01/12/2025: Absolutely gorgeous food, great coffee and a chill casual atmosphere! I loved the porridge and the avocado toast with poached eggs was great! Will definitely be back time and again!

08/05/2026: DO NOT COME HERE!! I ordered a shrimp curry dish and what came back was HORRIFYING! I seen black hairs in my shrimp and it looks like the chefs pubes! DO NOT COME HERE!! Staff was insulting and rude and kept scratching their bottoms! No wonder I have food poisoning now! Don’t come here if I could I’d rate it a 0/10 shame on you Nageh

12/05/2026: Lovely, bar, great friendly service however they really need to invest in their toilets. Both ladies had toilet seats that didn't fit and the hand dryer didn't work and there were no paper towels.

12/05/2026: Debbie was the staff member for us and she was so kind and inviting! The fish and chips had the greatest batter and crisp, with two delicious sauces! So amazing, highly recommend and easily feeds two people if you want to split dishes for sharing. The seafood chowder was also so flavorful and full of a quality variety of foods. There’s a great pub atmosphere for adults, and kid friendly from the crowd eating there at the same time. Good music but not too loud you can enjoy your company. Highly recommend.

11/05/2026: A lovely time at Gallagher's Boxty House in Dublin. The homemade fish and chips was a delight, fresh and perfectly crispy. Special mention goes to the mushy peas, which were very good, far from bland. The service was efficient and quick. But the real revelation for me was the dessert: an incredibly creamy cheesecake. It literally melted in your mouth, with a chocolate and red berry topping that added just the right amount of richness and zest. A pleasant place that I recommend.

07/05/2026: I went here with my friend Miguel, he’s from Spain, he was perplexed why we got our food with no cutlery. He then asked Brendan do you not use cutlery. Brendan was not impressed. Food was outstanding apart from the lack of toast, they could do with getting an actual toaster, I believe they are quite cheap these days. Seems like a tricky thing to get right. If they allowed customers to butter their own toast Brendan would probably be able to buy 5 hi tech toasters with Bluetooth connection and live in the Bahamas

04/05/2026: This pub in Blanchardstown village has a lot of character! 🍻 The atmosphere was truly unique (thou PETA activist beware). While the breaded Brie was a bit simple for what they charged, and a small charge mix-up happened, the seafood linguine, beef & Guinness pie, and noodles were wonderful. 😋 I want to definitely return try their carvery! 🍽️

04/05/2026: We ordered 2 large portions of chicken wings and the portion was smaller than a small portion of wings. I raise this with the waitress and she said she placed a large order, she has no control of the portions… then I saw the next table order a large portion and I knew they messed up our order.. 18€ per portion mind you.. I’m just upset I didn’t take a photo of it.. we also ordered prawns pil pil.. 19€ for this.. pizza is 19€ for an average pizza.. the pub is good for pints but make sure you eat before you go…

29/04/2026: Went just before 1pm, got a brunch menu which wasn't what we were after. Om asking informed lunch was served after 1pm. We were given lunch menus & ordered a drink whilst we waited. Food was really nice, atmosphere relaxed for a Saturday & staff friendly. Prices were reasonable & the decor is stunning.

19/10/2025: Fantastic food truck, I've eaten it on a few occasions and its always been great, went down with two friends and they were closing up but they gave us 2 servings of chips just for making the trip. Would strongly recommend.
