Doyle's Seafood Bar
An daingean
01/07/2026: This was the best meal myself and my partner have ever had, and we live in Australia. It was phenomenal. Even down to the olives, beautiful. Could not recommend more.
The only 'fault' i have is serving chips and mash with a steak, i would have rathered one or the other and a portion of veg. A good complaint albeit!!!
28/06/2026: We walked in without a reservation and were very lucky to get a table straight away without having to wait.
We ordered four freshly shucked oysters, one grilled oyster, and the spicy seafood linguine. The sauce for the linguine was incredibly rich and full of seafood flavor—it was so good that after finishing the pasta, I asked for a couple of slices of bread just to soak up every last bit of the sauce.
The seafood linguine was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. All of the seafood tasted exceptionally fresh, and the portion was quite generous. It would easily be enough for two people to share if you're ordering a few other dishes as well.

Out of the Blue
An daingean
20/05/2026: I had read about this restaurant prior to our trip ti Ireland and knew I had to dine here! I did book 4 month in advance and so glad I did. The seafood was outstanding. The menu changes based on the seafood caught. They bring the billboard to your table and place on a chair for you to choose from. Service is wonderful and you are able to sit and enjoy your dinner. A must stop in Dingle!
17/05/2026: Finally, a restaurant near the sea that serves fresh fish! The setting is pleasant, and the staff is welcoming and attentive.
The cuisine is refined; the fish (scorpionfish and halibut) are of extraordinary quality, and their cooking is precise and excellent.
The famous "bouille à baisse" is a remarkable nod to French cuisine.
The starters and main courses are generous... too much to even try the dessert menu!
But the Irish Coffee was still the perfect ending to this delicious meal.
We had a very pleasant evening at Out of the Blue. The atmosphere was pleasant and warm, allowing us to chat about Ireland with our two table neighbors.

Reel Dingle Fish
An daingean
05/07/2026: Reel Dingle Fish is one hell of a chipper. Declan is a great guy and makes some fantastic and fresh fish n chips. I’m glad to have had a chat and a bit of craic about our mutual love for New Jersey. Also best curry chips in town!
04/07/2026: The best fish and chips I've ever had.

Fenton's Of Dingle
An daingean
18/07/2026: Amazing service, fantastic food. Probably the best dinner I had in Ireland over a two week road trip. Great work staff, chefs, bar and crew.
16/07/2026: Fenton's of Dingle was a bit of an uphill climb, but we had a delicious meal; my dining companion had the goat cheese sourced from a local farm. The goat cheese was whipped with hazelnut crumbs and served with gluten-free toast. It came with a delicious salad, also from a local grower. I had the vegetarian hummus/falafel platter, which arrived at the table with homemade scones. What a feast this was! It was remarkable how gluten-free options were offered as a matter of course.

John Benny's Pub
An daingean
18/05/2026: I had a wonderful meal at this quaint pub located right on the Dingle seafront. I ordered a truly spectacular fish chowder, accompanied by an excellent, expertly poured Guinness. The interior is decorated in traditional Irish style, warm and welcoming. The service was also noteworthy, really fast and efficient despite the place being packed. Highly recommended.
17/05/2026: Excellent Irish restaurant in the lovely town of Dingle. The food is superb, and the staff is welcoming. A must-try!

Foxy John's
An daingean
06/07/2026: Extremely rude bar staff, I would really not recommend this pub. There are many pubs in dingle offering a far better and friendlier experience. I would recommend avoiding this place as a tourist. The bar man with grey hair was particularly rude - they really need to look at this.
06/07/2026: We went into this place tonight and was met with an extremely unfriendly atmosphere. We were shouted at to 'get out' by some girls at the bar and also greeted by a very rude bar man. They shouted that they were closed, which wasn't the issue, but how rude they were was. They were all snickering and laughing whilst being rude. Avoid this place!

Dingle Ahoy
An daingean
24/05/2026: Delicious fish n chips and they had Fanta!
24/05/2026: €5 for “homemade” chips that were obviously frozen. Completely misleading and poor value for money. There was no real service either – everything was ordered and paid for on a screen, and the owner didn’t even bother to say hello. Very disappointing experience and not somewhere I’d recommend.

Lord Baker's
An daingean
04/07/2026: We waited 40 minutes and weren't served… A shame, because the atmosphere was lovely. Luckily, there was bread and water on the table. Even if it was only two glasses for four people…
PS: The bread was delicious…
28/06/2026: After spending nearly 30 minutes walking around rainy Dingle trying to find somewhere to eat, we were honestly starting to lose hope. A few places we walked into didn’t feel very welcoming, but the moment we stepped into Lord Baker’s, everything changed. We were greeted with the biggest smiles, warmly welcomed in, and the menu was explained so kindly. It genuinely felt less like walking into a restaurant and more like walking into someone’s home. The atmosphere was cosy, relaxed, and exactly what we needed after exploring Dingle in the rain. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better. Every member of staff made us feel looked after from start to finish. Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our day. We’d come back in a heartbeat. 10/10 – if you’re in Dingle, don’t miss this place!

Bob Griffin's Bar
An daingean
31/12/2025: My husband and I were looking for a spot to host loved ones the day after our wedding. As Americans relatively unfamiliar to the best local spots in Dingle, our wedding planner swiftly recommended Bob Griffin’s. We were floored by fact that there was no up front cost required to reserve an area for our group. (Though we were happy to purchase our fair share of beverages from the bar upon arrival.) Bob Griffin’s was exactly where we wanted to be after an eventful wedding day: a cozy, welcoming, unpretentious bar to hang out and reminisce. We know where we’ll be for another pint the next time we’re in Dingle!
