The best restaurants in Cork

13/09/2026: Atmosphere unreal the food is class and the feel is so different from the normal cafes

11/09/2026: We loved our breakfast here! Very kind staff, definitely come back here!

27/09/2026: Pretty alright. Tasty salad, salmon. A bit disappointed in the apple crumble.

21/09/2026: Very disappointing experience at this bar. I felt I was treated unfairly and experienced behaviour that I perceived as racist. Everyone deserves equal respect, regardless of their background. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures all customers are treated equally.

12/07/2026: My cousins and I stayed at the hotel on Friday and had light bites and cocktails on the terrace. Everything was fab but really I’m only reviewing because our server Paudie genuinely made our evening, he was so fab! Paudie was so attentive and was great craic too. He really gave us such good service. Thank you Paudie!

08/07/2026: We just spent 5 nights in a River Suite. The Woodlands part of the property is a five star experience. The serene room design, large balcony and club lounge make this a perfect place for celebrating a special occasion or in our case having a quiet home base for exploring Cork and the surrounding areas. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. The service was excellent. You do not have to leave the property as they have a full service restaurant and bar both with panoramic views, fitness center, pool and spa.

15/08/2026: Great to deal with and nice people

28/07/2026: Fab service Johnny cash employee with best personality

24/10/2026: Lovely cafe spotlessy clean great selection of food even better on a good day you can sit outside 😀

12/10/2026: This is a lovely cafe. Great range of food, and very good quality. Lovely friendly welcome from staff and even customers!

27/10/2026: Quaint and eclectic little cafe that also sells books. There are a vegan sweets, as well as a vegan sausage roll which was quite good. I wish there were more vegan meals/savoury options though.

10/10/2026: A place with a great atmosphere, tasty coffee and cake, and very friendly service. I recommend it and will definitely be back. Thank you so much, Girls.😉

20/10/2026: Highly recommended pub if you can catch it open. Great pints of stout and the atmosphere of an Irish pub from the 1950s or 60s.

03/10/2026: Very disrespectful trying to make me and my friends feel like fools for wanting a pint on a Friday night. If unable to give service that's fine but the attitude of staff there was condescending for no reason.

15/10/2026: My life has genuinely changed, the flying fish may be the salmon of knowledge because now I am smart enough to know KCs is the best chipper on earth. The service is genius too, there's non of the macdonalds bullshit of waiting with your number while everyone after you gets theirs, it's a literal conveyor belt it feels like a drive through in the best way. The people making this perfection in the kitchen move faster than Jordan Belfort on new issue day. The music they play is actually decent and the decor is on point. Eat here or die unfulfilled.

26/09/2026: Bang average, not living up to the hype

31/10/2026: Had a lovely experience. Food was delicious and the service was even better. Special mention to Abbie who was amazing. Will defo return!

28/10/2026: I didn't eat, but the excellent beer menu and the spectacular venue in terms of size and theme, with live music, were fantastic.

05/10/2026: Lovely shopping centre well worth a visit 3 hours freeparking

04/10/2026: Nice shopping centre good variety of shops

12/10/2026: Felt like a changing room. Still an exciting bar!

05/10/2026: Best pints in town. Maybe in Ireland. Kegs under the bar. 10/10.

20/10/2026: The policy the model farm restaurant, they will not divulge the managers name. I was told UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION, they cant not give

20/10/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at The Model Farm was extremely disappointing, especially considering that we have known and visited this restaurant for years. My girlfriend visits regularly with her family every Saturday, which makes this experience even more upsetting. My girlfriend planned to take me to your restaurant for my birthday. We called at 7 PM to ask what time the last food order would be, and we were told 8 PM. We arrived at 7:50 PM, only to be met with extremely poor and unprofessional treatment from the two female staff members taking orders. The first staff member was rude to us simply because we changed tables, while the second spoke to us in an aggressive, raised voice and seemed annoyed that we were placing an order at all. We called in advance, confirmed the ordering time, and arrived within the time we were given. We were customers expecting a pleasant birthday meal, not to be made to feel unwelcome for ordering food. If the restaurant is not willing to accept orders close to closing time, this should be communicated clearly over the phone rather than taking it out on customers who have done nothing wrong. What should have been a lovely birthday celebration turned into a very unpleasant experience and spoiled our day. It is particularly disappointing when this happens at a restaurant we have known and visited for years. Good food is not enough if customers are treated with disrespect. I sincerely hope management addresses this behaviour, because this is not the level of service we expected from The Model Farm. A very disappointing experience, and certainly not what we expected from a restaurant we had trusted for so long.
