10/04/2025: Unfortunately they donβt serve waffles anymore at all. Which is why we went there. But the scones and other food are good. I do wish A Lot that they served waffles even one day a week as I have not found anywhere in Ireland that serves decent American style waffles

The drink ordered was not avsilable. The drink ordered instead was served in a puluted glass. New drink was given. The pizza served was terrable. Some unidentified sause and badly baked. The super salad was in fact cabage.

21/04/2025: Very good food and great staff! I came here by myself after work and the staff were very friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. I was sat at one of the tables at the bar and I had the chicken burger which was delicious. The girls constantly tended to me and chatted to me in their free time. The other customers were also very chatty and made my day.

19/05/2025: Super clean hotel, located on the Shanon River, friendly staff, helpful and kind! But eating in the in-house restaurant is only for gourmets. We came on our tour from Bantry, unpacked and explored the town, were really hungry, went into the restaurant and were looking forward to the food, it was beautifully presented but we didn't get full, although the breakfast was great!!!

10/05/2025: Just had some coffee and chips, which were good, but the best was how Ian helped us get in touch with the owner of the airbnb we were going to stay in Clonakilty, when I couldn't get into the app. We were on vacation from Canada He went above and beyond to get us on a call with the owner and get the access code. saved our life! :)

06/05/2025: I've had the pleasure of working from this hotel's Sitting room on two separate occasions, and both times, the staff welcomed me with genuine kindness. Even when I offered to pay for the space or the 2 cup's of tea I had, they graciously refused. It's rare to find such generosity these days, and it speaks volumes about the values and spirit of this place. Whether you're staying overnight or just passing through, this hotel truly makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!
21/04/2025: A true hidden gem. Food is excellent with the depths of flavours you would expect from a Michelin star rated restaurant.
John and his team welcomed us warmly, and they were attentive throughout our stay.
