22/08/2026: Michelle and Gavin and the entire kind staff got on board with our “Orange” themed 60th party we wanted that the table flowers were orange and in abundance, the dishes had orange nasturtiums decorating the plates, the desert was orange posset. There were even loose oranges on the table - talk about going above and beyond. I left it to the professionals and boy did they deliver. Food was incredible, the staff were so helpful and kind too. We had the best night, the birthday girl felt special. If ever you are planning a special night- it was like an event planner took over and relieved me of the stress of organizing. Thankyou Michelle. 31/08/2026: After visiting the distillery, we desperately needed to eat. We got a table for 90 minutes – everything was reserved. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly.

10/08/2026: This was my first ever holiday overseas and the staff at copper grove were so nice and welcoming stayed two nights and the room was fantastic and very good value too! Had a ln amazing meal in the restaurant as well and it was delicious and the staff were brilliant! Would visit again! Ireland rocks! 👍

18/08/2026: We had a really great experience here. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The service was quick and everything was handled professionally. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented, and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The place felt warm and comfortable, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Overall, excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend this restaurant and come back again.

10/06/2026: Room are beautiful; but its the staff that make it the most loveliest place to stay. So welcoming and down to earth, they couldn't have been nicer, well done 👏. Food was beautiful, just such a lovely atmosphere, loved The Mills Inn, one of the best places to stay.

15/09/2026: We sat up at the bar and had a very memorable evening. The food was delicious and the wines by the glass selection was extensive and generous. Strongly recommend.

10/09/2026: This restaurant scores way above what you would expect. Their tapas like food is fantastic and the staff and the owner are super friendly. Try anybody their dishes but especially their mushroom dish.

11/09/2026: The seafood chowder was good, very generous with the prawns and mussels. But not quite as good as some of the more “fish” heavy chowders we’ve tried elsewhere. The wild mushroom rigatoni and chicken were quite tasty. The scampi was good. The portions in all instances were very generous. Overall a nice experience. The fly that kept landing on the table was kind of friendly. There are a lot of flies around these days. Food only served 12-4pm. No dinner.

08/09/2026: Spent little over a week in Ireland traveling around County Cork and this was the best restaurant I visited. Fish and chips, chowder, steak sandwich, and the sticky toffee pudding were to die for; highly recommend!

04/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in a beautiful building. The chicken supreme was the most delicious I’ve had in a long time, and the dessert was excellent as well. Despite the place being fully packed, the food arrived very quickly. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The waiter deserves special praise — very polite and gave great food recommendations. Highly recommend.

02/08/2026: Gorgeous conversion of an old church. The food and service are quality and it shows by always being busy. Highly recommend this place if you're in Skibb.

21/08/2026: A very traditional, cozy, and rustic pub. The decor and countless photos on the walls tell a fascinating story. Many great live music evenings throughout the month (see the website for the schedule). During our visit, several guests joined in the music and sang along enthusiastically. A fantastic atmosphere. There's also a beer garden when the weather is nice!

03/08/2026: I don’t usually go into pubs to be lectured about contentious political issues happening 10,000km away… Our politicians are already doing a fantastic job of that! When I go into a pub, I usually just want to be served a drink. As a regular visitor to Clonakilty, for this reason alone, I will never return to De Barras. Also, the male staff here over the long weekend were absolutely tragic and a total let down. Seemed as though they were incapable of serving the male gender for some weird reason. One drink and done, never again 👋
