The best restaurants in Galway

16/09/2026: Manager abrupt unhelpful, wouldn't allow umbrella up even though it was raining and we had a dog and already had food when it started to rain. Dog isn't allowed inside at all, which is fine but not allowing an umbrella up so we could eat and drink without get soaked would have been nice. The attitude of the manager upset our visit. Particularly as we had to eat our cake and drink our coffee stood up outside in the rain. Other staff were helpful and apologetic that they couldn't put the umbrella up. The cake and coffee was reasonable but as mentioned by others a bit expensive.

06/09/2026: Would have been higher but for the attitude of who I assume is the cafe manager. I dont know if she was having a bad day but every one knew it from her face and attitude. She was very abrupt and unhelpful..food is very expensive for a cafe but high quality.

11/08/2026: It's ok, but the tables by the windows have never been cleaned I'd say. No rice included in the price..

16/07/2026: I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. When I first placed my order, the girl at the counter was friendly, smiling, and polite. I had a good impression at first. I ordered my food, paid €20, and told her I needed it as takeaway. She said it would take 10–15 minutes, so I said I would come back after 15 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty, with only one customer inside, so it was clearly not a situation where they were overwhelmed. When I came back, my food was already packed in a bag. The bag felt suspiciously light, so I asked if everything was inside. I was told “yes, of course”, however when I opened the bag, the egg fried rice was missing. I politely asked if I could get the missing item. The attitude immediately changed. She did not say anything openly rude, but her facial expression and attitude made it feel like I was somehow causing a problem, instead of simply asking for something I had already paid for. She went to the kitchen, brought out the missing rice, and handed it over in a way that felt like I was receiving a free donation rather than a product I had paid for. I did not make a scene inside the restaurant because I wanted to remain respectful. Before payment, the customer gets smiles and friendly conversation. After payment, it felt like the attitude became: “Why are you still here? What do you want?” A basic mistake can happen anywhere, but the way a customer is treated afterwards shows the real level of service. I paid for my food and expected basic respect. Please feel ashamed of this kind of customer service. I will not be coming back.

09/06/2026: The place has been closed for few weeks now, but the app is still active and taking orders and money. Be careful.

22/05/2026: they are showing that they are opened they took money for my order and I went to go pick up my delivery and they are closed until further notice. I am really dissapointed and I hope i get my money back asap... 22 may 2026

27/07/2026: Generous portions (including on the children's menu) and very good service. The quality of the food varied; average to good, but nothing more. We only ate pub-style food (nachos, pizza, burgers, salads, etc.), so perhaps the more "sophisticated" dishes were better. One of the dishes we ordered was far too salty (Buffalo chicken wings). We didn't finish it, but we mentioned it to the (very kind) waitress, who immediately informed the chef, and they didn't charge us for it. Ultimately, it's a shame because we received excellent customer service, but we won't be returning due to the poor quality of the food.
