06/03/2024: Great place! Monster deep-filled sandwiches, baked potatoes, salad and soup. Proper loose-leaf tea, fast, friendly service. And dog friendly (for very well-behaved pups).

02/04/2024: Nice gastropub. Menu is not extravagant but has interesting and popular dishes. Staff were polite and friendly. There is parking, but it is somewhat hidden as it is on a side street opposite the pub.

12/03/2024: The pub is lovely. The atmosphere was nice, this was a first visit. The food was delicious, very tasty. We had soup and a wrap. Unfortunately the staff did not represent the place very well. The ladies stood at the bar on their phones for most of our visit and one seemed like my partner was disturbing her while he was wanted to pay but she was chatting.
I would return for dinner to try more of the menu.

The chips are to die for and the southern fried chicken is a family favourite. Perfect for family/friend meet-ups and the employees are so so kind. 🥺❤️
I’m honestly obsessed with this place and wished this holiday lasted forever so I’d be able to have it so many times.✨✨

19/03/2024: Best turkey and ham i ever had. 5 vegatables included , fresly cooked. Wonderful stuffing and mash. A real treat served speedily on hot plates and the price is unbelievable. Quick and friendly serviice.
Desert enormous with lots of fresh fruit.
Only negative was sky news on without sound and sound over from RTE 2.

04/04/2024: We were there in early January for lunch, and both fancied the seafood chowder. We have eaten here on several occasions, especially when our kids were younger, and found things fine.
I said I would allow enough time to settle myself before giving a review.
We are both now almost 60 years of age and have travelled widely, sampling food from all over. Sorry to say that this must be the most unappetising chowder I have ever been served up. A grey, gooey mess that had been reheated (the filmy layer on top is a giveaway). We will be slow to return.
Such a pity for a nice gastropub in such a lovely location.
04/04/2024: Wonderful! Very kind, perfect and welcoming room with breathtaking view. A la carte breakfast I would say was unexpected and very good. Highly recommended.

🏡 The cafe is very nice and cosy. I loved the atmosphere.
👏🏼 Staff were very friendly.
💸 Good prices - around 13€pp.
