11/03/2024: Fish and chips were really the best ive tasted.fish was huge

18/09/2024: Been a few time in the Tara Hotel Resturant but the last time for lunch with my wife,the lunch was very poor.I had a fish pie which was almost devoid of any fish,in fact it was probably the remnants of chowder with a 2 1/2 inch topping of cheesy mash minus the cheese .My wife had a open prawn sandwich which consisted of prawn Marie rose with little to no sauce and pretty tired looking salad. To round it off we got a portion of chips which numbered about12 chips for the bargain price of €5.Wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here,just about anywhere else in Donegal is better than this place,standard of cooking is shocking

06/09/2024: I used to eat here whenever I am in Donegal. It used to be really good food. Unfortunately things have changed. I was in recently for dinner. I ordered a salad. The leaves were rotten and slimy. What was delivered to the table was not what was on the menu. My husband ordered Fish and Chips. The fish was soggy and tasteless, the chips were terrible. You could taste that the oil from the fryer needs to be changed. Just very disappointed and not happy about having to pay for such bad food.

16/08/2024: Staff really unpleasant and didn't seem to want to help out. To busy dealing with the deliveries. This looked more important than offering good customer service. The onion starters came out burnt and rock hard. Asked for water and the staff wasn't att all happy. Poored water on table and floor Never tried to clean it up.

20/04/2024: Best Indian we have ever eaten at. We travel from derry on a regular basis just to get this and have done for years. Food is amazing and staff are always very friendly and helpful and lovely. Great quality for money. Can't fault it. Will always be our fav.

31/12/2023: The location, the house, and the room were beautiful. Theresa is a very lovely woman. We had a great night sleep and a fantastic breakfast. We will definitely go back for a little break.

22/06/2024: Planned a function with 45-50 people for an after party wedding reception. Nicola organized a perfect evening with food catered in , full bar services and perfect decorations. Would highly recommend any type of special function at this location . Plenty of parking and space in their upstairs function room . Thank you again. And the acoustics for the music were great as well !

15/10/2024: J’ai passé 5 nuits à l’hôtel. J’avais un séminaire durant le we et 2 jours libre pour profiter du pays. L’atmosphère de l’hôtel est accueillante et chaleureuse. Il offre la possibilité de manger à toute heure du jour. Les espaces communs sont vastes et il y a toujours moyen de trouver un lieu plus intime pour lire ou travailler ou converser tranquillement … ou profiter de l’ambiance joyeuse du Pub ! La chambre était agréable et bien équipée, le lit Kingsize très confortable. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et souriant. On m’a donné les conseils et infos que je demandais et assustée pour trouver des solutions de déplacement. De plus, la General Manager met un point d’honneur à rencintrer les clients et veiller à ce qu’il ne leur manque rien. Un excellent hôtel

11/10/2024: Had a beautiful meal, service was second to none. Made feel very welcome. Beautiful refurbished bar and hotel. Had the opportunity to visit 2 different bedrooms. Absolutely stunning, beautiful decor and very spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a break or dinner, or drinks and a chat. No problem giving this hotel 5 *
