07/07/2025: So very disappointed in this restaurant. Was written up as,a fresh seafood restaurant...not so. We had a lovely crab starter. We ordered scampi and got frozen breaded prawns from God knows where!!! We come from co. Down where we enjoy the very freshest of fish....no excuse to serve this up. Not cheap either.

06/07/2025: Possibly the most enjoyable dining experience I’ve had in an Irish restaurant. The setting, the décor, the atmosphere — all 10/10. Every one of the 16 tasting courses was beautifully presented, with flavours and textures that were clearly planned with exceptional care and creativity. It’s honestly hard to pick a favourite, but standout dishes included: The tomato and basil The lamb tartare The lobster The ‘pizza’ The crab If I had to find a tiny fault, it would be the duck dish — personally, I found it a bit too meat-heavy and felt it could have done with either a touch more veg or slightly less duck. That said, I still really enjoyed it. The sommelier helped us choose a delicious bottle of Chablis, and every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and highly professional throughout. I would’ve booked a table years ago if it weren’t for the challenge of finding nearby accommodation. This time, we stayed in a lovely Airbnb just a 10-minute taxi ride away — I’d definitely recommend arranging accommodation when booking your table. Really looking forward to returning before the end of the year.

18/06/2025: I was here with friends on a weekend and the area we sat in was spacious and near the front. For starters, I had the soup of the day (creamy veg) and we were given a mix of white and brown sharing bread. For mains, I had steak with sweet potato chips, onion rings, sauteed onions, mushrooms and pepper sauce. The steak was huge and perfectly cooked. The portion size was huge so I didnt have room for dessert!! The red wine and coffee were also delicious. The staff were attentive and everything was reasonably priced. The staff were obliging when I asked for a candle in my friends dessert for her birthday. I would come here again and recommend to others.

05/04/2025: We went the other day and had the best fish and chips of our lives! The portions were more than generous, the sauce was amazing and the owner was such a kind-hearted woman. An absolute must-visit if you’re in the area!

07/07/2025: We travelled 45 minutes to try out this pub … the pizza was the best I’ve had since The Strand Bar in Sligo! We went here for the music … the band playing lacked lustre but we’ll go back cause it’s a great venue and loved the pizza!
