Shapla Indian Restaurant
16/08/2024: Staff really unpleasant and didn't seem to want to help out. To busy dealing with the deliveries. This looked more important than offering good customer service. The onion starters came out burnt and rock hard. Asked for water and the staff wasn't att all happy. Poored water on table and floor
Never tried to clean it up.
20/04/2024: Best Indian we have ever eaten at. We travel from derry on a regular basis just to get this and have done for years. Food is amazing and staff are always very friendly and helpful and lovely. Great quality for money. Can't fault it. Will always be our fav.

23/06/2025: We stayed in the Motorhome pitches overnight in June 2025. The pub is on the Wild Atlantic Way track. Great stopover, nice local pub with friendly helpful staff. The pitches are concrete pads that are flat and level, with electric and water at each pitch. There is grass on the side with a picnic bench. Nice countryside view. We paid 20Euros for overnight pitch and electric.
Restaurant currently not open.
14/05/2025: A wonderful atmosphere and brilliant staff. No wonder Michael Duffy has won Barman of the Year twice. My first visit, but very impressed.

31/12/2023: The location, the house, and the room were beautiful. Theresa is a very lovely woman. We had a great night sleep and a fantastic breakfast. We will definitely go back for a little break.
13/10/2023: Irish hospitality at its best.
First choice when visiting Donegal town.

03/09/2024: Went for a family reunion with my cousins from Donegal. Had a great night with good food and great company. The staff were very helpful and couldn't have done more for us. The choice on the menu was great and there were some very good Sri Lankan Curries. The dessert menu had good choices too. We had a few drinks after the dinner and weren't rushed. Great night all round.

Castle Grove Country House Hotel
24/07/2024: Na het oprijden van de oprijlaan gearriveerd bij het mooi gelegen sfeervolle landhuis. Gezellige ontvangst in de zitkamer. Vervolgens werd aan tafel prettig snel het eten geserveerd . Het eten was allemaal echt super smaakvol!
