03/02/2025: Me and my family have been coming here for years since we were only children. Celebrated my mother’s birthday lunch today and it was splendid food and service as always. Didn’t finish my capricciosa pizza but I will say it was sublime 👨🍳👌
They also have a delivery robot which can also sing happy birthday😂
I’ll always highly recommend Nevins as a venue for celebration or just as a dine in. Thanks to all the staff for the brilliant food and service!
15/01/2025: A wonderful family meal in the spacious restaurant this time, following on from a great experience previously in the lounge area. Ample parking just across the road.

28/12/2024: The pizza here is grand, but the prices and false advertising leave a bad taste.
Ordered three pizzas over the phone tonight, only to be charged 33% more than is shown on the online menu at collection.
Over €60 for three pizzas is ridiculous. You wouldn’t pay that in NYC, London, or Paris.
Shocking stuff really. I wouldn’t have placed the order if the real prices were displayed.
I just paid out of courtesy but in hindsight I should have said something.
It’s very bad form, and from reading the other reviews seems to be common practice.
28/12/2024: Can’t get over the prices of pizzas in this place! We ordered 3 pizzas over the phone, which we ordered off their menu online. When we went in to collect the pizzas we were charged 33% more than what was said on their website. We were charged €60 for 3 pizzas! Absolute rip off and would not have ordered them if the menu had the current pricing on it. You should really update your website to have the current pricing list of your food. Can’t justify the prices for what you get and have never seen pricing as bad as that (even in big cities), will not be back unfortunately.

25/09/2024: A cute little bakery with delicious home-baked delicacies. We ordered apple pie and a chocolate cake. Both were super tasty. For our way home we took a chocolate cookie with us, which was also incredibly tasty.
Mary is very nice, a warm welcome as soon as you enter the shop.
Clear recommendation to anyone visiting Ballycastle.

17/01/2025: Dropped in for couple drinks , lovely atmosphere & nice staff so came back the next night for dinner & it didn’t disappoint.
14/01/2025: Lovely venue serving quite good quality food. Service was very good although I suggest making their own apple pie instead of serving a pre made one from a factory. That got sent back! Overall it is definitely worth a visit.

08/07/2024: Was brought to Susie’s Bistro in Tubbercurry Golf Course for a Sunday luncheon with a friend, and from start to finish, you couldn’t find fault with the service or the food.
Would definitely recommend Susie’s Bistro for any occasion as it’s 5 star service.
The roast beef is simply delicious 😋

I was there at Halloween and wow amazing again today for Valentines weekend such warmth open fire decor amazing. Food fab and very reasonable. Staff really friendly. Keep up the good work you are defo doing everything right.
10/02/2025: Nice food but should include more balanced protein rich vegetarian meal. I am a vegetarian and try to take a certain amount of protein every dayI asked the chef to give me an omelette but he said its not possible . Get something from the menu. Only vegetarian available option was a salad and bre . I got the bre it was good but normally I try to avoid deep fried food

24/12/2024: A very enjoyable 2 rounds of golf in Carne. Really impressive links course in Belmullet which ticks all the boxes, scenery, golf, hospilitality and value. 2 great (but tough) rounds of golf but each hole holds a different view. Each one has a charm of its own and would be very tough if the winds were any stronger. Fabulous fairways, greens and tee boxes and a pleasure to play.
