26/09/2025: Odd place, I ordered a rendang curry and got a bowl of chicken and veg with a McDonnells style curry.

26/08/2025: Very nice place to get lunch or eat a takeaway pizza in the evening. The service from staff was great, all of them very kindly. About the food, one day we got fish and chips and honestly was better than expected, not the same with homemade lemonade and ice tea, completely avoid order these. Another day we ordered few takeaway Pizzas around 9pm when every other place around is not serving food so they saved us.

23/08/2025: Ordered a salad and soup. Very little options for drinks, gin and tonic came in wine glass (couldn’t get much tonic in). Wooden cutlery ?! Food was ok. Perfect location on a lovely day. Seats outside and inside.

27/12/2025: Attended this restaurant Dec 24th this year for lunch with 2 more friends. Restaurant busy with the festive season. We requested table for 3 adults & waiter had one for us. When we went to be seated the table was way too small, I asked if any other one available he said no. We would rather have waited than sit & be squashed. Absolute ridiculous the table was only for 2, one of my friends was over 6ft, everything was just on top of each other on the the table, just a mess. We were given our tea but then no food appeared for at least 15minutes plus later. Tea like tar it was so long in the pot just tasted awful. Food should be served all together. Understand the place was busy surely staff can judge table size better than that & the same with the food. Have eaten many times there and food is lovely. It wasn't a bit comfortable & took the good out of our day. Carol

22/10/2025: Very very sub par coffee and for the price you would expect a lot better. Food is also very overpriced for what you actually get. Yet it remains busy because Oranmore has little to no alternatives and people will continue to go there because parking is easy and mediocre is the standard.

30/12/2025: Why is there a camera hidden over the toilets? Its hidden in a fake smoke detector. How is this allowed?

09/02/2026: we had my 70 . Birthday Meal in Meadow Court Hotel on the 7 . February 2026, Paula i dealed with , very friendly , helpful and reliable, the Meal was excellent , its highly recommended , we wold go again to this nice occasion kind regards Monika Spiess Portumna

08/03/2026: Completely changed from a couple yrs ago!! Serious food, lovely staff, fresh food in good time, no complaints except we are absolutely stuffed. Well worth every penny, the fish and chips is beautiful and im from the south coast of England, best ive had in Ireland in 20 years!! Highly recommend!!!!

01/02/2026: We got a takeaway from martinos last night. He had "fresh cod" and chips , only whatever the fish was it wasn't cod. He couldn't eat it so gave it to the cat, it wouldn't even eat it. I had a philby steak sub, was OK but not great. We both had chips, which although you get loads were repeats and not nice. Waste of €25

06/12/2025: Only ok. Pizza soggy. Chicken wings weren't available so had a piece of chicken, was cooked for hours.

26/11/2025: I attended the drive through... and was dissappointed they didnt complete the order, leaving out sauces which they took payment for.. I was home when i discovered the omission. Its not the first time. Always check your order before driving away.

09/02/2026: Maybe it was a bad day but I asked for a coffee and I was waiting for someone, so I was put into a horrible little dark room, I couldn't even go to the Bathroom without being asked was I ok

22/08/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Avoid this place. The girl at the counter has extremely poor people skills — always rude, never friendly and acts like customers are a nuisance. She gave me the wrong order, blamed me for it, and couldn’t even apologise. She’s been like this since day one and it ruins the whole takeaway. I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

06/02/2026: I've had Chinese food all over Ireland, England and America and this is my favourite Chinese out of everywhere. The House Special curry is the most delicious curry I've ever had (ask for it extra spicy). It's been great for years.

01/02/2026: The spice bag here is absolutely the worst spice bag I’ve ever had! It has no spice at all, 2 pieces of chicken and old soft chips, genuinely the worst thing ive ever had. But for some reason it took them 15 mins to prepare this

04/11/2025: I live in portumna and i used order from supermac’s all the time. All the staffs are good expect one named reba( I guess) . Everytime i called if she picking the call she says no strawberry milkshake( thats my girl wanted the most) . She never say yes but if someone else taking the order there is no problem at all. Its obvious that she gives excuse because she is not ready to make one. Very bad experience from that particular person. All other people are good.

15/10/2025: Had meal there recently, myself, partner and two others. Menu was very limited asked for Thai satay chicken as main course, came out on skewers with sauce only was very disappointing. Complained and said they would get me veg but for me meal was destroyed at that stage.

19/07/2025: When make the chip - is very good. 3/5 stars always ask 'salt & vinegar` Very plush bathroom - better than train station to drop a dogginz in - too close to Lrsa gaf if I am being honest Sure that's grand

26/11/2025: Gala is the best Chinese I've ever been to. It's our go to takeaway and is always fresh and great portions. Service is always 10/10. Couldn't recommend a Chinese highly enough!

21/11/2025: My Just Eat delivery arrived early without notification - doorbell woke up rest of the house. My sweet and sour chicken smell from overburned oil and tasted bitter. Meal binned.
