01/01/2026: We were looking for a full Irish pub experience and this bar was a really good choice. Not too crowded but great atmosphere. The only downside was that there was no music in the background, other than that, very cozy and Irish-aesthetic pub!

06/01/2026: absolutely majestically if you ask me we where in for dinner the last night while passing through and I have to say the service was amazing a young man named Rian Coyne was especially good to us. he was very helpful and knew the menu without looking and was very quick to serve our drinks thanks to all the staff and especially Rian Coyne

31/05/2026: Stunning location, beautiful walks surrounding the house. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food at breakfast was beautiful.

11/05/2026: I decided to drop into Glynns for a pint while waiting on friends. Its a lovely bar and a great pint. Thanks to Tina for making me feel so welcome and the Guinness is outstanding one of the nicest pints I ever had. I will be definitely calling in again.

09/04/2026: Lovely atmosphere. Great environment. Nice price and place to drink a Guinness. Located in the heart of Athenry, the pub was opened in 1897 so you can imagine how much history they have... I went in a week day afternoon. I plan to return to see the movement at the night. Recommended!

08/08/2026: False advertising. The pub advertises music starting at 5 PM. Upon arriving at the pub (6 PM), we were told there would be music in about ten minutes. We only learned after ordering that there would be music starting at 9 PM. This is dishonest and disappointing.

04/08/2026: A very pleasant place with the atmosphere of both a bar and a restaurant. The staff is very welcoming, and a special mention goes to the bartender! You'll find local specialties as well as more common dishes. The food is very good; I recommend the stew. So there's something for everyone. Don't hesitate to go.

24/07/2026: Could not find a single fault with Fahertys Bar the service was first class and also the toasties . I will be going back again and recommending Fahertys Bar to everyone 😁😁😁

20/07/2026: Alex is an absolute gentleman. My order was missing a few items, so the next time I went into Supermacs I was genuinely blown away by his generosity making up for the previous error. You really don't see this kind of service anymore. Couldn't recommend the restaurant enough.

22/07/2026: Just ok to be honest. Not a single leaf of lettuce or vegetable available on any breakfast. I've ordered a full breakfast made of eggs and bacon only. I've got one egg and one slice of bacon. It didn't stop them from charging me 12€ for it. No one on this place knew what poached egg is🙃 staff was very friendly in fairness.
