The best restaurants in Limerick

11/09/2024: One of the screws in my bike were loose, and I asked them for a small 5c coin to screw it back in, and they agreed and went out of their way to look for a screwdriver for me. Will definitely be coming back and this time for coffee :)

20/03/2025: My 90 year old father and myself tried this place a couple of times and it is a busy restaurant. It is on the ground floor, however, it also has an elevated floor (I haven't been up there) accessible by stairs. Reasonably priced, and nice atmosphere. I have noticed that they can cater for big groups and parties. Coqbull is elderly &disabled friendly. Their menu caters for a variety of taste buds.

31/01/2025: Very tasty sandwich with a good coffee, but most notably, all for a price you simply do not find in modern Irish cafés. €7.50 for a sandwich is not a price point I've seen in years. So nice not to be gouged for a change.

23/01/2025: Excellent stay here this week. Fantastic value and a clean, modern and classy place. The staff are incredibly friendly and will go the extra mile to help you out with anything. Breakfast was also high quality and I even got a nice coffee on check out. I’d have no hesitations about staying here again.

11/01/2025: Really enjoyed our stay at the Bedford. What really stood out was the customer service. A phone call the day before to see if we needed info re parking, and the general welcome was memorable. The room was clean and thought went into it's design. Location ideal. Would definitely recommend.

21/03/2025: Seated as a walk in with no issues. Food is outstanding probably the best most reliable restaurant in Limerick no matter what you order. They also have beer on tap as well as an extensive cocktail menu.

16/03/2025: From start to finish, my stay was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and breakfast was a highlight especially the brown bread, which was the best I’ve ever had. I definitely would have eaten more if I could! The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows maybe even a few too many but overall, it made for a fantastic stay and a great night’s sleep. The space where we had dinner and the wedding was perfect spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our group. The staff were wonderful, and one particular server truly stood out. He was also at breakfast this morning and was an absolute asset to the hotel. His exceptional service made the entire experience even better. Unfortunately, he wasn’t wearing a name badge, so I didn’t catch his name, but he definitely deserves recognition! One negative I would have liked shower mat in the shower as it was quite slippery when standing in the shower.

06/03/2025: Staff working 19/02 were outstanding. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was exquisite and the attention to detail was very impressive. My partner and I were delighted with the cosy atmosphere, with elegant surroundings and relaxing music. We also had a wander around the gallery upstairs, worthy of a browse of you've got the time. We will be returning for sure. Also, vegetarian diet was accommodated for. Bravo :)

16/02/2025: Yes I was here manager is not a single bit polite rushing everything just to get charged 35 euro for a burger and sides that was not up to the price wouldn’t recommend everything was good untill the manager arrived and started yelling at some kids that were from the travler origin honestly a 40 year old man refusing some kids because of there race and then I see some African American people and the looks this guy was giveing them was not one bit right I think it might be a racial problem with the servis but the food was burnt and the glasses used for the drinks had a hair in it ❌ don’t make the mistake of comeing here honestly take your ur money somewhere els you could get far better food for your money and far far better servis

06/03/2025: TITLE: MAKE SURE PANCAKES ARE COOKED PROPERLY Honestly I'm reluctant to write this, because finding freshly made pancakes is rare enough. But it's actually difficult to cook a half centimeter thick pancake (I've tried). The pancakes/bacon meal featured 3/4 internally raw pancakes. They gave a discount of 5 euros, and were gracious about it, but my stomach was upset for a few days. (Yes I am the bigger fool for eating half of them, but I was hungry). Also asked for a toasted sandwich, but they're 'can't do it'. We chose the pulled bacon sandwich instead, which turned out to be plain shredded bacon on toast, so basically it was a toasted sandwich. And a perfectly good one. SIDE NOTE: Also my own fault, but why does the coffee ALWAYS have to arrive 10 minutes before the meal? Am I the only one who dislikes pancakes with cold coffee?
