The best restaurants in Dublin

10/08/2026: If you’re hungry, do yourself a favor: DO NOT ORDER FROM Wasabi Grill unless you’re planning to have your meal tomorrow. I placed my order at 10:13 PM. It is now 12:13 AM TWO HOURS later!!!! and I’m still waiting for my food. Let’s be realistic: it does not take two hours to prepare a steak, rice and beans. This isn’t fine dining, and I certainly didn’t order a five-course tasting menu prepared by a Michelin-starred chef. Waiting two hours for a simple meal is completely unacceptable. This is NOT the first time this has happened. I should have learned my lesson by now, but I gave Wasabi Grill another chance. That was my mistake. However, the biggest mistake is still theirs: taking orders they clearly cannot handle, giving customers no proper updates, and leaving people waiting for hours as if their time doesn’t matter. Being busy is understandable. Making customers wait TWO HOURS without properly communicating what is happening is not. People order food because they are hungry. If your kitchen and delivery operation cannot handle the orders you accept, then stop taking them. It’s that simple. At this point, I’m not even sure if I’m waiting for dinner or breakfast. Maybe by the time it arrives, I’ll just call it tomorrow’s lunch. Absolutely disrespectful to customers and completely unacceptable service. Wasabi Grill Dublin, if it takes you two hours to make a steak, rice and beans, you seriously need to rethink how you’re running your operation. Never again.

03/07/2026: A really cool bar where you can easily strike up a conversation and have fun. A very open and fun crowd, friendly and attentive staff. We had a great time. Reasonable drink prices.

02/06/2026: We had a truly lovely stay! Everything was impeccable, from the warm welcome at reception to the delicious breakfast each morning. It is difficult to highlight just one aspect when everything was outstanding, but Emerson, Giuliana, and the entire staff deserve special recognition. They were always kind, attentive, efficient, and eager to help, making our experience even more memorable. We will definitely be back and will gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality!

02/08/2026: This place is a hidden gem! Neopolitan style with the perfectly charred crust. The sauce was very tasty, cup pepperoni slices that were exceptional fresh great tasting mozzarella. It was ordered freshly prepared and served in 10 minutes. Off the beater path, but worth the visit! Highly recommend!!

08/08/2026: Really enjoyed the food, and the ube latte was the highlight. It tasted incredibly authentic, almost exactly like the real thing back home in the Philippines. The ube cheesecake was also wonderfully decadent. Definitely worth trying!

11/07/2026: Had a pretty terrible experience here for dinner. We had booked a table for 9:00pm. Things seemed fine at first, apart from some confusion when taking our drinks order, but that wasn't a major issue. It then took around 20–25 minutes before anyone came to take our food order. We ordered three starters, three pasta mains and two pizzas. After several reminders, the starters didn't arrive until around 10:15pm. This was particularly surprising given that one starter was ham and melon and another was a simple bruschetta. To make matters worse, the starters all arrived at different times. When our empty starter plates were eventually cleared, we ordered a glass of red wine, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive. The three pasta dishes also arrived separately. About five minutes after the pasta started coming out, we were told the pizzas would be another five minutes. Throughout the evening, we watched several tables who had arrived after us receive both their starters and mains before we did. At that point, we decided to cancel the pizzas as the wait had become unreasonable. We received an insincere apology from the owner, Sylvia, who blamed the delays on the restaurant having two kitchens. However, this explanation didn't make much sense given that other tables were being served promptly throughout the evening. It's a real shame because the food we did receive was good. Unfortunately, the service and the way the situation was handled completely overshadowed the meal.

07/08/2026: Dropped in for the brunch menu a few weeks ago. There were no other customers in the pub at the time but still took abofive minutes to get seated and another five waiting on menus. We ordered three brunches, smash burger, French toast with crispy bacon and a bagel of some sort with crispy bacon. The smash burger was fine, but the French toast was cold and the crispy bacon was anything but. It looked like a packet of thin sliced boiled ham, full of fat. This had to be picked out of the bagel because of the fat. Overall pretty disgusting food. Also, ordered coffee and by the time milk was brought out, the coffee was cold.

13/07/2026: The smokiest pub in all of Dublin! No matter where you sit, the tobacco smoke and vape clouds waft in through every window and door. They might as well just alliw the whole place to light up. Unbearable!!
