17/07/2026: We came hear on wednesday to the bar/restaurant and choose to sit outside the place was lively as probably for the weather the staff were very nice checked in a good amount of times and were very helpful when choosing food and drinks I had the calamari to start and it was a very good portion if I do say so and then I had the mussels wich I usually never go for the mussels as alot of places have let me down but theese were fresh and the amount of them was amazing me and my husband had a good few each I couldn't recommend this place enough I would 100% come again

10/05/2026: Best Fish & Chips ever. The fish was delicious and cooked perfectly, the batter was crunchy and stayed crunchy even after been in the box (not burnt). The chips were from fresh potatoes. Serves with a little tub of tartar sauce and a chunk of lemon. A good portion so don't be snacking on the way there 🤣 There's a q of cars waiting patiently so you may have a wait. You can ring ahead with your order. The service was perfect and the lady in charge put chat on everyone. Check the opening hrs, not open on Sundays. We discovered this great spot when out for a Sunday drive so returned on a Sat and it was worth the hour drive ❤️ I have recommended to many people since my visit and it's on their list of places to get to this Summer. I'm sure they will enjoy as much as we have.

25/07/2026: The most amazing coffee and baked homemade goods by Alissa in her kitchen. Cafe staffed by her family and friends … the best on the land of Ireland … would recommend the chocolate brownie and actually everthing is so delicious… a big 5 star from me

16/08/2026: Fab wee bar, featured in the film The Field. Just like an old time pub, with wood panelling and open fire. Clean and lovely toilets. Great Guinness. Lovely staff.

07/08/2026: Went for breakfast here yesterday morning with my Daughter ,whose birthday it was . The Staff were so friendly helpful and I rang in morning asking me i bring a Cake and it was presented so so beautifully . Staff Came out singing Happy Birthday ,whole customers started singing for her ,she was in tears so so special x Humanity needs to pour more love into one another . 19/08/2026: You'll hardly believe it, but one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten... and I've been to Italy several times and even bake my own food. The other dishes were also of superb quality. And very good Italian coffee... and all this in the heart of Ireland! Fantastic! We went twice in a row because it was just so good. Highly recommended! ...The place is beautiful and cozy. The service was perfect. 👌

10/08/2026: Very friendly staff, I ate an excellent wild Connemara venison casserole, the meat was more than excellent, shame that the mash was made with margarine instead of butter, such a good dish deserved a buttered mash!

16/07/2026: Great breakfast. The pancakes were delicious and the bacon had real flavor! Generous portions!! We didn't eat anything until evening, haha. Friendly welcome and great staff with kids. Excellent value for money.

15/08/2026: Not the best shepherd’s pie I’ve ever had, but the Guinness was great and the atmosphere was really nice. Definitely a good spot to stop for a pint and enjoy the vibe!

09/08/2026: Went to the restaurant after 8pm it was very busy ,fully booked.... but we got table at the bar , bar stuff was very friendly, helpful. We ordered seafood chowder, and fish and chips, food was very delicious 😋 soup was very rich and refreshing with the home made scone. Fish and chips was nicely cooked and crispy battered, chips was fresh. Amazing dinner... and also got the raspberry apple crumble, with cream and ice-cream 👌 super tasty dessert. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏 🙌 thank you 😊 🙏

21/07/2026: We ordered takeaway but the owners /staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Plenty of options on the menu at fair prices. Overall excellent!

23/06/2026: I was in a cycling group passing by, this restaurant was simply delicious 😋 the service was very friendly. If passing again I'll for sure be ordering the chowder.

02/08/2026: We went on a Saturday night and the music was fantastic! Two young musicians from music school, a flautist and a guitarist/singer, played a mix of popular Irish music and traditional instrumental music. It was really good! And of course, a nice pint of Guinness went perfectly with it!
