16/05/2025: Really don’t know where so many 5 star reviews are coming from. Visited 14.05 evening. Waitress in glasses saw me entering the restaurant and completely ignored me until I went up to the bar area to “let my presence known”. Ordered grilled salmon (€25) that was all dry and white wine sauce hard seen. In terms of ambience it’s average at best.
15/05/2025: Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely service, lovely atmosphere. All in all, a lovely night.

01/06/2025: Coriander is the best Indian restaurant I’ve found in Cork—maybe even in all of Ireland. The food is excellent, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices: the Chana Puri and Okra mains, along with the house-special aloo potatoes and cauliflower sides, are all vegan and bursting with flavour. The staff are lovely, offering poppadoms and chutney while you wait and checking in throughout the meal. There’s a good wine list, a warm atmosphere, and practical perks too—a taxi rank right outside in the evenings and a bus stop directly across the street.
31/05/2025: I would not recommend Coriander Restaurant. I had a very disappointing experience with their lamb biryani today. While eating, I bit into a stone that was in the biryani. It was shocking and completely ruined my meal — I had to stop eating immediately. This is unacceptable, especially from a place that claims to serve quality food. 28/02/2025: I was refused a "last call" drink and told by the female bar worker that I had already had a drink on the table. Which was true, I had a half finished pint which I bought before closing time. My friends got served and after that, and i finished my drink and left. The bar worker in question will probably not remember me, as that is the kind of quiet person I am, but I will remember the embarrassment caused to me and will never inter that bar again.

08/05/2025: One star is being generous the prices, the amount of time wasted going to different queues for coffee ice cream and whatever else is ridiculous it’s very pointless and confusing. I was there recently for ice cream for my daughter the machine ran out more had to be made it took forever the staff need to be trained better. I got a refund and left absolute disaster I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter they added there own thing on it for whatever reason and it ruined the cake. Serious improvements need to be made.

08/05/2025: Just hosted my 80th birthday at this remarkable gem. Valerie was wonderful to work with. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I had some, shall I say, a few unique requests and Valerie said “of course” yes, we can do that. My guests were impressed with the whole evening. The food, the wine, the vibe, the atmosphere were exactly what I was looking for as I celebrated a momentous and significant milestone in my life. 22/04/2025: I had the French toast with maple and bacon, the bacon was extremely crispy which is each to their own I personally don't like extremely crispy bacon. It was fab. They were out of stock of the smoothies when I went which I wanted to try it was sold out so I presuming it most be good. The orange juice was nice.

I will tell you a little secret after posting this won’t be more secret,I have been there a good few times the same for all restaurants all over the county cork because I just posted photos and videos about county cork I’m in Ireland for long time but I never toke photos inside the any restaurant if the restaurant is full I’m not feeling comfortable to do that but I’m do my valuation my reviews after in home with time.
