The best restaurants in Dublin

10/10/2026: Security and staffs kept informing to remove my cap but locals are wearing cap as per normal

10/10/2026: Just a comment about not barring customers wearing hats at the entrance and then, two hours later, telling the person they can't wear a hat inside the pub.

26/07/2026: Absolutely disgraceful customer service. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, yet I was treated with complete disrespect by Erick. He attempted to overcharge me, and when I questioned the price, instead of explaining it professionally, he rudely told me to leave if I didn’t like it. To make matters even worse, this is the second Friday this month that I’ve gone to the restaurant at around 1:30 a.m. and been refused the opportunity to eat inside. When I politely asked why, Erick simply claimed it was “restaurant policy.” I respectfully asked him to show me that policy, but he refused and dismissively told me it was “not my problem.” A business that values its customers should never allow employees to behave this way. The combination of rude treatment, lack of transparency, and complete disregard for customer service is unacceptable. If this is how regular customers are treated, I can only imagine the experience for first-time visitors. Management seriously needs to address this behavior before more customers decide to take their business elsewhere.

15/07/2026: A place to eat Mexican-style food. You can choose from different meats and ingredients. Very friendly staff who spoke to us in Spanish. Prices are listed on Maps and are outdated, but everything was fine.

13/09/2026: I’ve been here so many times and loved it every single time 🙊. Crouffle, bubble tea, corn dogs, cakes, the pancakes are delicious! Staff always super welcoming and friendly as well.

26/08/2026: Great Bar Staff. Friendly, quick service, always have time for a chat, but sometimes they don't like my jokes, ( probably because they heard them all before) Worth a vist. Great value for 💰

19/08/2026: Went for lunch today with my friend, food delicious and staff so friendly and a car park at the back which is handy as parking hard to get in Lucan Village. Will be back, thanks to the really nice barman also☺️

25/09/2026: I went in the afternoon, place was empty, told to sit-down and my order will be taken.. I waited, no one came so I decided to go somewhere else.

13/09/2026: I visited this place on Sunday, right after they opened at 12pm. I was the first customer. The staff at the desk was very polite and friendly. I made my order, the Shish salmon regular (€19) and I asked also for tap water. The order was served after 30 minutes, which I personally think it took too long. Maybe they weren't expecting the salmon as first order. I dont know. The food tasted very fresh and the salmon was very tasty. In my opinion, for the price paid I would have expected more salad. I felt the portion wasn't reflecting the price. On a personal note, cause I don't smoke, the door entrance was kept open and someone was smoking outside. It was windy, so the smoke propagated into the dine room spoiling the taste of my food. I don't live in the area but I was visiting a friend at the nearby Beacon Hospital, so I wanted to eat proper food rather than sandwiches, so it is not my abitual place. Probably I would go to other more city centre location if I chose Zaytoon.

22/08/2026: Hi, That is awful, to be honest. Wrap flat as a pancake, smushed. Full of mayo, no proper ingredients. Never saw something like that. Shocked. Guys, you are cheating. For 7.50, it’s not acceptable. Wanted to contact you directly, but no email or phone number provided. Also not able to add pictures to the review.

04/09/2026: i wouldn’t recommend at all. they told us loads of perks we’d get as commitee like free tickets we only got 2, free drinks in there and more, we got none of these. when we texted the organiser, he took days or weeks to respond and was NO help, he was rude and gave little information. on the day of the ty ball the works were also very rude

12/09/2026: Horse Show House We had our dinner here. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, and we chose to sit outside. The staff took our order at the table. The food was tasty, and we enjoyed our dinner.

03/10/2026: My 8 year old son went to pay and he was bullied by the worker we got two box meals and we only got a burger and drink so we were missing the chicken tenders and chips very disappointing

20/09/2026: Overpriced and underwhelming, we came for a dinner for my wife’s birthday, what a let down. My tagliatelle came with the tiniest mussels I have ever seen and I’m pretty sure that the prawns were cooked from frozen in the microwave. The serving staff made several errors including forgetting to bring out one of the starters. Just a massive disappointment.

11/08/2026: I have recently been to DDT for two events in recent weeks, and had unpleasant experiences at both. Your bar staff are incredibly rude and impatient to all patrons. The worst was an act of ableism which is deeply concerning. They allege they are an “accessible venue” yet a wheelchair user couldn’t access your front door. Most harrowingly, said user got trapped between doors at the back and couldn’t open the fire escape to exit. When they shouted for help, a member of your bar staff was incredibly dismissive and rude and accosted her for shouting. Considering this venue literally burned down years ago, it’s worrisome that a fire exit couldn’t be adequately opened without assistance. I used to love this venue but your bar staffs horrible attitude has ruined it for me. I will not be returning, as will a lot of friends who witnessed the event the other night.
