03/11/2024: After convincing my husband to try tapas unfortunately we were very disappointed although the 2 'med' bits were tasty they were way over priced!! We also ordered the fish stew 'large' this was very disappointing! Fish was over cooked! Over all quantity and quality are definitely not worth the prices here! We felt ripped off😥
30/10/2024: We randomly stopped by at 530 looking for a table for 2 and they squeezed us in. Amazing atmosphere, superb food, great service. If I had to eat just one meal for the rest of my life their croquettes would be my choice —- they were so delicious

02/11/2024: Best chipper I encountered in Ireland. The cod and chips were amazing. The homemade tartar was a perfect companion with the meal. This is a must if you are in the area.

30/10/2024: Really great place, went there for my birthday and brilliant food… softest juiciest pork I’ve eaten for a long time! The croquettes were really creamy and the monkfish starter was delicious. Hake was really nicely cooked too. Nice flavour combinations on all dishes. The deserts were lovely as well! There were somethings I had never seen before but they tasted great! The staff were lovely. My dad really liked the bread they served before the starters and had been looking for a recipe for similar bread for ages and he asked them and the chef came out and gave him the recipe! Very nice of him. Overall, really good food!

01/11/2024: We had one of the best meals of our recent UK/Ireland/ European trip at Fentons in Dingle. Wonderful service and the food and wine options were superb. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and the staff were friendly and attentive.

01/11/2024: A medium rare 8 oz steak sandwich cooked perfectly and present by friendly and accommodating staff.Really good value too at €23.00
04/10/2024: We had the “Soup of day” and a very good Fish and Ships. The servers were very friendly.
We liked the decor.
They have two local beers, an IPA and an Ale which are very good.
We don't regret our dinner.

09/11/2024: A very nice bar and restaurant in a great location in Dingle. I had the Roast Beef Striploin and had the Beef Burger. Food and drinks were lovely, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
04/11/2024: DO NOT eat here. The seafood chowder sent my husband into the hospital with severe food poisoning. The pizza was thin crust & tasted worse than a grocery microwave pizza. 0/5 stars for sure!!

The Boatyard Restaurant

10/11/2024: Disappointed with the quality of the food. Priced relatively high, the quality was poor. My wife had seafood mix. Crab claws were tasteless and not fresh. Only the battered fish was up to standard. Staff were very nice, so a pity the food standard was low.
27/10/2024: This was a very odd dining experience. We were left standing at the front door for a few minutes without any acknowledgment from restaurant staff. The manageress was cold and not very welcoming and when she checked us in, she pointed in the direction of our table and didn’t show us to our seat.
The only other poor server on duty was under so much pressure trying to deal with a full restaurant, she was working very hard and seemed to be taking all of the slack. The waitress behind the bar was abrupt and seemed totally fed up. Food was ok but nothing special unfortunately. The restaurant has so much potential, it’s in a prime location and will get the tourists regardless but really needs to take a look at what’s not working as plenty of reviews prior to this one call out the same issues.
