29/04/2025: Ristorante/pab fuori Dublino, troppo distante se non si possiede un mezzo o se non si prende un taxi ma la spesa incide abbastanza, dal centro di Dublino, dal ponte piu famoso "Ha' penny" alla location sono 30 € andata, e 30 € ritorno. Gradevole l'impatto appena arrivati, una struttura a due piani. L'interno: più tradizionale a pianterreno, al 1°piano una grande sala con lunghe tavolate e palchetto per spettacolo ( quest'ultima, la classica "sala turistica"). Possibilità di scelta tra menu di pesce o carne di 3 portate: antipasto, secondo, una fetta di torta alle mele, una caraffa d'acqua dal rubinetto. Scelto il menù di carne al costo di € 64 p.p.+ intrattenimento. L' antipasto era inconsistente: "3 piccole/piccole mousse" di formaggio con sfoglia e un pomodorino e qualche foglia di verdura. ( diciamo che se ci si aspetta un antipasto tipico dublinese non ci siamo proprio, sarebbe stato preferibile dire che il menù è di 2 portate e non di 3 ). Il secondo: "stufato di manzo" e "fetta di torta" buoni. Le bevande escluse. Lo spettacolo al di là delle canzoni e della musica dei musicisti, a tratti più coinvolgente, i ballerini molto ripetitivi. Mi dispiace dirlo ma in centro ci sono proposte sicuramente più valide e convenienti.

27/03/2025: El show fue fantástico, divertido y divertido. La curva es una gran cantidad de interacción con la audiencia y muchos datos interesantes. Los bailarines eran grandes y profesionales. No comimos pero puedes comprar boleto con la cena.

08/11/2025: Popped in here for brunch today and we were made so welcome from the moment we opened the door. Haven't been here in a year or so, as live too far away, but delighted they are still serving up the best brunch and as amazing as ever. Brought friends who were blown away by the quality of the food.Presentation and portions were 100% You can taste the fresh ingredients and the flavours are fabulous. Very happy to return and find it better than ever.

01/11/2025: I was looking forward to getting Griolladh for the first time as I’d heard such brilliant things. I was so disappointed when it arrived. It was tiny & had 1 small piece of limp lettuce. I understand times are tough for everyone in the industry but if you’re paying over a tenner for a sandwich you’d expect a nice full sandwich.

15/07/2025: We went to Buskers on the Ball to watch the Wimbledon final between Sinner and Alcaraz. After a bit of confusion trying to find the actual pub (which was in a basement and as soon as we entered, but that was just our oversight), we found ourselves in a proper sports pub with dozens of TVs showing sports of all kinds. The bartenders didn't immediately understand our needs (maybe I assumed Wimbledon = tennis), but they told us to pick any TV and they'd show the match right there. As for food, there's a wide selection, less so for beer. Except for Guinness, of the other four available, three had already sold out by 3:30 PM, leaving very little choice. Furthermore (though I don't know if this is a local custom or not), payment was required for each round of beer/food, rather than a single bill at the end of the evening (not a positive or negative point, just worth noting). Prices are slightly higher than average, especially considering the pub's central location—we are in the Temple Bar area, after all. There are, however, ping pong, foosball, billiards, and other arcade games available throughout the venue. It's definitely a great place to hang out if you're looking to watch any sporting event.

12/07/2025: I was waiting one hour for the fish&chips and still didn’t get it. They gave me a refund at the end which is fine, but they should work on the communication, since 10 minutes evolved into 60 minutes without the food on my table… Cool place to watch sport and hang out with friends though

30/06/2025: Ordered 2 breakfast rolls, 5 minutes within ordering my food I rang them to add dietary requirements( it says ring restaurant to add dietary requirements),as there is no option when ordering and was told the order left the shop? Within 5 minutes of ordering food? So firstly not fresh and secondly they wouldn’t let me add my preference said well cancel your order and reorder it? Not happy at all not a good service. If you are ordering food you should be allowed to give dietary requirements. Won’t be ordering again

11/12/2025: Even though it’s busy most of the time, there’s something oddly calming about browsing here. It’s easy to wander through the floors without feeling pressured. You can take your time with the displays, and the staff never hover, which makes it a genuinely pleasant visit.

06/12/2025: The place is very well decorated. The shop has lovely things. The café has delicious treats and very friendly staff. Fast service.

06/07/2025: This restaurant and shops is our favourite place where it has Indian and pizza. The restaurant and shop is open although the gate is close. Just approached the gate and security guy will open the door for you. We had a great dine in as usual!

23/08/2025: I absolutely love calling into Mackey’s cafe every weekend. The food is always delish & served hot. Coffee is great & staff are friendly and always up for the chats! Perfect walking distance from the forest too

22/11/2025: This place is a little gem, for sit in or take away, the pizzas especially are up there with the best in my opinion. Homemade chips are also a big hit with us too. Well worth a visit.

06/12/2025: Stopped I on my way by. They serve Kilkenny on draft which is rare. Supposed to have 1 but had to have another. As the barman said, a bird never flew on one wing. Gorgeous pint. I'm not local, but next time going to Croker, I'll go out of my way to drop in
