12/07/2026: My cousins and I stayed at the hotel on Friday and had light bites and cocktails on the terrace. Everything was fab but really I’m only reviewing because our server Paudie genuinely made our evening, he was so fab! Paudie was so attentive and was great craic too. He really gave us such good service. Thank you Paudie!

08/07/2026: We just spent 5 nights in a River Suite. The Woodlands part of the property is a five star experience. The serene room design, large balcony and club lounge make this a perfect place for celebrating a special occasion or in our case having a quiet home base for exploring Cork and the surrounding areas. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. The service was excellent. You do not have to leave the property as they have a full service restaurant and bar both with panoramic views, fitness center, pool and spa.

03/07/2026: Finding this place was a real treat. The atmosphere and service are lovely. The menu isn't extensive, but the food is delicious, and they even have some vegetarian options. And with the fantastic music of Rory Gallagher playing in the background, it's pure luxury.

23/07/2026: If you are looking for the best coffee in Cork, Cortado Coffee is the place to go! Every cup is expertly made, consistently delicious, and full of flavour. The coffee quality is outstanding, and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere makes every visit a pleasure. The staff are always warm and attentive. Easily my favourite coffee spot in Cork and one I recommend to everyone!

30/05/2026: What a place. The owner is honest to god one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. Class selection of records, and zines, but particularly what makes the shop standout is their DNB selection. It’s the only place I know of in Cork, maybe even Munster that stocks some of these records. I’ve found many a gem here. Great hip hop too, some more niche stuff that you’d never expect to see anywhere else, like Shawty Pimp and other Memphis acts. Such a welcoming atmosphere, you can play a record at your leisure and indulge in a great croissant, a great cup of tea, and have great chats. Love the place. Class.

16/06/2026: Excellent experience at Sakura Cuisine. The food was beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The care put into each dish and the attention to detail, both in the kitchen and the service, was evident. One thing that made the visit even more special was the service from an Argentinian waitress who greeted us with a smile and a warmth that immediately made us feel at home. It's always nice to meet a fellow countryman while traveling, and even more so when they offer such friendly and welcoming service. The extended opening hours were also a plus.

18/06/2026: Some Dose in Hanley’s is a nice little setup and a super handy stopping point just out of the city. The coffee is always great and the staff are sound. They’ve a nice outdoor seating area too, which makes it a great spot to sit in when the weather’s good. Never disappoints, highly recommend.

13/10/2025: Excellent service and Murphys. Came to watch the Wales game, which they initially didn't have on. But the legend behind the bar took the time to edit the settings in order to stream BBC Wales for me. Good friendly atmosphere, highly recommended 👌
