22/07/2026: As a coeliac who gets so anxious eating out, the staff were so kind after asking for reassurance regarding their gluten free bread. It’s really really good! The food was incredible and the view was beautiful. Thanks for a lovely evening.

17/07/2026: Who knew? Can't fathom why I have not discovered this gem before now. We arrived for a play in the Community Hall and stumbled on Monk's Lane. They were happy we only wanted a small bite in the heat and short time we had. Super starters, all to be recommended. The cappuccino was lovely too. Check out the beer garden, it has the most fabulous flower garden and nooks and crannies to enjoy.🌻 We plan to return for the full experience! 😋

09/08/2026: We visited on Thursday with our three young kids. We sat outside the back in a lovely area. We were so impressed with the quality of service from the young waitress we had…the best service we have had in years. Our food was really quick which is a major advantage with young kids. The quality was amazing. So tasty. We loved it so much I sent my folks the following night and they had an equally brilliant experience!

10/08/2026: This was my first ever holiday overseas and the staff at copper grove were so nice and welcoming stayed two nights and the room was fantastic and very good value too!
Had a ln amazing meal in the restaurant as well and it was delicious and the staff were brilliant! Would visit again! Ireland rocks! 👍

04/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in a beautiful building. The chicken supreme was the most delicious I’ve had in a long time, and the dessert was excellent as well. Despite the place being fully packed, the food arrived very quickly. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The waiter deserves special praise — very polite and gave great food recommendations. Highly recommend.

18/08/2026: The food here was fantastic! The potato cakes, beef & Beamish stew and beer battered fish were all top quality. The fish pie was really good once you added a squeeze of lemon juice but I would go back for the other three dishes. Great Guinness too.

11/08/2026: Excellent. Highly recommended. Small alcoves for dining. Suitable even with young children. Budget-friendly. Very friendly waitress.
P.S.: Don't park in the church parking lot... The gate is locked with padlocks at 6:30 pm... 😉 Unless you know the priest.
