07/03/2025: Good kebabs, good pizza. There's a friendly, generous staff and they turn around your order quickly. They have good specials and meal deals. They are one of the only take-aways that opens at noon and they offer some good lunch specials.

01/01/2025: The food is very good. The poppin chicken is nice, there not to spicy just the right amount. It's in the middle of the town and it's great for travelling because you can call 10,15 minutes in advance and walk in and it's ready. The portions are very big, the small is like a middeum. The food is good value for how much you get and the pizza is nice. Good takeaway
26/12/2024: Pure s...e. I ordered the special burger with extra sauce and onions. Got no sauce, 4 bits of onion and a dried out burger. Do not eat here. Theres a chinese nearby that is much better

16/08/2025: Took ages to be seated, staff just standing around and not bothered. Got seated at a table which the server had said they would wipe it down straight away - she never did. Had to ask another server to come over and wipe our table. This server had a serious attitude. Disappointing experience.

The kids were delighted. kids fish fingers were freshly made fish goujons. kids pasta came with proper pasta sauce and parmesan. our server who may have been German was even dancing the kids, great craic. The pork belly and salmon mains were exceptional too and all the bar staff extremely helpful and friendly. my wife has some allergies and they went the extra mile to make it really easy
06/06/2025: Pretty standard fare, nothing great, nothing awful. Their online advertising suggests modern and contemporary food, but really this is a basic set of pizzas and a few more meals, so nothing that ambitious.
Pizzas were ok (again nothing flash) as was dessert, and one of our water glasses was very unclean. Settling up at the end took forever, as our server (who had been great until then) didn’t mention paying up at the entrance instead of at the table - we waited 15+ minutes after he brought the bill before we got up and did this ourselves.

23/07/2025: I was sad to see Roots closed down next door so called in to the Cakery. Some neighbours and friends had warned me against visiting due to the owner (who I believe is named Ali) being rude and the place generally unclean. I went to order a coffee and he sniggered at me, shouted across the room to confirm my order and dismissed another customer after me. I told one of our group chats about it afterwards and was scolded for even giving them a potential custom today!! 😂 I really do hope this place is eventually replaced by a local-run family store.

19/08/2025: I got food poisoning i was sick for a week it smells really bad in there i have a feeling the workers rearly shower they were also very rude they told us"this is not a park you have to leave" they said this because we wanted to wait only 5 mins for the bus so guys i would never recomend this place to anyone so guys never come to pizza max is gort!

22/03/2025: Usually love this and the food is great but ordered delivery at 6.30 to be told it would be delivered at 7.15. It's now 7.50 and still no sign. When I called at 7 30 they said it would here in 5 mins. The girl on the phone apologised and it's obviously not her fault but the delivery time on the app is misleading. We order here frequently and the lack of offering anything other than an apology over the phone is very off putting and unfair. She said the food was with the driver at 7.30 so the food will 100% be cold by the time is arrives.
