of each one. The two Madras dishes tasted like watered-down tomato soup with chicken pieces swimming in it. There was virtually no spice, depth of flavour, or resemblance to a Madras curry. Ordering food at 8pm on a bank holiday Monday from a restaurant that is clearly in decline turned out to be an expensive mistake. Fortunately, there are now other, better alternatives in the village. I hope the owners find a way to improve both the quality of the food and, more importantly, the way they treat paying customers. As things stand, we will not be returning, and I will certainly warn others to avoid this restaurant

18/07/2026: I came for the first time in my life this evening with my daughter. When I ordered my drink myself and my daughter were told that my daughter was not being served. When we enquired as to why, we were told that we didn’t have to be given a reason. We have never done anything in the small number of times we have been there, and we had not been drinking before coming this evening. I would have understood had we been given a reason, however it seems as though people are refused service without justification, based on how the staff are feeling from one moment to the next.

31/12/2025: I arrived at 6:30pm on New Years Eve without a reservation. And when the woman in charge heard I was a party of one she immediately found me a spot. The curry chicken was great, and a huge serving. And it also included garlic bread AND chips! And since it was a special night I ordered the bread and butter pudding. They added every extra possible, and it was amazing! Thanks to all for making my solo night a memorable one! (And for keeping my glasses safe until I returned for them.) Highly recommend!

13/07/2026: A lovely bar and beer garden. Great atmosphere. Its lovely to see a packed bar of concert goers and football fans all having a good time surrounded by pride flags and nobody cares. A bar for everyone. Wish this bar was in the city centre👍👍

30/07/2026: Had a wonderful date with my girlfriend today and to say the least the food is divine. The flavours are like nothing else and seasoned to perfection the portion sizes were really filling and if I wasnt in a rush id go for dessert.

28/07/2026: I was there and had the all-you-can-eat meal. I received excellent service from Pamela, Lídia, Gilmar, Pietra, and André. The meats were delicious and the service was superb.
