04/11/2024: Lignum Restaurant provided an incredible experience. I celebrated my birthday there with my spouse, and everything felt so special. I even had the chance to meet Chef Danny, who gave us a glimpse into his kitchen and the passion behind each dish. For my birthday, they surprised me with a specially prepared pistachio cake, a delightful and personal touch that added to the celebration. The entire staff was exceptionally polite and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. And the food was absolutely outstanding, with every bite a true delight. I highly recommend Lignum to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
27/10/2024: 3rd and by far best visit to Lignum October 24. Brian is a fantastic Sommelier and the hosts are just on point. Something different this year about the place - really worth a visit.

03/11/2024: Stopped in on a very quiet Sunday evening. Our server, Julie was incredibly kind and attentive. The food was the best we’ve had in a while (beef stew and lamb curry). I also love at the end of the menu they list the local farms they source the meat & veggies from. Highly recommend stopping in

09/11/2024: A very traditional, cozy bar with an open fire and set in spectacular surroundings. I feel the giant TV screen hanging from the ceiling detracts from the overall ambience but in my experience this is the norm for most Irish bars,
04/11/2024: Really cost and full of characters. I heard the Guinness was great. I was driving so I can't comment on that. Gift shop opposite is really nice as well. Scenery is unreal in the area. Definitely worth seeing.

28/09/2024: Once we got given a table the waitresses were refusing to serve my husband and I. we waited for at least 17minutes and other people coming in way after us were getting served first. Very rude and unprofessional
14/09/2024: Nice little brunch place with all day breakfast. Very reasonable prices and a menu with something for everyone. Lovely brown bread. Only minor issue was that poached eggs were over cooked.

27/08/2024: The rooms very nice but could do w more tea bags for my thirsty mouth. I enjoyed how much Windows it had in the ceiling which was one. It left me a happy camper.
The shower was not warm and I didn't enjoy that very much.
I was upset to see that the beds weren't together but a little push sorted that issue ehehehe.
People in the bar were very nice and smelled deleteable. Good scent.
The shower gell turned me into a marshmallow.
The room smelled delicious and so did

Very excellent, but you have to be a very eater to finish it.
At last we have Taken Bailey coffee for my wife and an Irish coffee for me. Excellent toi.

20/07/2024: Does not look a whole lot from the outside but the food turned out to be worth the risk.
Few locals inside so it obviously passing the return test.
Had the soup which was spectacular, sandwich was delightful, we had to top it with a cake. Glad we did and thanks to the very hospitable lady who served. Thanks.

13/09/2024: Oh .. my .. god!! The pizza is amazing!!! Genuine wood fire oven, cooked right there in front of you. They serve pasta, starters etc too. Most people take their food away but they very kindly have provided a few tables, particularly for tourists who may want to eat in . Located in spidaal , a small village on your way to Aran island ferries in rosaveel , connemara and the west. Very reasonably priced too!
