26/04/2026: I have eaten in several of the Leonard Group's Restaurants, and I have always found the food and service very good. McHughs however this morning charged me for two Americano's with breakfast when coffee is included. I had expected to pay for one extra... but two coffee's were more than half the cost again of the 14 euro breakfast.. extortionate ! Back to the Arches for breakfast for me... where "coffee" is included.

23/09/2025: Stopped in for lunch. Fantastic fish & chips. Absolutely the best we have had in Ireland so far. Friendly staff. Worth a stop for sure.

05/04/2026: The food was absolutely delicious, truly worth the money, and the puddings are to die for, everything is a 10/10, there's a perfect balanceof everything on a plate, from the food to the sauces to the seasoning, would gladly go here every day of the week. The staff were so kind, polite and very friendly and even gave suggestions which is really helpful. The atmosphere is really nice and cosy, the whole place feels very warm and welcoming.

25/12/2025: Family business with full bar good pub food and good service and shop with everything from hardware building supplies and paint even animal feeds and normal shop for small weekly shop too from fresh to frozen goods

30/09/2025: This place is a good option to stay near Galway, the room is fine, nothing special very simple and require some basic renovation, our stay was pleasant but for what we payed we probably could find something much better and closer to town. The best here is the restaurant and the staff, even if didn't have dinner due it was fully booked the night we stayed, we had breakfast there next day and it was really good. Parking is small but enough, we had to wait for a while to be able to park but is included with no extra cost which is fine.

08/04/2026: Gorgeous food, venue and service. We had brunch this morning and both of our meals were really well seasoned and tasty. I also got two cakes to takeaway. My only criticism is the price of the cakes - they were quite expensive. But otherwise I’ll definitely be back.

23/12/2025: Only found this gem few months ago even though is open few years, quickly became a favourite. Welcoming, beautifully furnished, great food, great service and clean services. What more would you want for.

23/12/2025: Excellent restaurant , staff were very friendly.. Food was delicious and big portions. Very spacious so very comfortable and ideal for groups.

15/05/2026: Went there for lunch. Paul was cheerful as he showed us to our table. My Wife had the home made vegetable soup with freshly baked in house Guinness brown bread. I had the smoked salmon and crabmeat salad... oh how tasty it was. We left there Happy and bells full. The nearby pebble beach was beautiful. We will go back again... soon.

04/05/2026: We absolutely fell in love with this area and this hotel- it is very special and we were thrilled to be able to stay!

08/05/2026: I never expected a pub to have good food, let alone vegan food but apparently an Irish pub is a whole different animal. The bruschetta was phenomenal and the lentil stew was tasty. Could have used rice or a side or bread but overall, good flavor. Considering it’s a pub, it was a total surprise to find anything vegan although they do confuse vegan and vegetarian here…you just have to say no dairy and define dairy. 😆

28/12/2025: Went for dinner here the food was excellent the service was amazing and great value for money, portion size was just right. we will definitely be back again.

26/12/2025: Every time I have eat in Sullivans the food is absolutely wonderful and I mean that 100%,the staff are top class and look after their customers, it is one of the top class hotels in Ireland because they do the one objective perfect the customer is looked after and customer service is great cheers Declan O Shaughnessy Tubber County Galway

11/05/2026: A wonderful discovery where I tasted oysters for the first time. The gratinated oysters... absolutely divine! The seafood platter... marvelous! It's a shame about the paper napkins. With a few more tweaks, it would be worthy of an exceptional establishment. Marie and Fred
