Reel Dingle Fish
An daingean
08/08/2025: I was a bit disappointed. I really wanted to love the fish and chips there as it was supposed to be the best in Ireland, but the batter wasn't exceptional and not crispy at all. They were also out of smoked haddock and other types of fish.
It was still an excellent and fresh fish, hence the four stars.
05/08/2025: Nice little fish shop, a classic fish shop. The fish was fantastic, but the chips could have been a bit crispier for our taste. The tartar sauce was delicious, and the young employee was very friendly.

The Fish Box
An daingean
25/07/2025: This restaurant is GREAT! It was recommended by a number of independent people and it really lived up to expectations. It is a casual place and does not take reservations. I stopped by to look at a menu, and when I inquired about GF options they informed me they were able to prepare GF fish & chips, the only time I was able to have them in the UK. Delicious! We arrived for an early dinner and had no trouble getting a table. Fantastic place for fresh fish in Dingle.
22/07/2025: Great food, great service, we will be back. Had lovely fish and chips with curry sauce, wife had GF fish and chips, kids had fish gougons and chips.
All were very happy with the service, the food and the pricing.

Lord Baker's
An daingean
31/07/2025: Delicious and beautifully presented dishes in the most inviting environment. We felt at home here, partially thanks to the strong bonds between all who worked that night. We felt the connections and partnerships deploy. It was beautiful to witness.
I had today's catch, which was a hake served on a bed of zucchini-wrapped tender leeks. This unique side made the dish even more memorable. It was such a surprise to dig in and explore a combination of flavors that I would never have considered.
22/07/2025: We had an amazing meal at Lord Baker’s. Johnathan happily made our reservation in advance and then treated us like gold when we arrived. He was our server and took care of us. The lobster was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Dingle.

Marina Inn
An daingean
23/08/2025: The food is actually really good, but way
too spicy!!!
I had noodles first, but then had to replace the curry for my girlfriend because she can't stand spicy food.
The service is terrible. After they brought us an extremely spicy curry, it took an extremely long time to bring bread or something to soften the flavor.
Note: There was no mention of "spicy" on the menu!!!
They then gave me a sauce that the waiter told me to eat. It was mayonnaise, so the spicy feeling after a spoonful of mayonnaise was mixed with nausea.
The bread then arrived what felt like 10 minutes after that, and the waiter had forgotten to bring it three times, basically too late.
Then, when I paid, my cash was refused because it was "too big," and my girlfriend had to go and get her money from our car.
After the meal, I had a queasy, tingling feeling as I left.
At least they gave us the bread, and the water was free, too.
18/08/2025: Lovely, cozy pub with some of the best food I’ve ever had. Got the mussels in the white garlic sauce and they were divine!!!

Ashes
An daingean
18/08/2025: So sadly we were there on a Sunday and Monday, so we didn't get to have the food. But staying in the accommodations was great. Prefect location, you can easily hear music from at least 2 Pubs a night and great for people watching when the Pubs close. Wish we could have tried the food since everyone had really good things to say about it. Next time!
16/08/2025: We tried to get a reservation with no luck. We showed up early and they gave us a table for one hour. The service, food and drinks were top notch. We had appetizers to share, as we had eaten a late lunch. We shared the fried goat cheese with beet purée, blue cheese, pear and pecan salad and the seafood chowder. They gave us bread which appeared to be homemade. Goodness everything was amazing. The chowder was the best we’ve had and the goat cheese is what dreams are made of. Get a reservation and go hungry.

17/08/2025: Another brilliant early menu meal at the Land to Sea - fabulous food, great service and great value / forgot to take photos of mains - we had steak, pork and hake - all fabulous
15/08/2025: 5 of us had the early bird menu here- can’t fault the food at all! It’s just lovely food, beautifully presented in a lovely environment.
I highly recommend.
A zero beer or other zero option would be nice.

Harringtons
An daingean
31/07/2025: A restaurant right on the waterfront in Dingle. We tried the traditional fish and chips, about €17 for a VERY generous portion. Truly delicious: the fish, incredibly fresh, melts in your mouth, and the breading is wonderfully crispy, all served on a bed of chips. Highly recommended!
25/07/2025: Expensive food which was underwhelming. Some chips okay, others terrible. Chicken almost certainly frozen and strangely chewy.
Seats were very recently cleaned and soaking wet. I was not told so. I and most of my belongings got wet.
Staff attempted to be helpful in a personal matter. Their hands were tied by a woman who I can only assume to be the manager.
The woman was overly aggressive and her reasons for refusing to help nonsensical. She appeared to be drunk on her great authority. She runs a chip shop; a bad one.

Dingle Pub
An daingean
27/04/2025: We decided we would like a bit of “irish” food, so decided to try the Dingle Pub. Everything was great!! We had a good yummy Shepherds Pie. Friendly staff and food service.
21/04/2025: The food was good and the atmosphere was incredible! The live, traditional music and dancer were a highlight of our entire 8-day trip!! We caught the music/dancing around 4pm. Do not miss this special experience if you spend any time in Dingle. Service was great at this family-owned pub.

Paul Geaney's Bar
An daingean
14/08/2025: Alot going on and crowded. Otherwise, great pints
12/08/2025: I didn't come for food only drink. I believe if I were a local this is a pub I would attend more frequently. This is just salt of the Earth. No gimmicks nothing to bring you in but a warm atmosphere and great staff. Excellent pour of Guinness and I strongly recommend the Dingle whiskey.

The Boatyard Restaurant
An daingean
15/08/2025: The treatment we were given as soon as we entered the restaurant was extremely disappointing and actually quite disgusting! We were a large group, I had booked the reservation months ago and because I was 15 mins early (to a mostly empty restaurant at 4:45) I was told I’d have to wait for seating and the man at the front desk was extremely rude because I had arrived early! I have never encountered such rude and disrespectful behaviour from restaurant staff in my life!! My sister and her friend had to stand for 10 minutes even though there was a room full of free tables and seats. The male waiter did not seem to care! Then he continued to tell an elderly couple to get up off their seats and finish their drinks. He could have easily taken chairs from the mostly empty dining hall!! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! What kind of treatment is this for customers? I’ve been to the other restaurants in Dingle as I live in the area, and I know for a fact none of them would ever dare to treat customers in such a disgusting way. We asked to change the waiter after this and luckily we had a wonderful older women and she was incredible to us! Thank god the restaurant has a women like her! Otherwise I’m sure it would have been shut down a long time ago! Everything was going fine until we went to pay the bill. The “manager” tried over charging us and blamed people that had already payed and gotten receipts on not having paid. It was a huge issue for her to realise that she was in fact wrong! I could not believe her attitude to lie about people having not paid, that had clearly paid. Even that they had receipts to prove it. She did not even say sorry. When we made comments about the rude behaviour of both the male staff at the entrance and her behaviour she said “write whatever review you want, we have the Americans coming anyway!” … utterly shocking experience. I have never encountered such a horrible dining experience in Ireland. Even another member of staff followed me to the toilet to privately apologise to me for the treatment of other staff members. Stay clear of this restaurant. There are many more deserving restaurants in Dingle that provide fantastic service and food! The Boatyard is definitely not one of them!
10/08/2025: Edited to answer the restaurant's reply: we did have funds, first the waitress said she needed a physical card and we only had our mobile phone because we used it in EVERY establishment without any problems, my husband went out in the rain and went to get it, when he came back the same waitress said the revolut card wasn't accepted, we asked for an ATM to withdraw the money and we used THE SAME card for that, so money on the bill wasn't the problem. The food wasn't great, super small portions for extortionate prices, it's a real tourist trap. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
"Bad. They don't accept payment by revolut card and they don't put up a sign to warn you. We had to leave the restaurant to withdraw money in a heavy rain"
