01/06/2025: We were disappointed with several aspects of our stay at Slieve Aughty Centre: 1. Lack of professionalism: My girlfriend was hosting a women’s group activity (12 participants) and had specifically requested a curtain for the room used during the sessions. Despite repeated reminders and being assured it would be arranged, nothing was done. As a last-minute solution, a staff member tried to cover the window with a black rain jacket, which was neither appropriate nor professional. 2. Shower Issues: The hot water in our cabin ran out quickly, making it difficult to take a proper shower. 3. Overpriced Dinner: On Saturday evening, we stayed for dinner and were offered lasagna. No menu or price was provided, and we were later charged €70 for two portions, which felt unreasonable. We were not informed of the cost beforehand. 4. Breakfast Miscommunication: Our booking clearly included breakfast, yet the owner tried to charge us for it. Only after we showed the confirmation email was the charge removed. Beautiful surroundings, but the lack of transparency and professionalism made our stay disappointing.

22/02/2025: My daughter attends riding here, it's our favourite Saturday routine. The instructors are amazing, and we love the cafe. We finish the day off with a walk in the woods...stunning!

03/03/2025: The food was pretty ok but there wasn't any seating there and it took me around an hour and a half to get fried rice.

12/09/2024: maybe the worst chefs special dish i’ve ever had. rice smelt peculiar. sweet and sour pork forgot all about the sour bit. nice service tho :)

01/10/2025: Chicken burger dry and over cooked and I was left waiting in the drive through longer than normal. Wouldn't have minded the wait if the food was done right. Won't be eating from there again. Lucky not be sent to the dentist.

19/09/2025: I don't know how this happens. But their chicken is always raw inside. And even several times returning and showing that there is a red uncooked meat inside and is not coming off the bone. Ended only with argue. Young lady trying to convince me that it's okay and this is just the meat that cooks that way. I hope someone will see this comment and do something about.

20/09/2025: I do like the food but our order has been incorrect at least 4 times when we have had delivery. Very disappointed as we wait at least an hour for delivery and then it's wrong. This ruins it for everyone as there's always someone let down

01/01/2025: The food is very good. The poppin chicken is nice, there not to spicy just the right amount. It's in the middle of the town and it's great for travelling because you can call 10,15 minutes in advance and walk in and it's ready. The portions are very big, the small is like a middeum. The food is good value for how much you get and the pizza is nice. Good takeaway

26/12/2024: Pure s...e. I ordered the special burger with extra sauce and onions. Got no sauce, 4 bits of onion and a dried out burger. Do not eat here. Theres a chinese nearby that is much better

12/06/2025: Food always good here. I've only ever got takeaway, but the restaurant could do with some atmosphere. It's the old Dove Bar as far as I remember. Never it it back in them days, but doubt any interior changes since hanging to a restaurant

04/10/2025: Got 3 different meals got all of them wrong. The first one was a kids pancakes, on the menu it said it came with Nutella guess what no Nutella. 2nd thing was a sausage sandwich the sausages were cold. Gave it back and it came with no ketchup. 3rd thing was a sandwich with chicken and other stuff we got the complete wrong sandwich. Overall thus was not worth €30

06/07/2025: Exceptional service and food. The kids were delighted. kids fish fingers were freshly made fish goujons. kids pasta came with proper pasta sauce and parmesan. our server who may have been German was even dancing the kids, great craic. The pork belly and salmon mains were exceptional too and all the bar staff extremely helpful and friendly. my wife has some allergies and they went the extra mile to make it really easy

06/06/2025: Pretty standard fare, nothing great, nothing awful. Their online advertising suggests modern and contemporary food, but really this is a basic set of pizzas and a few more meals, so nothing that ambitious. Pizzas were ok (again nothing flash) as was dessert, and one of our water glasses was very unclean. Settling up at the end took forever, as our server (who had been great until then) didn’t mention paying up at the entrance instead of at the table - we waited 15+ minutes after he brought the bill before we got up and did this ourselves.

10/09/2025: Absolutely shocking Supermacs. Potentially the worsed one in Ireland. The drive-thru.. No salt or condiments given out. Is that a joke and not the first time. They never answer the God damn phone either.

31/07/2025: Good Madras with breast of chicken and king prawns. Breads were oven fresh and way better than rice for soaking up all that sauce.

09/07/2025: Agree with the previous comment. The food was disgusting and unsafe..we ordered chicken biryani..and it was pretty clear, the cook didn't know definition of a biryani..who puts peas and carrots in the biryani. Not only did it taste bad, the chicken was undercooked..I took a bite and immediately spit it. On top of that the manager (hopefully not the owner) seemed like he was unhappy to see a customer.. didn't smile, didn't serve water till we asked..overall a bad ambience, bad service and worst Indian food I have ever had .. please do not waste your time and money
