07/04/2025: It's not here either my review that doesn't exist you must have mistaken with someone else if I had something to say I'd say it. So here it is grand pub great staff, good vibe good drink, great entertainment and you can bring your dog what's not to like. Don't get in often enough.

10/01/2024: Update: 10th January 2024. CLOSED - Google shows it’s open but blinds are down and sign says it shut for January. Bonus: we walked around and found Furey’s diner, not somewhere we’d been before. Whenever we visit Donegal we always use to pop in here for a cuppa and something to eat. Arrived today to find it closed, sign in window states they closed due to refurbishment at the beginning of January and will reopen again in February. Based on my past visit I’m giving it 5 stars and hopefully it will reopen soon.

30/09/2024: The food is always top quality in here and the staff are very friendly. The Mexicana sandwich is particularly nice!

22/06/2024: I came down here while I was attending the Donegal Rally, came in while the place was empty and was immediately treated with unpleasantness. We were instructed to go to the counter to order food and when I went up with my group. I ordered and Irish breakfast with a coffee and on the menu it cost 9.90 but when I went to pay I was charged over 13 euro. The general demeanor of the woman behind the counter and the eye rolls over the fact I was ordering food. If I could give less stars I would. Terrible place to go terrible service, will recommend people to go elsewhere.

01/07/2025: Vaya, un restaurante irlandés que hace café decente. Empiezo con eso porque nos hemos alojado en varios hoteles excelentes donde solo puedo describir su café como té débil. En realidad, Cedars es una joya. Tuvimos dos cenas muy buenas y dos maravillosos desayunos buffet. Si bien el personal del autobús puede estar un poco confundido, el personal de camareros se aseguró de que todo fuera perfecto. El personal del autobús se olvidó de llevar pan a la mesa de al lado. La camarera se disculpó profusamente y se excedió para corregir el error. Eso es lo que esperaría ver. Me sorprende que la última reseña que veo tenga dos años.

09/11/2025: A restaurant that lives up to the hotel's standards, which is rare. The meat is of excellent quality, and the scallops are out of this world—the best we've ever had, and I apologize to the Galicians for saying so. The service is superb, and the setting is beautiful. It's worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel.

28/05/2025: The most incredible service, excellent staff, amazing food. Beautiful atmosphere. Our large party had been traveling all day, got turned away from the pub, but inquired at Cedars and was immediately welcomed, and the highest quality service given to us even though we were not guests of the hotel and just passing through late in the evening. Did not make us feel uncomfortable, underdressed, or out of place … the staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make it a delightful experience! Outstanding food! And the best hospitality - thank you!!

23/07/2025: Brilliant curry just smaller amount of curry for the price but definitely lovely curry

03/03/2025: We got pulao rice and chicken biryani. Coming from an Indian, I can say this is one of the best biryanis I’ve had in Ireland and they serve that with raita (yoghurt dip) which is as close to my home style raita as it gets. Highly recommended but it’s a bit oily. If they reduce it a bit, that’ll be even better. It’s halal
