01/01/2026: Such a lovely pub with the friendliest atmosphere. The staff were so welcoming, especially the man behind the bar who was absolutely brilliant. He served us really nice tea and coffee, and the sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. Everyone was chatty and kind, and the whole place felt so comfortable. We genuinely felt right at home from the moment we arrived. A really warm, friendly pub. Credit to everyone working there ⭐️

15/04/2026: Fantastic night out for our 25th anniversary. Service was amazing , they take your coats and make you feel that you are there priority. It.was a Tuesday so fairly quiet but not really surprising with having all the bus and stopparges going on . I could at least talk to my husband without it been to noisy. The food was very good , we had venison cargars then I had Salmon with a lovely sauce and broccoli My husband got the lamb, he said it was delicious. For dessert I got the creme brulee and my husband got Pavlova ( more meringue than Pav ). We also had a lovely bottle of wine from NZ (Hunter Malborough wine. ) Service was second to none ,not one complaint. They even gave us a plate of delectable desserts with Haapy anniversary on the plate. A very thoughtful touch. I recommend the Shelbourne saddle room for an experience you won't regret. 10/04/2026: We had our wedding here in October and had the most amazing day. The food was absolutely outstanding and all the staff so professional, they really made our day. We would like to thank all the staff who made our day so special.

18/04/2026: Me and my partner sat outside for a drink after leaving somewhere for food. The service we received from Jess and Denise was just amazing. The two kindest and loveliest women - we were made feel right at home from the two of them. I couldn’t recommend their customer service more and even though we just stopped for a drink (not knowing it was even a restaurant) the reality of them being so nice and attentive makes us want to make plans to be there again for dinner. And we will deffo be making reservations for our next date night. Also shout out to ‘hot chef’ who we didn’t get to experience but is a fan favourite 🤣❤️

15/04/2026: Had a reservation for 4 people for dinner , it was a great evening full of laughter fun and delicious food and drinkin a super cozy atmosphere ! My friends ordered a pint first and they came in and surprised him with a baby pint 😂😂 then later we got funny hats to take pictures staff was so lovely and cheery !!! 10/10 would recommend and the cocktails are super amazing & very tasty !!!!!!!!

10/05/2026: The bar is incredibly friendly, with great music. We reserved a table and spent a wonderful, cheerful time. The food is good, even if it's typical bar fare. Highly recommended.

16/04/2026: THE BEST burgers I have ever had in my life. Seriously. We were in Dublin for about five days and went back twice. Absolute banger. Top-tier meat. I would recommend it to everyone traveling to Dublin. For the girlies; it was so good that it earned two full pages in my scrapbook. That is how good it was!

14/04/2026: Was left sitting for 15 minutes without even a drink order taken, while others who were seated after us had their order taken. Tried to flag down staff and was ignored by both so we left without eating.

08/10/2025: No exaggeration I think this is the best latte in Dublin. Staff are really friendly and it's always a chill vibe. (Sausage rolls are also great)

28/09/2025: Container Coffee is a lovely little find. The design is fresh and unexpected — it feels creative rather than overly styled — which gives it a relaxed, modern charm. Because of its layout and openness, it’s a great spot when the sun’s out: you can soak up the light, enjoy your drink, and feel connected to the surroundings. The location is very convenient, with easy access, making it ideal for a spontaneous stop or as a meeting point. It’s neither tucked away nor overly exposed — just the right balance. If I were visiting, I’d go especially on a bright day, take a seat where I can see and feel the light, order something simple and good, and sit back for a bit. It’s the kind of café that makes even a short stop feel a little moment of pause.

21/04/2026: There were about ten of us. Service was rushed. The main course was quite expensive; I was shocked that my Caesar salad cost €14 and had no chicken, just lettuce and croutons. I had to order chicken as an extra 🙄 My colleagues' burgers looked good. Not a place to avoid, but not exactly thrilled either 🤷🏻‍♀️

19/04/2026: The best elephant and castle in town. All you can eat wings Wednesday is not a bad idea but not a true representation of their chicken wings. I felt because they do big quantities that the quality was slightly below my expectation but any other day they are just gorgeous.

07/11/2025: Great to see some Asian options in Blanch village. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pastries and sweet treats looked delicious. The outdoor dining area is very well done.

28/10/2025: 4 of 6 of us had the fine oppotunity of expericencing food poisoning after having the ube chiffon swiss roll and pistachios cake.
