13/05/2025: No visit to Dublin is complete without stopping here.

12/05/2025: Had booked a combined package of both the Store House and Open Gate for the 4th May. Having done the Store House, which was excellent, moved on to Open Gate in order to have beer and food only to be told at the entrance that it was closed for a private function. No email sent to advise us of this, allowed us make a booking and even sent a reminder booking the previous day to remind us of our booking. Emailed on the Monday the address given to us to get a refund and to date 12th May no response whatsoever , very poor service.

22/05/2025: Wow! What a beautiful restauran for celebrating a special occasion like my friends birthday. A wonderful welcome and delicious food to match. She even got a free birthday cake! Friendly and professional service with impeccable manner. Definitely worth a visit.

16/05/2025: We just had the pleasure of dining in this wonderful establishment from the moment we arrived we were welcomed in to a lovely warm Athmosphere the front of house staff are fantastic on the ball with everything attention to detail was fantastic.we had a 3 course beautiful meal with a few cold drinks first of all I will say I had the best pint of Guinness I've ever had in a restaurant top notch.now the best for last our food was flawless one of the best meals we've had in a long time once again the attention to detail and the flavours were amazing our main was a 10 oz rib eye cooked to perfection and my better half had the chicken supreme which was also magnificent compliments to the chef MR KARL BROWN and about master of his craft ...it was simply a culinary masterpiece. Thank you so much to the staff of MC HUGHS RAHENY we will certainly be back again.10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

16/04/2025: Horrible antes de que empezara. Como acordamos durante nuestra llamada de reserva llegamos a las 9 pm. El restaurante parecía lleno y el gerente no nos dejó entrar, alegando que el atuendo de mi hija no era adecuado para ese lugar. ¿En serio? Fue una excusa grosera porque el restaurante estaba lleno. Fue una actitud grosera para alguien que se las arregla como lugar que depende de las revisiones y recomendaciones. Tal cintura. Deseadle buena suerte y la próxima vez os traeremos nuestro vestido de lentejuelas. Qué triste actitud...

13/04/2025: The Manager was rude and dismissive. The tables were jammed together and the waiters kept bumping into our chairs. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and tense. The food was very average. Overall a very poor customer experience.

30/05/2025: Their signature burger was insane and their sharing platter also looked amazing

26/05/2025: Really Nice and tasty Burger with fries and bacon Mac n cheese. Marco was really attentive and helpful with service, will definitely go back there. Everyone should try it.

05/05/2025: This is a very nice local restaurant, as I live nearby… I’ve been once but not in ages… not only is the menu a good size but great options.. the design and atmosphere is so nice and the staff very friendly and helpful.. the service is quick and a golf drinks menu as well… I will b returning to try more, especially the starters and the dessert as I was too full to get it. Only two desserts but good choices

11/05/2025: Like come on let’s be real. I’ve been eating DiFontaines since 2015. Whatever they did, the pizza now is just plain bad. Expensive and bad. You need to be really drunk to enjoy it. It’s just a money grab nowadays.

03/05/2025: Fast food pizza place. There is no real place to eat or sit at the restaurant. Bought 3 slices takeaway which costed ~19€. I find this to be quite expensive. At least the pizza was fresh and tasty.

15/05/2025: Some of the poorest service I have experienced in Dublin in terms of bringing the wrong things, not listening to the customer and the amount of time it took for food to come out. Whilst I appreciate it isn't a vegetarian restaurant I kept being given non-vegetarian dishes as servers didn't know what food was for who. As a main the risotto was mush but tasted fine, sides were small but ok and the dessert was tasty. As a restaurant positioning itself at the higher end of the price/quality scale it isn't somewhere I would recommend.

14/05/2025: I think there were very limited options especially for “fish” We went there without a plan, so didn’t check menu first - but my expectation was different - you can each other sea foods and their presenting is nice. But if you want to eat fish - not salmon or hake or anything selling at Tesco - check the menu first before going there

06/05/2025: Nice corner coffee shop, with excellent staff, good coffee, and good atmosphere over all specially if you get a table outside in a sunny day.

23/04/2025: Had an issue with my bank account this mornings so I was not able to pay for my coffee initially. Staff were very patient with me and even offer to let me pay later. When I was able to pay I left my stamp card in my panic and they ran out to give it to me. Great staff and will be coming back again.

03/03/2025: I got one of their pies at the food market in Bushy park, hands down the best pie I have ever eaten. Needed more so paid a visit to their cafe, had some nice salads with my pie, sat outside in the sun, staff were very friendly, food is top notch.

01/05/2025: Came in expecting the worst in terms of quality of taste per euro spent. Happy to have my bias confounded. The house white and red wines were both extremely tasty for their price point. The Yahoos ( 3 slider mini burgers ) were well prepped and came with a variety of cheeses to top them. Service was attentive, professional and quick. Venue was 90% full , so no waiting for the last available table.

08/05/2025: Absolutely loved it. The food and the staff are great. I absolutely love it. It is my favourite Indian restaurant and looking forward to going again.

13/04/2025: The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is friendly and attentive. The amazing avocado toast! I needed to eat well and this was a grateful brunch to continue walking. The coffee is great, good flavor and they have vegetable milk.

30/04/2025: Lovely menu and setting, but I found the food very dissapointing. We got Patatas Bravas which only came served with tomato sauce, ‘crispy gambas’ which were fried in the shell and nearly inedible. The ham croquettes were quite nice and the Burrata was ok, if not very plain. All in all, I was looking forward to the food coming down but was extremely dissapointed when it did. Quite a good menu, but the delivery was seriously lacking.

18/05/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because of the waiter, John. I went last week, and he was very nice and served us perfectly. It's a pleasure to travel and meet people as nice as John, who are so attentive.
