19/04/2025: A good selection of dishes! The fish chowder (Seafood chowder) is delicious. But I didn’t like the specific chicken legs, it’s sour and spicy. The children’s menu has very tasty pasta, the child recommends everyone to take it))

10/03/2025: If you’re in Portumna, Café Rose is not to be missed! Even though we arrived close to closing, the staff were so welcoming and more than happy to accommodate us. The tuna pasta special, recommended by the lovely team, was delicious, and the coffee cake (made by a local baker) was divine. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We’ll be back. 😊

08/05/2025: We were looking for a restaurant before visiting Portumna Castle. The place seemed closed to us, as there was no one there, but the welcome was friendly. The menu is extensive, but we had chosen a simple but more than sufficient meal for our lunch break.
11/04/2025: Excellent curries and very kind service to let us eat without reservation. Tikka masala was excellent .

18/05/2025: Lovely spot in the sun for food and drink, mussels to start were gorgeous, i had a pizza then pretty standard but enjoyable, my girlfriend didnt enjoy her steak sandwich. 10/10 service particularly the manager, very friendly welcoming and runs a tight ship 👍🏼

11/11/2024: The live music was incredibly good: I've paid for worse concerts and this one was free and with great musicians and singers. The waiter's attention was perfect.
I didn't eat there, just a beer and a couple of soft drinks... But everything looked good, apparently you should eat well.

21/03/2025: Disappointed with their portion sizes. For a place that was once known for being generous, their loaded fries only fill half of the container and their bowls have gotten smaller in size … all while keeping their price at least the same(or maybe increasing, I can’t remember)
From where this place was 2 years ago to now in 2025 it’s going in the wrong direction and hope it improves because it does bang the odd time.
07/03/2025: Delivery was Late and cold and wouldn't answer their phone. Just eat marks it as delivered when it was not.
