The best restaurants in Limerick

05/03/2025: Lovely restaurant. Just had cappuccino and croissant, but both were delicious. Friendly staff, lovely surroundings and good value. Will definitely go back, to try more from the menu.

27/02/2025: We visited at lunch time. The place is way too busy with one chef who is doing the cook and taking orders as well. We waited for 35 mins for our food to be cooked and served. However, it was a bit of disappointment. The egg noodles was way too salty, extremely salty which I had to throw away, I couldn’t handle this much. But the salt and chilli chicken wings are class, they are very tasty and crunchy. I hope next visit will be better than my previous one

17/03/2025: The food was good, hot, fresh & tasty. The service did lack a little. We were told when we were lead to a table that they needed the table back within an hour and a half, which was ample but by the time our order was taken and the food came out 45 mins had already passed, so it didn't leave too long if you wanted to be comfortable. We noticed two other tables that came in about ten mins after us got their food well before ours came out. My wife was offered extra veg but she had the dinner eaten by the time the veg came out. Although all the tables had reserved signs on them it wasn't actually very busy while we were there. The place is clean and tidy and does offer good food. I can imagine the place is pretty well run and we were still relatively happy with it but the service could be improved a bit. We understand that hospitality is tough business at the moment but we didn't really appreciate the limited time on the table kind of thing for a gastro pub. An hour and a half would have been plenty if the food didn't take as long to come out.

20/03/2025: 4th hotel in this price range for us travelling around southern Eire and this was far superior. Big room, comfortable king bed, nice shower instead of grotty tub, Nespresso machine. Absolutely delicious Beef bourguignon and Risotto for dinner and excellent breakfast with a great view on the River. 5 stars for a 4 star hotel

03/03/2025: The food was really good and the service was quite exceptional. There were 16 of us seated together and the staff was able to keep up with all of our orders. The 3 meal course was priced just right as well. I had the Bang Bang Chicken for starters, the Hampton Burger as my main and since there were a bunch of us, we had the dessert as well and everything was perfect. Would definitely come back here when we visit Limerick again in the future.

16/02/2025: To celebrate Valentines in Hamptons was the best choice for myself and my girlfriend. From opening the front door you were stepping into a world of fine dining, impeccable customer service and a wonderful atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Greeted by Kuba, the restaurant manager with a quick witty sense of humor made both of us extremely comfortable, sat down by the pass in view of the chefs working tirelessly to make sure every single dish was presented to the highest standard. Our waitress Dania was absolutely wonderful, very soft spoken girl made sure to consistently check on us for drinks or food. On the pass we were met with Luke who was absolutely on point with his Duty of running the pass, never succumbing to the pressure. Luke took over for Dania as she retired from her duty on the floor, informed us extremely politely that Luke would resume or service, he even stayed on an extra hour to ensure we were looked after… that is Hospitality! The food? THE FOOD!!! The food was on point, so much so that it gave a Vegetarian an appetite. Absolutely stunning presentation, taste and smell. The view of the pass added to our experience. While waiting for my girlfriend to gather her belongings i went up to the bar to chat with the boys. Never met such a well tight bonded team behind the bar. The drinks were absolutely spectacular, even had the boys give me some advice on their expert knowledge of combinations of different cocktails. Goes to show that the Bartenders are experienced mixologists! Thanks to Davide & Desire!!! One negative thing about the drinks was the pint of Guinness, i was informed that they got all their pints from the Savoy bar… besides that hiccup all the positives outshined the negative. Every single staff member in the restaurant was happy, well in tune and on point with answers to every single question! It was an excellent experience for us to have a break away from reality, i would highly recommend Hamptons. You can tell that the managers & supervisors set an example for the staff, training, not afraid to work with the troops… even witnessed the management team cleaning a slight mess on the floor together. Other places you’d see a poor part time worker doing that! You can tell the restaurant staff are inspired from the top That’s the sign of a fantastic institution. Thank you to the Hamptons staff for making our evening very special! 10/10 would recommend to a friend or two!

16/03/2025: We just had the nicest experience in CoqBull Limerick. Our server Orleans was just fab. So kind, funny, and gave excellent food recommendations. I had the steak sandwich and my husband had the ceaser salad, we shared a brownie, and I had a Boujie Bitch cocktail. Beautiful. We always have a great experience and great food here but today, Orleans was such a light for us.

09/03/2025: The manager of this hotel should be absolutely ashamed of their self I witnessed a Member of staff and two security guards Denying young kids access to the playground When I say young kids I mean the oldest would have been 5 Absolutely appalling behaviour From the staff

07/03/2025: I cannot find anything to fault in this hotel. The rooms were warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent, beautifully served and reasonably priced. An added bonus is the local production on their own land of many food items. The facilities are second to none. Spa and thermal suite are partnered with both hair and nail salons. The pool area has a separate health suite and there is an excellent gym. The decor is rich, luxurious and romantic with an abundance of flowers and lights. The grounds are immaculately landscaped and there is a children's play area, a fairy trail and a small animal zoo. The hotel has an incredible record with sustainable practices. Above all the staff were outstanding in friendliness, courtesy and professionalism.
