21/03/2025: Had my granddaughter's confirmation Lunch today and I would highly recommend it... We were a group of 22 adults and children. The service was on point and the food was fabulous as always. 15/02/2025: Wow ! Just had an amazing meal in 51 . We sat at the counter top and it felt like we were the only 2 in the room . Comfort meets class . The food is just 10/10 everything , left wanting more of everything ! Desert was world class . Wine was fabulous, and help to pick which one we would like . Customer service was outstanding such friendly staff , making you feel so welcome and chatting to you throughout but this didn’t take from the intimacy the setting creates and just the welcoming happy vibes the room leaves off . We will definitely be returning ! Thank you .

28/02/2025: *Disappointing Experience at Coriander - Rude Service and Poor Attitude My wife and I, along with her family friend, visited Cork, Ireland, for a short trip from England. We decided to try out an Indian-Nepalese restaurant called Coriander, which we found on Google Maps. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant, and I feel compelled to share our disappointment. We called ahead and reserved a table for four just five minutes before arriving. Upon entering, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only four tables occupied, including ours. A young man handed us menus and said he’d return when we were ready to order. When we called him back, one of our party wasn’t ready, so we politely asked him to come back later. Five minutes later, we were ready to order, but this time, a different waiter with a beard approached us. His attitude was immediately off-putting. My wife, who was feeling unwell with a cold and flu, requested a room-temperature soft drink. His response was shocking: “You guys can order hot drinks, why do you need a soft drink?” This was not only rude but also completely unprofessional. We were taken aback by his dismissive and condescending tone. When we ordered the lamb chops, he didn’t bother to explain how many pieces would be served or provide any details about the dish. His demeanor throughout the interaction was cold and unwelcoming. It was evident that he didn’t want us there, as he seemed much happier and friendlier serving the local Irish customers. This double standard in treatment was both noticeable and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the restaurant’s signage outside prominently displays “Indian Restaurant,” but the staff’s behavior made us question their respect for the culture they’re representing. It felt misleading and, frankly, disrespectful to use the Indian title if the staff harbors such attitudes. The waiter spent more time on his phone than attending to customers, and his overall behavior suggested he was doing us a favor by serving us, rather than treating us as paying guests. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was astounding. I cannot recommend Coriander to anyone. The service was appalling, the attitude of the staff was rude, and the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome and undervalued. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere.
