ended up buying more pizza because the pizza was the best pizza we’ve ever tasted
plenty of cheese
nice soft but thick base
came nice and hot
pepperoni was crispy
seriously tho is this pizza laced with crack because after just a couple slices i needed to buy 3 more pizzas
my mate has turnt into a full on addict she’s refusing to leave the shop until it opens again she’s scratching and itching for more pizza
and as for the manager… i won’t say too much but wow what a guy!
really cares for his customers to the point he sat with us and got us a taxi (even tho my friend refused to leave)
he has finished his shift and still sat in his car outside and made sure to get us a way home
truly a top bloke in his top form
also had the privilege of having a side of taco chips
let’s just say i had taco chips in dublin and it was just some mince meat on top but these
wow
anyway they deserve the best in life especially the manager
beautiful guy with a beautiful soul
i’m from england and im booking my next flight just for this shop

05/06/2024: We stopped off for fish and chips and the service was great. Food also good too. Big portions too. Very friendly staff. Card payment taken. Worth a visit if your nearby.
27/04/2024: The food was excellent and so was the service - however the prices were embarrassing to say the least.
It would be of more value to go to a local hotel and get a main course dinner.
Will never be back !!!!!!!

13/10/2024: Docked in here on a Sunday midday for breakfast/brunch. Place was well full but it's Sunday after all. Got a table down the back, fair enough.
Good varied menu in there but first thing that hits are the prices. This is an expensive spot. Full Irish breakfast is € 16:50 ! Can I keep the plate ? An hour later I was in Knock Airport and the full Irish was cheaper up there ! And we all know airport prices.
Ordered an uneventful scrambled egg and bacon which was slowly consumed waiting for my cappuccino that finally arrived from an under pressure young waitress.
It came with toast. Hooray. Asked for marmalade. They were all out.

31/08/2024: As a local and not been into eat since May decided to grab breakfast/brunch today. Ordered the poached eggs and tomato and chose the soda bread option. Soda bread was home cooked and warm as usual. But two poached eggs and half a tomato for €9.80 on a dinner sized serving plate was a bit much. Maybe a smaller plate and a little garnish say a watercress leaf or herbs would be good. Queried where the other half of the tomato was and was told by the server that it's only half a tomato that is served. No value in ordering the poached eggs anymore. No garnish. Says on menu coffee/tea included but because I ordered a large americano it was extra which fair enough but the server could have said that when I was ordering. Wasps everywhere. Staff trying to catch them with tongs behind the counter. To be honest it's gone downhill from when last in there. Servers surprised when we asked to order. Plenty of other places around town to visit and much tastier food too.

17/08/2024: Ordered Doner kebab and a small chip worst kebab I've ever had the meat was cut into the tiniest pieces and very little of it and it was barely warm.

18/09/2024: The tofu in the spice bag is literally rotten and unsafe to eat. I've had expired tofu before and it tastes exactly like that and it's pink. The chips were undercooked, had to put it in the air fryer. €9 is a lot for rotten food and undercooked food.

09/09/2024: Most of the food is okay but the chips taste rotten most of the time and smell old. Its been like this 99% of the time and rarely do you get fresh chips and when you do theyre good and dont smell.
19/07/2024: Imagine a microwave Rustlers beef burger but even worse. This place has honestly ranked on the worst tasting food and chips that I have ever tasted in my life. The staff were lovely and obviously just cooking what they are told to but I thought it was absolutely rank.

The Singing Pub

01/09/2024: Had been recommended this pub from a few sources and as I was staying at a campsite nearby decided to go there for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon with my dog.
On arrival there is a sign saying ‘please wait to be seated’ and after 10 minutes of waiting and no-one acknowledging me standing there, I asked the barman if someone would be over - he said to just find a table, which I did. Must have sat for about 15 minutes being ignored by the waiting staff who just kept walking past me and I had to intercept one member staff and ask for my order to be taken. Food arrived quickly and it was ok - nothing special.
I was then hoping to be offered the dessert menu but after sitting, being ignored again, for probably 20 minutes I decided to just ask for the bill. I also had to ask a couple of times for the bill !!
All in all quite a disappointing visit and on that basis I wouldn’t be recommending it.
26/08/2024: A big group of us ate at this very busy restaurant. It is outside Downings and there is a large but busy car park. There is also a children’s playground for when you are waiting. Service good although you need a lot of time as restaurant very busy and quite big. We ate at 5.30 pm and there was no music. I don’t know when they have music or why it is called the Singing Pub. A good range of food choices. Quite large portions. The children in our group did not like the pizza. Brie on bruschetta was tasty but huge. All in all a good option for a large group but booking essential.

11/05/2024: Couldn't stay here over july holiday .it says its temporarily closed.its now been closed from last July. Very 😔still closed 2024 .ardaras finished.where are tourists going to stay.gready owner I see your still shut wile the ukraines go home for christmas and then come back again.its bad enough irelands being ruined by illegals it's a joke nowhere to stay this summer .pubs ect will lose money ardaras finished as well as the rest of ireland
