07/04/2026: Went for dinner and the food was decent, nothing outstanding. To start we got the prawns, croquettes and donuts all were good but a little underwhelming. The main dishes were all delicious. The sea bass and trout en croute were so good, lots of flavor and the vegetables cooked perfectly. Also had a bite of the feather blade and was shocked by how well cooked it was. So flavorful but melts in your mouth. We tried all the desserts across our whole party and the best were by far the Celeriac and the miso caramel. The others were not great but those two are worth it. Drink service was very slow, our starters coming out before the first round. But the overall service was very attentive and friendly. This place is definitely worth it if you order correctly! Also have heard their brunch is the real showstopper so keep that in mind.

10/12/2025: I loved it. Absolutely beautiful and the Christmas decorations were fantastic. I've heard that Ed Sheeran filmed the music video for "Galway Girl" here. I don't know for sure, but I've heard it's a popular meeting place for artists. Whether that's true or not, I really enjoyed it and I recommend it.

15/04/2026: Such good ice cream! We were greeted by a wonderful individual who offered us a taste of anything we would like! Def would recommend if your looking for a little sweet. Flavours were fun and unique

08/04/2026: SO GOOD. I don’t get ice cream very often. The flavors sound a little niche for me, but every one that I tried was the perfect amount of flavor, creamy, and delicious. Irish cream lacked a little flavor but was still delicious, peanut butter, and sea salt were extremely good. I’d be back if we were staying another night in Galway. Staff are laid back, chill, friendly, offer excellent recommendations, and are extremely efficient in getting samples while you’re waiting in line. They aren’t pushy and open to your trying any number of samples. If there is a line, it’s worth the wait!

24/03/2026: The pub's strength lies in its beer selection (several Belgian beers are on the menu). However, the smell and hygiene are not its strong points.

14/04/2026: Dined here on a recent trip to Galway. Rich. Very thoughtfully composed menu, backed up by excellent dishes and fresh ingredients. Incredibly creative and brave. The setting, room with dynamic display walls and lighting all added to the richness of this culinary experience. Courses were exhaustive and consistently excellent. Offerings could benefit from some edits and consolidation. Several sauces and reductions were complex, layered and polished. Moments of foam and froth complimented by texture kept my culinary senses on the edge of the seat. The dinnerware is gorgeous, an extension of Irish craft and culture. The wine pairing was also well worth it. Overall, a rich and wonderful experience that I will remember for a long time. Highly recommended.

30/12/2025: A very, very nice place. Great food. Great atmosphere with fairy lights and plants. The service was very friendly despite the large number of guests. It was really great. I think it would be better to have one more staff member during peak hours or when the city is busier.
