27/09/2026: βMonkβs Lane is easily my favourite place to eat. The food is consistently good, using fresh local produce, and the drinks list is excellent. Between the relaxed atmosphere, the lovely garden out back, and the genuinely welcoming team, it always makes for a great evening out.

20/10/2026: Grilled Hake dish was exceptional. The bread was the best we've run across. Everyone liked their meal so well they didn't share, so I think that tells you how it was. Very popular/busy, a bit loud, definitely need a reservation. Looking forward to returning on our next trip to Kinsale.
18/10/2026: The oysters were amazing! Lamb and short ribs delicious. Service delightful. Value on point. Highly recommend.

Small restaurant, so I would book in advance.
A nice selection of whiskeys (could/should be more due to its proximity to the nearby distillery).
I thought it would be a lot more expensive than it was.
09/10/2026: My favourite place to eat in midleton. They always have your dinner nicely presented and I always leave full. All the staff are great, very friendly, helpful and would do anything for you while your with them.

06/10/2026: This place has earned their stars! Food was excellent, fresh and real. Awesome to see a family making it work together. The Thai Curry was better than pretty much any Thai restaurant that I've experienced in Southern California, and I have tried a lot.
15/08/2026: Great discovery. Gorgeous restaurant with really good menu. Seafood green curry was a knockout. Four of us went and were really impressed.

01/10/2026: The experience we had was unbelievable. They brought us through a journey of wine and food that was unmatched. We will often now pause and think what an amazingly experience we had. The wine list was top notch. The food was unique and premium. Donβt know what else to say.

11/09/2026: The seafood chowder was good, very generous with the prawns and mussels. But not quite as good as some of the more βfishβ heavy chowders weβve tried elsewhere. The wild mushroom rigatoni and chicken were quite tasty. The scampi was good. The portions in all instances were very generous.
Overall a nice experience.
The fly that kept landing on the table was kind of friendly. There are a lot of flies around these days.
Food only served 12-4pm. No dinner.

04/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in a beautiful building. The chicken supreme was the most delicious Iβve had in a long time, and the dessert was excellent as well. Despite the place being fully packed, the food arrived very quickly. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The waiter deserves special praise β very polite and gave great food recommendations. Highly recommend.
02/08/2026: Gorgeous conversion of an old church. The food and service are quality and it shows by always being busy. Highly recommend this place if you're in Skibb.
