The atmosphere is always welcoming, the food consistently excellent, and the staff are warm, attentive, and professional. 23/01/2026: Was here a year ago for a solo dinner. Had made a reservation. Food was nice. Waitress was a bit cold but did her job effectively. Then I had finished my first meal after 30 minutes of being seated (I had waited 15-20 minutes already and I'd arrived on time). The waitress then told me I had to leave, quite rudely and quite dismissively, because they had people waiting. There were tables with more people who had gotten there before me and were given a dessert menu. I have every reason to believe this was done because I was quiet and on my own. Although some other younger staff members were nice when I initally made the reservation, this waitress made me feel marginalised as a paying customer who made her reservation in advance like everyone else. If they booked too many tables or other tables stayed longer than planned, the staff should have had either had a table limit or rushed out people who were there for much longer than 30 minutes. She was visibly worried about what the other customers would say, but treated me like a marginalised person whose opinion was lesser. I don't want to have to never come back, the other staff were good and the food was delicious, it was just this one waitress. If I decide to come back this year and get treated this way or similar again, I will be making a complaint to a manager or higher up. I was worried to say something at the time, but I realise now that this behaviour was and is unacceptable.

12/12/2025: I cant believe that it was so bad here , it used to be fantastic staff, service was always second to none ,, but now i won't be recommending to eat here 12 euro for two eggs toast and tea, toast was cold and was let waiting for it , i can honestly say will never go there again

31/12/2025: A wonderful and special dining experience! The staff worked non-stop to ensure drinks were filled, our food was delicious, and that our stay was perfect.

13/01/2026: This guy does some seriously devine burgers and his battered fish is orgasmic, does some beautiful fry ups and other tasty dishes too, highly recommend going for a feed, his burgers and his battered fish are seriously worth a trip. The owner is mighty craic too and its a cool old chillout spot inside for a coffee too. 👌👍

03/02/2026: Thought the options to just have a main meal meant we spent way more than wanted to. I found the meal overall expensive for what it is. I had 1 adult and 4 kids. The older kids had to have adult menu which was €33 euro for 2 courses.

26/01/2026: We had a family Graduation on tue 20th January ..i have to say( kian Sang) it was an amazing experience, from your staff and service, The food was absolutely excellent and well presented, and we had 22 people who were all put together also ..just a beautiful place .Thank you so much from Caroline ,Temera and omo, and Erica Odhomor ...for making my daughters Graduation an enjoyable event .Thank you ,Marcopoloxx

27/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience loved every minute of our stay. We got married there this December and they had beautiful Christmas decorations out around the house. The bedrooms were amazing and the hot tub and sauna were well used by everyone who came with us. If you are looking for a place for a wedding a party or just a family weekend away this is the place to go as it was amazing.

18/11/2025: Great week staying at The Springfield Castle! We rented out the entire castle and were able to really spread out and enjoy the castle and grounds on our own. Karen was quick to respond to questions and requests. Lots of fun day trips from this location.

09/05/2025: Stani was so accommodating to my last minute request for a cake. 1 week before. We emailed a few times and she took the order. Arrived to collect on a Sunday and it was amazingly done. Loads of detail on the cake. We expected this to be a chocolate biscuit cake ( as i hadnt specified a preferance and that is the norm usually) but when we cut in we were delighted to see a 4 layer chocolate sponge and chocolate buttercream icing. The cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it so much at the celebration. It was well presented and

09/11/2025: Attended the Christmas masterclass in Nespresso boutique Limerick with Fiachra. I absolutely loved the experience and the knowledge of the barista really enhanced the experience. I hope to attend more of these events and would highly recommend the experience.

14/10/2025: I can honestly say I love this place. I get my cakes here years. The quality of the cakes as well as the prices are just brilliant. The service is amazing, the woman running the place are just the nicest.
