I ordered a bowl, and my husband initially wanted tacos, but unfortunately they were not available at the time, so he went with a bowl as well.
The food was fresh and tasty, and I really liked that they have an open kitchen where you can see everything being prepared — it adds a lot of trust to the experience. You can also customise your bowl with ingredients you like, which is a great option.
The service was good, and it’s convenient that you can either eat in or take your food to go.
The only small downside is that the portion size felt a bit smaller compared to similar places.
Overall, a good place with fresh food and a pleasant atmosphere.

We had an excellent experience during our stay. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the breakfast was something truly special – exceptional quality and a real highlight of each morning.
The level of service is outstanding. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and professional, and they make you feel genuinely welcome from the very beginning.
The hotel has a great, convenient location, and the live music in the evenings added a lovely atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, a truly great hotel with fantastic food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming vibe. We would gladly stay here again and can highly recommend it to other!

01/04/2026: Amazing food and amazing service. We went there 2 nights in a row 🤩 and it was really good! The butter chicken is really good, and also the size of the starters is pretty good and you get to try different things (like the tandoori chicken -2 big pieces in the picture or the lamb kebab -4 pieces).
Really recommended
01/04/2026: We read a review saying it was the best butter chicken they'd ever had, so we had to go and see for ourselves. It was fantastic. We loved it so much we went back the next day. The service was also very attentive.

05/10/2025: Long day walking the Cliffs of Moher and we were looking for someplace to eat and rest our feet. Gatto Rosso let us do both.
I have an extreme dairy allergy so Italian restaurants are always a challenge. Add to that our server was very new and I ordered a no cheese pizza. Not gonna lie, I was worried. I shouldn't have been. Either the manager or the owner came out and confirmed that I wanted a no cheese pizza and assured me it would be free of any dairy. What I got was one of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life. I ate the whole darn thing because it was so good. SO got pasta and loved it. Oh and the beer was excellent.
We sat outside in the beautiful weather and people watched. When we are back in Galway not in a heat wave I will gladly sit inside.
Great food, great location and exceptional service. Thank you!
26/09/2025: Food was ok the pizza was a bit raw and the prices high even considering the location still a bit to much (Margherita 17.50) Service was ok a bit slow but friendly. All in all acceptable but not really good

02/05/2026: Honestly, this Indian food wasn't really for Indians. It was quite mild and didn't have much flavor. The portion size was also pretty small. The food and service didn't really match the atmosphere of the place either. The service was very slow, and the staff seemed a bit rude.
01/03/2026: The Indian cuisine is simply superb. We visited this town in the off-season, and this was one of the places open after 6:00 PM, and we were right on target. The waiters are super nice. They're helpful and informative. The food is beyond praise. Our souls and cheeks were on fire, in a good way. We were very satisfied. A must-have recommendation.
P.S. The music adds a special charm.
