06/06/2026: I have visited Glynns on a number of occasions and have never left dissatisfied. A wonderful local boozer that I would happily call my own. The pub strikes a perfect balance of old school character and modern chic. Plenty screens to watch the game, plenty corners to have a chat and a great pizza place out the back. Bonus points for also having Beamish.

28/07/2026: Visiting from Texas and when I ran across a Tex-Mex take-away, we had to stop! It's amusing to me that a place in Dublin, Ireland can do better Tex-Mex than my previous visits to Ohio and Washington, DC!
The curry flavor in the chilli was a bit unusual and the tomato in the chorizo made it taste a bit like pizza, but overall we really enjoyed this take on our home food!

But they did ask me to move to the lobby.

18/05/2026: The staff here make your stay very special . They are so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the breakfasts have a large range. The smoked salmon, scrambled eggs & capers are delicious.

30/07/2026: We came in 10 pax after a swim in the lake craving warm drinks and food. This place did not let us down; the children loved the hot choc, I loved the flat white, and the sandwiches were fab! Lovely staff, too 😀
11/07/2026: Raspberry & coconut scones are delicious. Plus it's the best pot of tea you will get anywhere in Loughrea!😀

03/06/2026: Had a delicious dinner last night, the vegetarian option was lentil Dahl and was so tasty, it's very rare to get an interesting vegetarian option that contains protein on a menu. The margarita from the new cocktail menu was appreciated and our American friends rated the Mussels, Sea Bass and lamb chops 5 star. Great food great service thank you

The coffee is terrible. It's nothing like any coffee I've ever had. Awful.
The tea is tasteless and has no aroma.
