09/11/2024: Portion size was very small. I’ve got 2 sad slices of end of loaf which were hidden under a heap of rocket leaves. Food was fresh but very bland. Staff is very nice.

01/11/2024: Tried to get in and was ID’d by bouncers, our driver’s licenses are from up north and one of our friends looks different to ours as hers was a year older before they changed them. Three of us were let in (younger than her) but they claimed that the ID was illegitimate because it didn’t look the same. Then proceeded to show a picture of her passport, instagram etc etc, still said it didn’t look the same. They then tried to take it off her and not give it back, luckily we got it back. But seriously, if you’re going to have bouncers make sure they know how to ID someone properly and not go off by if they look the same. Even asked if they had the blue light to check it but said no.

30/10/2024: Downeys is a pub on the corner of the new Cabra Road and Newgrange Road, it has music at weekends. Very authentic and old school. The prices are reasonable and the bar staff are prompt, professional and polite.
People tend to bring their own food in during the week when it’s not too busy.
This place sells bottled Guinness which is plus.
22/10/2024: Unique experience, not everybody's cup of tea, being going there for over 40 years, love ❤️ it. Been back, still love it, like a time warp.

01/09/2024: If you are looking for a decent Italian espresso and a coffee that is more on the bitter side than acidic, this is your place to go! We enjoyed ours.
12/08/2024: Delight there was something gluten free to eat. Can I ask that you cover the cakes and add a separate tongs. Then there is better chance to minimise cross contamination. Maybe add a bit of training of staff needed to minimise they cross contaminating.
Sorry for these demand from a coeliac.

11/08/2024: Poor experience again. Wrong drink delivered and never have full range of whisky on their menu. Always put in a special request to sit away from the toilet, it's the first table offered even when there are 10 tables free and there's always a pause by staff when you request to sit away from the door to the toilet!! Needs some improvement on customer service, that's my update on my unfortunately my local.

09/11/2024: Went here over summer, staff was mostly great however blonde waitress would not acknowledge me and would only answer my boyfriend. After asking for two glasses of water she would only bring one for him and pretend I wasn’t there, continuously lingered behind me looking at him and made us very uncomfortable. Such a shame as the place itself was great

12/11/2024: This hotel was an absolute delight! The staff’s hospitality, the fantastic breakfast, and the comfort of the rooms made my stay exceptional. The decor in the lounge areas is truly charming, and the hotel’s prime location is perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended! (It was a bonus that some team members spoke Spanish, which helped me handle a quick task more efficiently :))

Just Chubbys Tacos Truck

14/09/2024: A nice little set-up, but unfortunately I didn't think the tacos were good. Although the beef come with consomé they were quite dry. Some salsa would have been nice. The chicken was a little better, but again very dry. Wouldn't return again.
