12/10/2026: Really enjoyed our lunch here, food and venue were excellent.

07/10/2026: I ordered the bacon and maple pancakes which were delicious along with a coffee which I must say might be the best in Cork. The prices were very reasonable and staff were lovely. You can look out onto the beautiful views of the harbour mouth.

25/10/2026: We visited Cork recently and had a dinner reservation at Scoozi to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Even though we arrived early, the staff were so accommodating and welcomed us right away, and they had even decorated the table for us! The food was incredible. The absolute highlight was when they brought out the cake and played the 'Happy Birthday' song. It was a truly memorable dining experience!

15/10/2026: Huge thanks to Danny and his team for looking after us on Saturday night. Left down by another restaurant for an important family birthday. They fitted in our group of 8 and made us so welcome. Gorgeous food as always, friendly but professional service and lovely atmosphere. Scoozis is still the top family restaurant in Cork with great menu, great value and great staff. Thanks again! Roz and Buckley family.

30/09/2026: I had really been looking forward to trying this place. It was on my list of places to visit in Cork, so I was unfortunately very disappointed. I found a bone in my fried chicken and actually bit down on it with my teeth. It completely put me off my food. I told the staff about it, but they didn’t offer to make me a new dish, give me a discount, or anything similar. So I ended up eating the rest even though I didn’t really wanted to, because I had already paid for it. Such a disappointing experience. I had really been looking forward to trying this place.

20/09/2026: This place is a gem. The wings are to die for and the rice balls are class. Seating is limited but they are very accommodating and can sometimes give you a buzz when a seat becomes free! One of our favourites ❤️

28/09/2026: Stopped today on our journey from Kilkenny to Killarney. We were so impressed by the lovely female staff who greeted us. Dare I say ‘salt of the earth’. Food was excellent and we left promising ourselves we would return here.

08/10/2026: We went for breakfast. My Wife, my Son and I. My son and I had the full Irish with 2 bacon, 2 sausages,2 pieces of pudding, 1 black one white, why am i thinking about that song about a breakfast roll. Lol. Also mushrooms, beans and hash browns. My wife has the eggs benedict. All I can say is the food was as beautiful as the presentation. €18 for each breakfast. The staff were very attentive to us. They did everything so smoothly and always with a smile. Well worth the price, and the surroundings were so warm and cosy. Very elegant and classy. You can see the owners take great pride in their establishment. We will definitely be making this our place for our next breakfast and maybe even lunch too. The menu for that looked very appetising too. You won't regret it. I'd put my next breakfast on it. 😂

30/08/2026: For many years we have frequented here. Absolutely great summer place for us. I am sure the winters are good too. The seafood is amazing and is great value.

20/09/2026: Amazing bartenders, and the bands were just as cool! They made me want to go back to Ireland, and Cork in particular! Stardog and Fior, incredible live rock bands!

18/10/2026: Edit September 2026. I finally found it and it was impeccable. Unbelievable. I get the whole hush thing, but it's hardly so hush that it can't be found. Think I found the back of the kitchen, but then I said screw this, i came for dinner not a treasure hunt. Treasure was found in the end -McDonalds Ballincollig

12/10/2026: On our coach tour visit to Cork we stopped right outside a pub called the Poor Relation. Being just two hops away and after our long voyage we decided this was our first port of call, so we popped in. And, possibly with such a unusual name for a pub, curiosity was also the attraction. Looking at the pub from the outside the place shows history. An old timber framed building, with stained windows, and many wooden crates and barrels displayed outside at the entrance. On entering through the doors you first notice how suddenly dark inside it is considering it's mid day outside. Still your eyes begin to adjust and take in the interior as you make your way to the bar. At last. Having been served by the bar attendant with a good wholesome pint you take a good look about you to find a seat amongst the maze of rooms and passageways; and finally after passing and gazing upon walls and ceilings full of photos and pictures you navigate to an empty table, with seats. Yes, it's midday so finding a table and seats wasn't too hard. The place was comfortable and warm and filled with conversations from other areas within. Music was playing over the speaker system, not live mind you, but pleasant enough not to overpower your conversations. After some time the place was beginning to get a little busier and it was soon time for our small party to leave and explore the city of Cork outside before getting back on our coach trip home. After all that's the other reason why we made the trip. All in all a most excellent day.

06/08/2026: I walked in without a reservation and this was one of the best Irish meals I’ve had in Cork. I went dir a late lunch and the menu didn’t include Bangers and Mash except for on the kids‘ menu. The waitress asked the chef to make it an adult portion for me. It was great but paled in comparison to her extra effort to create a wonderful experience. I also ordered the Tres Leches for desert and it also exceeded expectations. I should also mention that I attempted to walk in the night before and was told they were all full and could not serve me. This did not deter me because he was so professional and nice about. So glad I went back.

05/08/2026: My first fish & chips in Ireland and I wasn’t disappointed. As it’s my first time trying this dish I can’t compare it but it was still tasty!
