03/09/2025: Absolutely amazing little gem. We stopped here on our way through and it was absolutely amazing. Very good value for money, amazing cakes, scones and exquisite crepes. The name tells it all, its small and cosy and has loads of character. The coffee was amazing and the service was absolutely top notch. Would 100% recommend to anyone passing through or staying in Athenry.
25/08/2025: We stopped here on the way back home from Westport and I have to say one of the best cafes I have been to. Coffee massively on point it was epic hot chocolate epic and a special request for an iced chocolate was not problem. The crepes were out of this world I had the streaker wife had the nookie and the kids had the ham and cheese all were amazing and the boss lady and locals in the cafe were so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're ever in athenry I know we will be back

Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while — fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The crust was just right, and the toppings were generous without being over the top. What made it even better was the service — the staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. Great food, great people — definitely coming back!

Great Food & Friendly Service!
Popped in for collection and was really impressed. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was ready on time and absolutely delicious — the kebab was juicy and full of flavour, the chips were perfectly cooked, and the pizza was spot on with a crispy base and tasty toppings. Great value and great service — will definitely be back!

Could not commend this place enough on not only their food but the warmth and hospitality from the owners. Well done to everyone in Paddy Burkes. You are playing a blinder. What a gem of a place.
16/09/2025: We went there twice for dinner and drinks. The restaurant is very nice and cozy, with very friendly and attentive staff.
The fish and chips were very good; the roasted Irish beef wasn't my cup of tea, but that's certainly a matter of taste.
We had a couple of lovely evenings there.
Enjoy your visit!

26/09/2025: After one too many toasties I treated myself to a proper dinner and had the chicken dish. It was so delicious. I couldn’t get enough of the sauce that was with it. Amazing.

03/09/2025: We went here for lunch/brunch. It’s a very cosy and tidy pub. The staff were friendly, and the food portions were good size. I really liked my soup, it was rich and flavourful. I highly recommend this place and will probably come back again.

14/10/2025: Stopped in for dinner and the vegetable soup was smooth and well puréed, no chunks, just how I like it. The burger was delicious, though a bit messy and fell apart. Loved that there’s a kids’ activity area, plus a full bar for adults. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere…great find!

Their line of coffee to buy is excellent as well a great supporter of Calendar Coffee Roasters.....BTW one of the top roasters in the country. Really nice snacks as well and a lovely location.....Enjoy
04/07/2025: An absolute gem, 5 min away from Lough Corrib, we got a break from the rain in this welcoming place with great coffee and cakes. Our dog was allowed in too and got a treat!

The pub is very open, bright with a lovely high staircase that lets in loads of light.
We were greeted in a very friendly and professional manner.
A nice menu and well laid out.
The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious and huge portions too!
The Forge has to be the nicest and best experience we have ever had.

21/07/2025: Beautiful hotel! The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was welcoming and very hospitable, and the food at the on-site restaurant was great. It is a bit isolated, but if you're staying for a night or two, it's absolutely perfect.
Plus, many of the rooms have a balcony - a very nice touch!
21/07/2025: Beautiful hotel. Spacious room, lovely setting. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Super clean, even the tv remote was in a plastic protector!! Used the leisure centre which was relaxing. Evening meal was gorgeous. Lovely spacious areas to sit and relax on all floors. Can not fault our stay.

16/09/2025: Located in the middle of Clifden, this is a pleasant and cozy restaurant with very friendly, polite, and professional staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were very well taken care of. After dinner, you can go to the hotel pub without going outside, which has a great atmosphere.
20/08/2025: Very pleasant setting. The service is attentive and very friendly.
I recommend the lamb, which is very good, with all the accompanying dishes at no extra charge.
In short, very good.
