30/08/2024: I Went for food by myself to this place, I noticed I was getting dirty looks off the staff that work there, only person who gave me smile was Asian girl. When she found me a seat. I didn’t feel welcome at all. The girl who took my order, got my chips wrong , I clearly said cheese bacon garlic and chips. and the rest off the people in the place got given water on the house. They didn’t even offer me it or noticed it. It’s there job to noticed stuff like that. Specially eating buffalo chicken wings. I won’t be returning to this place specially if I got anxiety. The first time I went there I felt a good atmosphere and felt welcome. . I just wanted to get outta there to be honest. Very smug specially that women. Sorry for the bad review but I been working hard all week and was trying to enjoy my meal. I think I talked to the owner before and he was very nice, I won’t be returning again, thought very highly of this place, now I don’t

05/11/2024: In three years prices went up 30% while also reducing significantly portion and coffee is constantly tasting like burnt ashes despite multiple visits. 13.40 for a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich is simply extortion. Fresh down the road does a breakfast bagel for 6.50, much better value for money. Pity a few years ago it used to be excellent. Service is still very good.

16/11/2024: It was exactly as it says on the tin, okay. I thought the music was really good and so were the dancers. The lads on the stage are entertainers as well as musicians and played a great variety of music. The big drawback you need to be aware of is that some of the tables have seats with an obstructed view and instead of looking at what's happening on stage, you will just be looking at a pillar. I do not believe this is mentioned when buying the tickets to the show. The food was of a typical Irish hotel quality. We all had a duck salad, which had duck pate, a couple of slices of bread, some rocket leaves and the smallest amount of orange sauce. These were all separate on the plate, which I would not consider to be a 'salad', but you may excuse my ignorance. All in all, if you get good seats, the show is definitely worth coming for. The food is below par for my personal taste, but probably on par with what you get in many Irish hotels. It's worth it to experience it once, but I wouldn't be rushing back.

24/11/2024: Central and economical place to eat. Large plate of food to your liking for 12 euros. Food cooked there and salads. Free water. I don't recommend coffee and sweets because they are expensive.

10/09/2024: Food was good but the service....waitress was throwing them plates on our table as if they were Frisbees! Very rude and slow aswell. Next time the pizza will be for take away.

11/11/2024: Would recommend Good: Bar was nice and spacious, nice range of drinks Great location and security too Room spacious and good facilities Rooms were nice and quite Special packages were good as well Bad: Under bed was very dusty Alot of the grout in shower was orange Scrambled egg and breakfast was unpleasant No glasses at breakfast so asked manager for them, girl who brought them down had a face of stone and completely mute. Disappointing considering all other staff were pleasant. Complimentary water in the room would be appreciated as most 4 star we stay in offer 2 bottles on arrival.

02/11/2024: I arrived without a reservation after 9pm on a Saturday, but luckily the kitchen was open, so I was able to eat such pretty and delicious food. We weren't very hungry, so we only ordered one main appetizer each, but they tactfully brought us a shared plate each time, making it feel like we were tasting a black and white chef... The waiters kept asking us how we liked it, so we recommended it two or three times!

30/10/2024: Stopped in for my last drink in Dublin before the end of my trip to head home. Tough way to end the trip 😠 Ordered a vodka martini which was awful, basically it was a chilled glass of vermouth. Wasn’t worth my time to comment and try to teach the bartender how to make a martini. Very disappointed … please take a class on how to make a martini !
