17/10/2025: Only popped in for post funeral food and I must say a beautifully decorated hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the meal, soup, roast beef and dessert were delicious 😋

07/10/2025: I was looking for a small room to hold a 2-day conference. The team at the Newpark Hotel (particularly Pierre) pulled out all the stops and couldn't have been more accommodating. The room was perfect and well laid out. A tasty lunch was provided on both days, catering for all dietary requirements. We were even provided with gluten-free options at our coffee breaks. Thank you very much.

25/08/2025: Our family had a very memorable stay here. Rooms were very clean with a lot of space. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, right in the middle of scenic places to drive. The best part was the staff who were so friendly and made sure we have a lovely stay. Thank you so much!

07/10/2025: Paid €6.60 for a coffee here today. Iced coffee is an extra euro compared to its hot counterpart whilst non dairy milk and a flavour shot added the extra almost 2 euro. Given non dairy milk is the same price in a supermarket to dairy it beggar's belief why the cafe finds it appropriate to add such a markup. The flavour shot is also extortionate given the wholesale cost of a bottle of the stuff. These add ons are cheap shots by the cafe to rob customers and I for one will not be returning here.

20/09/2025: Very poor service,staff don't care about customers. Food was cold few times,I am living across the restaurant and coming for lunch 2-3 times a week,but probably will stop coming there.

11/09/2025: This is the first mosto in Ireland where I felt unwanted. The young man behind the bar seemed quite unpleasant. For every beer we had to push our way through people sitting at the bar. I didn't like it here very much. I was here during my holiday. Everyone around is kinder and nicer. The only nice thing is the burning fireplace. PS: In the end, the lady who replaced me saved it a bit, but you only make a first impression once.

30/05/2025: We stopped for a pint in Gort and struck up a convo with some locals about an ancestral home (with sketchy details) but they knew what we were talking about and even looked up the phone number of an old-timer who could fill in some gaps! What a thrill (and the bar was quite fun, too; the horse-racing was on the telly!)

09/10/2025: I was really disappointed with my recent stay. I wasn’t informed that the gym and leisure centre were closed — facilities that were advertised as part of the hotel and one of the main reasons I chose to stay there. When I raised this with the general manager, he asked for my room number and then claimed the room was under a different name, which was quite strange. He also said that I should have checked before staying if the gym and leisure centre were open — which is unreasonable when you would expect these facilities to be available at a hotel that advertises them. To make things worse, the manager claimed that I was just trying to save money by booking through a booking website instead of directly with the hotel — which is completely unprofessional and none of his business. His attitude throughout the conversation was rude, unhelpful, and very cheeky. Overall, a very unpleasant experience that left a bad impression, and I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

09/10/2025: I had a really bad experience custom service were unpleasant to deal with.the reason i booked a room is to use there facilities no one said anything about swimming or gym been closed trying to sort it out with reception everyone throws the problem at another manager everything they say are all lies in the end they didnt know what to say and said to me there is no refund .diffently wont be staying there again

27/10/2025: The staff and food were both top notch! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and got our food out quickly! The food was also extremely delicious we almost ate here both nights of our stay!

25/05/2025: Hi. I've ordered Singapore fried rice takeaway and I was told that it will take 10ish min.. so I asked for a tea and if I can sit in the place.. I was refused.. not by a staff they were supes polite, but they asked another woman who seem to be in charge.. and she said no.. just to let everyone know.. placd was completely empty..

05/09/2025: Fantastic service - ordered a specific type of cake at short notice after trying several other bakers for my wife’s birthday to bake the cake and the staff were so accommodating and understanding the quality of cake was unbelievable would highly recommend and looking forward to going back again very soon.

11/07/2025: I ordered a Fresh Cream cake for a birthday online based on reviews. It was BY FAR the freshest and most delicious fresh cream cake we have ever had. Hands down we can's wait for the next birthday to try the another of their cakes!

09/10/2024: Very quiet place. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. We had the full Irish breakfast with tea; it was very filling and delicious.

02/08/2025: I stayed for just one night in the rooms on the floor above the pub. The room was small but fully equipped. The atmosphere was clean. The ensuite bathroom had a hot, well-functioning shower. There was a kettle for heating water and making instant coffee or tea. The only downside: there was no hairdryer provided (but I didn't even ask for one...). The pub is very nice, frequented mostly by locals. It has a good selection of whiskeys.

01/07/2025: We didnt have any food so cannot comment. Friendly Staff, extremely clean room and very comfortable bed. Sadly we got a bit of extreme bad luck with the couple staying in WB Yeats Room. shouting, arguing, kicking doors. It was peaceful before they checked in and again before they got home from their night out. Such a Pity.

21/09/2025: food always takes 40-50 mins though i live 7 mins away ish. there’s more than a 50/50 chance the food is ice cold when it arrives. great food quality though but it sucks having to microwave it.
