31/08/2026: There were more staff than customers, and we waited over an hour for our food. No one even approached the guy next to us to take our order. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was average for the price. On the plus side, Chris, the waiter, realized something was wrong, came over, and fixed it – clearly the most organized of the team. Nice guy. Howder was very good.

30/08/2026: I really wanted to visit it. It was worth it. A legendary place for anyone visiting Cork.

06/08/2026: I walked in without a reservation and this was one of the best Irish meals I’ve had in Cork. I went dir a late lunch and the menu didn’t include Bangers and Mash except for on the kids‘ menu. The waitress asked the chef to make it an adult portion for me. It was great but paled in comparison to her extra effort to create a wonderful experience. I also ordered the Tres Leches for desert and it also exceeded expectations. I should also mention that I attempted to walk in the night before and was told they were all full and could not serve me. This did not deter me because he was so professional and nice about. So glad I went back.

05/08/2026: My first fish & chips in Ireland and I wasn’t disappointed. As it’s my first time trying this dish I can’t compare it but it was still tasty!

23/08/2026: Completely closed down for at least the next 2 weeks it seems. With no warning posted online its quite disappointing. Especially when the marina market is so much more conveniently located with better selection and quality.

12/07/2026: My cousins and I stayed at the hotel on Friday and had light bites and cocktails on the terrace. Everything was fab but really I’m only reviewing because our server Paudie genuinely made our evening, he was so fab! Paudie was so attentive and was great craic too. He really gave us such good service. Thank you Paudie!

08/07/2026: We just spent 5 nights in a River Suite. The Woodlands part of the property is a five star experience. The serene room design, large balcony and club lounge make this a perfect place for celebrating a special occasion or in our case having a quiet home base for exploring Cork and the surrounding areas. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. The service was excellent. You do not have to leave the property as they have a full service restaurant and bar both with panoramic views, fitness center, pool and spa.

03/09/2026: I really like coming back here, the food is always fresh and delicious! Saag paneer is top class!

25/08/2026: The food was delicious. We had the lamb shank, prawns and the vegetarian thali. The flavours were authentic and the prices were comparable.

03/08/2026: A lovely pub — Mary, one of the owners, was very kind (and shocked to hear other reviews had mentioned her by name!). We had a great pint chatting with a local man. Cozy spot, not too busy on a Monday night.

16/06/2026: A country pub in the city. Been a pub for 260 years and in the same family for the last 100 years +. Friendly owner and decent pints. Frequently called out as one of the pubs to visit if you are in Cork.

03/09/2026: The food is amazing, the staff make you feel like family. This is the place we go when we want to recharge and refuel. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend it- thank you team Mango Cafe and look forward to returning very soon

29/03/2026: What a lovely experience the Masterclass! We learnt a lot about the new Pistachio Vainilla capsule and the team at the boutique was very kind! The recipes were tasty and the Nanofoamer was amazing ☕

10/04/2026: I visited last week with my swiss friend. We were the first customer that day. The owner was kind and nice. It was a bit cold but i could understand that because the bar had just opened. I would visit here soon

18/08/2026: My parents had recently moved to Ireland, and I was having a hard time finding some celebratory treats for my Dad’s birthday from overseas. I discovered Ali’s Bakery online, and saw that they could deliver! Everything looked amazing, and the process was easy. They happily delivered to my Dad, and he was able to confirm that both the cookies and cupcakes were indeed delicious! I will most definitely be ordering from them again whenever a sweet treat is needed! I only wish I was close enough to try them myself (I’ll have to coordinate a purchase when I come to visit)!

10/01/2026: I just popped by after meaning to try this for a while. Without doubt, the best pie I've ever had. Maybe memories of the pie shop in Birmingham share a place in my heart. I will definitely be back as this was just so good. The young lady who served me was so genky and sweet too.
