05/12/2025: Top class. Food and service so good.can deal with everyone even when busy and so professional. Great to see a business like this doing so well and great appreciation for most locations as this business expands. Shame 5 points can’t replicate this

28/11/2025: My favourite café! I got the nicest chai latte here this morning, the atmosphere was so cozy. The people working here are always so lovely also.

13/04/2026: I have been here many times from the cocktail bar upstairs to the food and bars downstairs and have always had a great time. Excellent food and drinks.

20/11/2025: Cool café right on the River Lee with some outdoor tables. Delicious, handmade pastries and excellent coffee. Friendly service behind the counter. It was very noisy during our visit because a large group of young tourists was also in the very small space... but that shouldn't be the norm!

29/12/2025: Great pub, great food, Could not fault it

21/12/2025: Poor turnaround times with up to 1 hour wait for starter. Despite delay by restaurant was asked to leave at 2 hours as not getting desert. Other tables present were >2hours and not asked to leave as they ordered desert.

16/04/2026: had to first mention the lovely servers we had, so polite and helpful and kept coming by with unlimited free refills of green jasmine tea. i got the california rolls for sushi and they were delightful and fresh. got teriyaki chicken udon noodles for my main and the broth, chicken, and noodles were perfect. for dessert we all shared to mochi which was nice but wish you were able to customise what flavours you were given and how many. overall 10/10 experience. saw lots of students eating here and splitting the bill which the staff were more than happy to do, so would definetly recommend if you need reasonable prices.

29/04/2026: This was a fantastic experience! Of all the choices for a night in Cork, I am so glad we chose Plunketts. The 2-man band was fabulous and the craic was just what we were looking for. Make your reservations and GO!

28/04/2026: I ordered a round of four of Redbreast 12. The Bartender did not ask if I wanted it neat (I did) and he brought it to me with ice. When I told him I wanted it neat, he re-poured the drinks. I sat down to enjoy the drinks and watched the bartenders strain the ice from the glasses and pour the whiskey back in the bottle. It had been in the glasses for at least five minutes and certainly was diluted. Inexcusable.

31/12/2025: I got a takeaway americano here. The coffee is good but the staff couldn’t be less interested as one of their friends was there. €3.40 for the smallest cup is definitely up there in cost as coffee goes.

11/09/2025: Went along for the trad session this evening supposedly from 6pm, hoping to play, but unfortunately it had been cancelled so no tunes fix for me. Not quite sure why- one or two other bemused musicians floating around. Nice enough pub otherwise though.

05/10/2025: Amazing place for delicious small plates and fantastic wines. Really great for trying new wines! Staff are so friendly and go above and beyond also.

07/10/2025: What a lovely setup and really nice staff. And for once the green tea wasn’t a rip off as it is in most coffee houses. Recommended
