26/06/2025: Would highly recommend Ali’s bakery .We recently used gender reveal cupcakes for our big announcement, and they were absolutely perfect! Ali was great to deal with.

14/05/2025: Very friendly and easy to deal with. Birthday cupcakes were beautiful and delivered to the person. Would definitely recommend and use again.

22/10/2025: Pie Guys was such a delightful experience. They were closed at the English Market because they were sold out, so we wandered down to the Black Market, and I’m so glad we did. IT WAS CLASS. The buttery crust, the perfect mash, the filling, the amazing dill slaw. This was a must stop, making it a plan for tomorrow as well. You will not be disappointed.

18/10/2025: Having grown up with a mum who was a pastry chef and confectioner and has since passed, I’ve had the best of the best… but having seen these lads and the pies they create I said I’d have to try it and see does it stack up.. all I can say is YES… I was instantly transported back to my youth with the quality of the pastry.. and the filling, omg something to die for.. thank you for giving me a little taste of my youth after a bad week of missing my mum it really put a smile on my face!!! We will be back!

Our food arrived shortly after ordering and it was just amazing , portions were large and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend visiting this place . We will definitely be back next time we are in the area . Well done to everyone working at The Model Farm 👏👏

31/10/2025: As a non-local, this place didn't come up in my list until I walked past it. And what a find! Great variety of self brewed craft beer, explained by a very knowledgeable staff. If you like choices, go for the beer flights with 3 beers each that you can choose. Beer-wise, to be completely honest, it's not the world's best craft beer, but we were not expecting that. For the chill ambiance and seating, this hit the spot.

19/10/2025: Added this to our list from a YouTube video recommendation... TOTALLY worth it. Great service. Friendly staff. Excellent beer (of course). We were only in for a couple (pints that is) this time but still excellent conversation and absolutely felt welcome.

08/11/2025: I'm Italian. Been living in Ireland for 9 years and everytime i wanted to eat Italian i had to do it myself. This is the first time i had authentic Italian food! The Pasta and risotto are amazing and well made! The antipasto is amazing, feels like a little piece of Italy in Ireland. I will be back for more!

21/11/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at 51 Cornmarket tonight, and the entire experience was world-class, especially the service. We were running significantly late due to unforeseen circumstances, but the owner, Anne, was absolutely fantastic and incredibly accommodating. ​Anne stayed in close contact with us while we were en route, kindly sent us the menu ahead of time, and even took our order so the kitchen could prepare our meal while we traveled. This level of communication and care is truly rare and saved our evening! ​Once we arrived, the setting and atmosphere were warm, intimate, and absolutely on point. The food was nothing short of fantastic—every dish was delicious. The wine selection was also superb. ​Thank you, Anne, and the entire team at 51 Cornmarket, for turning a stressful evening into a wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommend!

13/11/2025: All the staff and regulars here are pretty great, and quick service at the bar although it’s popular so can be hard to squeeze in. They do a lot of live music as well and the performers always bring the best energy to the place. Classic snacks available, and I think if memory serves right they have mulled wine around Christmas, I keep trying to ask when it is. 😂
