07/08/2024: Just landed at Shannon airport and came across May’s place in Tuam as a stop for a bite to eat. Absolutely delicious muffins, pastries and I’ve tried my first ‘dirty chai’ - coffee and chai- the combination tastes so good!!! Thank you!!

I went to order a takeaway last night and was told they weren't doing takeaways because restaurant was too busy. That was a JOKE and really needs to be reviewed or business will be lost by loyal customers..

11/11/2024: I stayed here recently with my two kids. The family rooms we're lovely. They were nice and spacious. Although the room was cold and the heating not working in our room we were provided with a plug in heater. I pre ordered treat boxes for the kids to be in the room upon arrival and they were forgotten about but hotel staff did leave them in our room when we arrived back from a swim. The kids had ordered pancakes for breakfast which we're burnt when they got them but was quickly replaced with non burnt pancakes. The swimming pool was lovely and arm bands and floats were provided. Overall, an ok stay.
09/11/2024: My husband & I had a tasty carvery lunch served up by the enthusiastic chef Dean my husband had the delicious honey roasted ham hock while I had gnocchi both food and service from Dean & Charlotte was excellent 👌

They asked for an additional fee, saying they added ingredients that weren't added. They didn't even apologize after confirming. I don't feel very good.
05/10/2024: Came for a burrito and came back for the tacos. Staff are brilliant and it’s proper quality Mexican grub. Best Mexican I’ve had in Dublin 🇲🇽🤝🇮🇪
Music was gas too they were playing Christmas tunes in October and Coldplay instrumentals 🤣 10/10

02/11/2024: We had a fantastic experience at Keogh’s this evening. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding—each dish was delicious! What really stood out was the owner, who went above and beyond to ensure our group had everything we needed. Their personal touch truly made our evening special. I highly recommend Keogh’s and hope to return!

24/03/2024: Had lunch/dinner here 3 times and it's a real taste treat. Quality of ingredients is apparent in the feel good factor afterwards. It's quite affordable even for a working lunch and if you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend treating yourself.

20/08/2024: Love the coffee here and the breakfast bagel with bacon, relish and cream cheese really hits the spot. Cafe hosts some beautiful artwork to ponder if you find yourself enjoying a peaceful solo lunch date.

01/11/2024: The food is great here and not wildly expensive. The view is great overlooking galway Bay. Two of us had beef guinness casserole and plaice respectively and each of us enjoyed it immensely. Staff were very friendly and service was really good. With a pint of guinness zero and glass of house white wine, the bill came in at 49euros.
Not exactly cheap but not overly expensive either. Quality of the food was excellent. We will definitely return to this lovely place.

03/11/2024: Spa, food, staff, decor and cleanliness are amazing but the rooms let it all down. Lighting is very very poor beds are way to soft and pillows have to be the worst iv ever slept on. Overall our experience here was very good. If the rooms got a little tlc this place would get a continuous 5* rating.
31/10/2024: Great hotel very helpful staff, lovely room, dinner in the restaurant was excellent, breakfast was lovely too. Overall very satisfying stay at short notice to attend a funeral. Thank you do much.
