The best restaurants in Dublin

24/10/2025: consistently amazing food and the staff are so friendly and attentive! The farmhouse is iconic, simple as that.

23/10/2025: This place was outstanding but recently quality has dropped significantly and prices have gone up. Very expensive now. Service is poor. Pity because it was the best option in the area.

06/01/2026: Food 10/10 I ordered buffalo wings, they were perfect not too spicy and not too sweet. The chips were really nice, soft and tasty. My partner got a spice box, was very well done and tasty aswell Service 10/10 Staff are extremely friendly, and helpful I have a load of allergies but they guided me through the menu like nothing, We will definitely be back.

24/07/2025: So *this* is what proper fish n chips is supposed to taste like. I've never been the biggest fan of the dish, disappointed numerous times, but this is a rare instance that the internet overlords of 'must visit' places is actually correct. I tried to do a walk-in when they opened, but they were already booked for the afternoon. Luckily, the nice young lady offered an evening reservation, which I took. It ended up being quite relaxed and not crowded at about 17:00, so I was happy I took this option. The haddock was about as perfect as I imagine fish n chips should be. The chips were quite good as well. And the tartare sauce is like opium. Had to get an extra heap of the stuff (it costs quite a bit extra). Friendly staff... not a cheap outing, but well well worth it over that other Dublin chain restaurant that will remain nameless.

03/02/2026: Went to a Christian Meditation group on a Monday evening at 7.30 . Different forms of meditation each week. Coordinated by either Fr Frank Okeefe or Pat Talbot. Believe there is also a Buddhist group..

12/03/2026: Nandos is One of my favorite spots to have grilled chicken. And Nandos in Santry Omni Shopping Centre is absolutely great place... Very nice staff and lovely ambience makes this place more cool. It's very spacious and lovely arrangements that makes it feel so comfortable...❤️

25/01/2026: A small, traditional Italian café with a limited selection of snacks (croissants, focaccia). The service is attentive and friendly. The food is of high quality. However, the prices are a bit too high (two 0.33-liter beers and two focaccias cost over €30).

16/01/2026: I had the best espresso in Dublin. The place is also beautiful and feels like being in Italy. The staff is excellent and above all speaks Italian.

10/10/2025: I visited Bunsen Blanchardstown on Friday evening (October 10th), and despite the place being incredibly busy with people constantly queuing, the experience was fantastic thanks to the amazing girls working on the floor. There were only three staff members managing all the tables and service, yet they went above and beyond to make sure every customer was looked after. They were constantly on the move, multitasking minute after minute, all while staying friendly, calm, and professional. The food was, as always, top quality fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. A special shoutout to the girl working Friday evening, dark hair in two braids, wearing a North Face T-shirt, she was an absolute Wonder Woman, absolutely incredible! So kind, attentive, and hardworking. She truly deserves recognition for how well she handled the chaos. But let’s be clear, the owners and upper management should be ashamed. Having only three staff on the floor and three in the kitchen for such a busy location is completely unacceptable. The fact that these workers are forced to carry the entire operation while management sits back and lets it happen is disgraceful. Bunsen has built a great name for its food and service, but that reputation doesn’t come from the owners, it comes from the incredible frontline staff who are being stretched to their limits. These girls aren’t just doing their jobs; they’re saving your brand every single shift.

19/08/2025: Went to Grumps for the first time, guided by Google Maps, but turns out the opening hours were completely wrong. Why would a business not update that info themselves, instead of waiting for a customer (or in this case, a wannabe customer) to do it for them?

05/04/2026: Had an amazing experience at The Black Forge Inn! The steak was absolutely delicious – cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, but what really stood out was the incredible staff. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel so comfortable from start to finish. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

04/04/2026: Sat right at the door was absolutely freezing, within about a minute was asked what we were having before I’d even looked up at my girlfriend, was faster food than McDonalds wasn’t even there 45 minutes don’t get me wrong the food was decent nothing to rant about probably because we cooked it ourselves but the service was awful for the hype the place gets

19/12/2025: One of the most cozy Insomnia in Dublin. Immaculate place, hygiene staff, friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, soft light and music.

10/02/2026: A very good tapas bar with excellent food and great cocktails.

08/02/2026: Food well presented but the taste was a let down. Sent back a dish because it was bland. Steak came out was mostly fat. Food was out within 10 minutes of sitting down which is always a bad sign.
