02/06/2026: Ash was awesome here. Food and coffee drinks were stellar. When back in Cork, we will definitely come here again.

28/05/2026: Great Cappuccino, bread was a bit hard but still good enough. Recommend to go in for a coffee!

24/05/2026: Attended a birthday party here. The venue was great inside and out. The toilets were clean. The staff were friendly.

22/05/2026: I love the new look Briar Rose and the new lunch menu is really good. I had the pastrami with sauerkraut on sourdough bread and it was delicious. I had a sneaky look at the dinner menu and I'm definitely going back for the Tomahawk Steak.

04/09/2025: So many savory options! Best Italian I have had since going vegan. Got there, given an hr wait, went nexdoor til she called us over earlier than expected, and she waited a little extra while we finished our pints. Kind service staff. Loved the fresh ingredients. My pesto ravioli with sweet potatoes was fantastic. The linguine were perfectly al dente and we could see them being made. Saved room for dessert, the strawberry hill was delicious. All so perfectly balanced, really. Try the appetizers! We got the socca farinata. My Omni bf and I (vegan) thought this was some of the best food we've had. Cozy, romantic, welcoming, & affordable, too.

09/05/2026: My first time trying Nepalese food, and let me tell you I was Not Disappointed At All!! The duck curry is literally to die for, definitely the Nicest one I have ever had, chicken tikka starters were absolutely amazing, and the garlic and coriander naan breads are just utterly mouthwatering!! The service was class, seated and seen to in very quick succession, and the staff were more than helpful, clearing empty plates and refilling water jugs very quickly and very attentive to detail! I am Definitely going again to try more of this Fabulous food 😍😍😍😍

05/05/2026: I used to order from here often, especially the rice, and it was always great. Lately, though, the quality has dropped a lot. The rice is bland, overly sticky, and seems like it’s not even freshly made - more like porridge than proper rice. Not sure what changed, but it’s disappointing, especially considering the price. I won’t be ordering again and don’t recommend this place.

08/06/2026: By far the best bar in Cork. Great selection of Irish whiskey, good food, and Danny the co-owner was a really nice guy. Food 5stars Danny got me hooked on Red Breast 12yr Irish Whiskey. 5stars

29/05/2026: I am pretty amazed to read that this Place only has 4.2 stars. I found it to be completely charming. My Irish Coffee was out of this world. The other clientele were extremely friendly. Highly recommended 🙏🏾

PS.: After seeing your reply, I would like to add that I have changed my rating to 3 stars. The reason I only gave you 3 stars is that everyone's time is valuable, and if you had indicated your working hours on Google Maps, I could have made other plans for that day.

20/05/2026: We have been ordering loving salads since our daughter’s first birthday party and most recently had them at her communion party last week. They are always a big hit with family and friends. I can’t go past them for flavour and value for money.

20/05/2026: We used loving salads for our daughter’s communion at the weekend & I can honestly say we were blown away. The quality of the produce, the value for money, the flavours & presentation were all flawless. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending their home catering menu for any event.
