13/01/2025: Being meaning to try here for a long time, never got around to it. But got surprised with a delivery box gift. Even from the personalised message on the box was lovely but the presentation of meats, cheeses, crackers etc.. was lovely you could see and smell the freshness 👌 it has left an appetite for more and a definite visit to sit in the restaurant soon 👌🙏

15/02/2025: I recently visited this pizzeria, and while the food had its moments, the overall experience left room for improvement. First, the waiting time at the tills was very long, we waited 15 mins before we even had the chance to order and sit down, and the service at the till was just average. Be aware that you need to prepay for your meal, and they try to prompt you to leave a tip before you’ve even sat down, which felt a bit pushy. We ordered two pizzas—one "Can’t Banh Mi Love" and one "Hail Caesar"—along with two lagers. The first pizza arrived after about 20 minutes, but the second one didn’t come until another 10 minutes later. This was disappointing because my partner’s pizza had gone cold by the time mine arrived. One thing to note is that the pizza dough seemed intentionally burnt as part of their style, as I noticed all the other customers’ pizzas were the same. While some might enjoy this charred flavor, I personally found that it overpowered the other ingredients at times, which was unfortunate given how creative and flavorful the toppings were. That said, when not overshadowed by the burnt dough, the pizzas were still delicious! They weren’t the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot), but they’d definitely make it into my top 10. Overall, while the food had potential, issues with service, timing, and their burnt dough detracted from what could have been a perfect dining experience.

15/02/2025: The Dough Bros is a real gem! 🍕🔥 One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The dough is delicious, with a generous and tasty filling 😋. The service is fast and pleasant, with a smiling and efficient team 😊. The atmosphere of the place is friendly, perfect for having a good time with friends or family 🍽️🍷. A great discovery that I recommend without hesitation to all pizza lovers👌. If you are passing through, don't miss this address, you will not be disappointed! 🤩

10/02/2025: Major disappointment. Lovely looking restaurant and nice staff but the food was shocking My partner and I both ordered meatballs for starters. Meat was of poor quality and no flavor to the sauce. I could see the waiter showed no disguising the fact he was insulted when I asked for salt but it needed it to give some flavor. We both got a seafood linguine dish each and it was bland and tasteless. Pasta was undercooked. My dish was supposedly with a garlic tomato sauce and it tasted exactly like a tin of Heinz spaghetti hoops, So much so I genuinely questioned it to myself. I'm no expert and certainly no chef but I cook a far better Italian myself. Bitterly disappointed 😞

15/01/2025: We booked a reservation for La Collina in the Salthill area as we would be on our way back from the ferry terminal in Rossaveal after a day on the Aran Islands. The restaurant seems small only a few tables downstairs but there is seating upstairs. The menu was very nice and home made pasta stole the show. There was so much pasta to choose from and both of our meals were fresh and delicious . This is less than a 10 minute ride from Galway and would absolutely return! Service was great as well!

21/01/2025: We had a group of 16 at a hen party last weekend and we visited Botown for some food and drinks to start off the day. David could not have been more helpful from the get go organising suitable set menus for our tastes and budgets etc and printing these specific menus for our group. This made the bridesmaids jobs super easy and enjoyable as we didn’t have to worry about anything. We all had delicious burgers and ample amounts of bubbles in their lovely private upstairs space for a couple of hours where we played games and had a great laugh🥂 Everyone left fuelled for a day and night of partying in Galway! Thank you David for such a lovely few hours of fun to kick start our bride’s party!

19/01/2025: BóTOWN was the best place in Galway to go for lunch! They were so accommodating for the Hen party we were on ! Gave us our own room and the food was beautiful. Amazing service highly recommend ✨✨✨

11/02/2025: Absolutamente me encanta esta hamburguesa pero caro en el aeropuerto de Dublín fue muy decepcionante. Las virutas eran frías y en su mayoría pequeñas chatarras. Los bollos eran grasientos y muy pequeños. ¿No estás seguro si el pan era su pan habitual? No era mejor que nada de otros puntos de venta de hamburguesas. Realmente decepcionante ya que suelen ser las mejores hamburguesas de la historia.

08/02/2025: Came here last Sunday with a few friends!! The burgers and chips were as good as they always were!!! Great service and atmosphere.

15/02/2025: I learned sö much about their ice cream making!! Met the lovely staff, and enjoyed a most delicious ice cream chocolate chip cookie sandwich! My friends enjoyed the Dingle sea salt ice cream and the honeycomb and butterscotch flavors.
