26/02/2026: Old woman staff member with grey hair working on the 26/02/2026 was extremely rude. Stared at me the entire time I was eating and hovered over me with her cleaning rag as if to say “leave so I can clean” I didn’t feel welcome and she needs to be re trained.

17/12/2025: I had a bad experience with ordering online. I never got a confirmation so I rang to order on the phone and to my surprise I had been charged twice. I rang the restaurant and they couldn't care less that their online system is faulty. The food is just all right anyway so I will no bother again. There are plenty of tasty restaurants in Oranmore.

25/08/2025: Our family had a very memorable stay here. Rooms were very clean with a lot of space. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, right in the middle of scenic places to drive. The best part was the staff who were so friendly and made sure we have a lovely stay. Thank you so much!

19/11/2025: Poppyseed is a wonderful place to spend an hour beside the river with an outdoor seated area overlooking the river and bay. The food is freshly cooked to order with plenty of variety. Coffee is the best I’ve had in any location worldwide!! Seriously, the coffee is a lovely blend. It is the heartbeat of Clarinbridge village. It has a beautiful garden centre practically linked to its back entrance. The staff are just lovely, well trained and very friendly. Go and enjoy. Pat Surlis

04/02/2026: Seen a manager named Dezly I believe he was picking his nose and then serving food I was totally shocked and don’t get me started on his breath.

12/01/2026: Whoever was on the ice creams last Saturday the 10th of January in the loughrea plaza, keep them in the job, i had a Ferrero moozie and it was the best I ever had in my 46 years of life, they did not hold back on the choclate sauce, fair game and well worth the money, in other places I have been youd need a search party for the choclate in the ice cream... please dont give poor review ratings for the workers.. put yourself in their shoes, its one of the hardest jobs dealing with tricky customers, take that into consideration when writing reviews.... rate the system, not the workers....

21/02/2026: I spent for months in the ladies unit and every member of staff was exceptional. One member of staff in particular was Evelyn this woman was a power house and should be running the whole thing. She made me stronger made me believe I was worthy. She was tough but brilliant. Thanks to her I have my life back. The only down side to Cuan mhuire athy is the garden centre and how it is run. The managers (so called) are not adapted to early recovering addicts and it was slave labour. Which I now now I could have run it with my eyes closed. in addiction there must be empathy. No one is above anyone. I’d like to thank every member of staff in the ladies unit.

16/01/2026: I spent 12 weeks in Cuan Mhuire, coming outChristmasweek. I found all the staff brilliant, the counsellors,facilitators, office staff and nurses to be fantastic. They were kind and compassionate. The program was very enlightening. It works if you want it to work. My family friends and myself can't thank you enough. I will be forever grateful for the safe environment and the inspiration I got in cuan mhuire.

01/01/2026: Dined here with a group for dinner. The food was very good and the staff were attentive and friendly. The mixed starter was very well prepared and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. I highly recommend the butter chicken. Will definitely revisit.
