14/11/2025: Lovely food. Great servings and fast delivery. The staff are so nice and love a good chat. Everyone waving to the managers as they pass by. It feels like a community. I recommend the mocha! There are vegan options also. Such a cute aesthetic too.

03/03/2026: Hands down, one of the best meals I've had in Ireland! The food here is unexplainably amazing. What really makes this place special is the staff. Brenda and Atish are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. This is such a damn good spot. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go, you won't regret it! Highly recommend to everyone.

02/03/2026: Wow! What a night!! We celebrated my boyfriends 30th birthday at McGowan's. The staff were so good all night, and the atmosphere was electric. I was also there recently for the Six Nations so it's slowing turning into my new local. The food is unreal!

24/11/2025: First time we have stayed at this hotel and as first impressions go , outstanding from check in , to the rooms to the bar staff everything was outstanding, rooms of a lovely size, bed super comfortable, tea coffee making , a safe in the room, the barman sami was super friendly and chatty, which is want you what, reception friendly and welcoming, we will have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

07/03/2026: I was outside the pub with friends and went inside just to buy drinks and food, something I have done many times before since I’m a regular customer. However, today (March 7th around 5:40 pm) the security guard refused to let me in. He assumed that I wanted to use the bathroom, which was not the case at all. I never even mentioned the bathroom I simply wanted to go in to buy a drink and some food. The way I was treated made me feel embarrassed and humiliated, especially because I come to this pub quite often. I have always had a good impression of the place, but this situation was very disappointing. I hope management reviews how customers are treated in situations like this.

07/03/2026: On Friday evening, we walked into McCafferty's without a reservation, expecting it to be full. To our surprise, they managed to find us a table, which immediately made a great first impression. The pub exudes exactly the atmosphere you'd hope for in an Irish pub: warm, cozy, and lively without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. We had a delicious meal there, and the value for money was excellent. Just honest pub food, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. All in all, it was a very successful evening for us. It's a place where you immediately feel welcome, and one we'd definitely return to on our next visit to Dublin.

02/11/2025: We celebrated a birthday here, and the experience was exceptional. As someone who usually dines at the top Indian spots in Dublin, I was genuinely blown away this place deserves far more recognition. For starters, we had the lamb seekh and paneer tikka. The lamb could’ve been slightly softer, but still tasted great. The paneer tikka, with its thin layer of chutney, was a standout a small touch that made it perfect. For mains, we ordered chicken biryani and Kadhai Paneer. Both were excellent, but the Kadhai Paneer truly stole the show, it transported me straight back to the best dhabas of Punjab, full of nostalgic flavours. To top it off, the staff surprised us with a birthday candle on dessert and were warm and attentive all evening. I’ll definitely be back for more.

01/11/2025: I went with 5 people and waited for like an hour for the food. Though Food was ok, but the service and staff was very rude and giving cold reception. It was little disappointment because the marketing in social sites are to big and flashy but in real its not worth to pay for unwelcoming vibe.

31/12/2025: There was actually no place left to eat... the owner? A really nice man, who said if we wait two minutes, we'll know if anyone has canceled! And they did! We were led to a great spot in the busy restaurant. The woman serving us was Michelle, what a cheerful and sweet person! Full of energy! The food was absolutely perfect!!! The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce was just like in Italy 🇮🇹. Not to mention the pizza!!! I've never had such a delicious meal anywhere ❤️ When we're back in Dublin, we'll definitely pop in here again!

20/03/2026: This has been consistently the worst food in the area . I keep making the mistake after 20+ years of trying again to come here for food . Leaving a gap of a couple of years each time - Never again . I just had a Veg stir fry at Cumiskys . And we all know how simple it is to make a veg stir fry right !? What I had a couple of hours ago was a disgrace . The rice was hard and the veg was horrible . Chewy broccoli that was obviously re heated and ultimately unsatisfactory. It was just crap . The price ! €17 €22 with chicken !!!! Crazy . The lady serving me was lovely . All the staff are really nice . But this food just always lets the place down . I’m done . There are plenty of options in the area that are much better quality . Oh and when I pointed out how bad the veg was - ( and it was all on the plate to see ) the chef said - that’s how we do veg here at Cumiskys ! Well good luck with that . I hope this helps any visitors to the area .
