27/02/2025: I ordered a half roast pork. I got two measly slivers of pork, mostly fat, three slices of carrot and for green veg was shocked to see a mound of parsley! I should hope a full dinner comes with a floret of broccoli at least. There was an abundance of tasty mashed potato. My daughter's sausages tasted odd. My friends stew was delicious. Crummy eighties music blares, unless there's a football game on the TV. The staff couldn't care less what sort of experience you have. The food was great last Christmas so it was disappointing.

01/04/2025: Got the warm smoked salmon salad and it was hands down the nicest salmon salad iv ever had. My aunt had a spicy chicken wrap and there wasn't a bit of food left between us.

06/03/2025: The coffee is very good here and not too expensive. However the staff are unfortunately quite unfriendly, they don’t chat with customers and I found them to be rude. There are lots of sweet treats available but they are uncovered, left near to the open door and there were flies landing on the cakes and cookies the day I visited.

16/02/2025: I cannot believe I was staying right beside this gem for two days and only discovered it on my last morning. Excellent coffee, delicious gluten free carrot cake (yup, for breakfast) and lovely staff. Five stars Oranmore.

26/03/2025: I visited this Cafe over a year ago and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. Today, I was at a loose end and thought I’d visit for a breakfast. I ordered the full breakfast, it arrived with the bacon cremated, awful chilli beans which were thankfully in their own ramekin, they looked and smelt awful. Only two blocks of butter and NO brown sauce (what cafe has no brown sauce?) One waitress was really pleasant the other wasn’t too friendly. So, sadly, not a good visit and I will not be visiting again anytime soon

09/04/2025: Tuam, is a lovely Town, I love the people there. When I visit Galway, promise myself & a friend for a Coffee & light bite happy & free.. So easy by Burkebus €12 return.. 💛🙏❤️

01/04/2025: Disappointing experience in this new incarnation of West. On arrival was shown to a dark and isolated table down a corridor at the back of the restaurant with zero atmosphere. I can only assume this was to make things easier for the staff to clean up later on. I was easily moved when I asked but confirmed my theory I was there so they could ealy clean as opposed to the restaurant being full. Service was ropey with a very young team of enthusiastic albeit inexperienced girls serving us, didn't see a manager the whole evening. Server spilt wine across the table and never wiped the table, never asked how any of our courses were or when paying the bill. Roast beef was tough. Price was ok to be fair - €48 for two course but all in all, I'd give this place a miss. Shame, as I used to love this hotel. Bar man couldn't get out of the bar fast enough at 10.30pm. Looks like the place has gone downhill with the departure of the old and original MD's departure.

No podía fallarlo incluso si me pagabas, la comida era maravillosa y el servicio era aún mejor! 10 / 10 sin duda volvería a cenar y recomendar a cualquiera cómo ama la comida innegablemente buena! Muchas gracias a Louise y Fergal por el servicio que proporcionaron durante toda la noche!

09/10/2024: Very quiet place. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. We ate the full Irish Breakfast with tea, it was very complete and delicious.
