10/03/2025: Quirky little coffee shop quietly tucked away from the busy town. Coffee is beautiful, and the food is absolutely delicious!! Such a lovely and sweet man, Dave's Deli and coffee shack is Ballina's hidden gem.

24/01/2025: The breakfast spot we stopped at didn't have coffee due to their coffee machine breaking, so we stumbled along this place after our breakfast and I am so glad we did. This is by far the best coffee I have had an Ireland so far and I have been here for 5 days and tried coffee in many different towns/cities. The woman behind the counter was knowledgeable and helped me get a strong tasting coffee. I ordered a white mocha latte and my partner ordered a gingerbread latte. They were both divine. The service was quick and the cost was decent at 4.20 euros each for what seemed like a regular size. The decor outside was funny with all the cute coffee signs and inside the shop was homey feeling. I saw that they also make sandwiches and if I ever stop in this town again I will be sure to try one! If you find yourself in county Mayo definitely stop by this little shop, the coffee alone is worth it.

15/12/2024: The only place with vegetarian options in the island. I would suggest to take extra toppings with vegetarian pizza.

12/09/2024: Very friendly attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I had tomato soup and it was like something out of a can. This was accompanied by 2 tiny bits of dry bread. My friend had a pizza and was not good. Way too overpriced. Toilets were not clean.

03/11/2024: We have been here numerous times over summer months, the best open crab on brown bread with a tasty pomegranate side salad with a creamy glass of Guinness, overlooking Omey Island. Enjoy lunch and a walk afterwards on the beach at low tide.

29/12/2024: Lovely relaxed restaurant.. good staff and food perfect .. presented lovely too.. will definitely be returning .. chicken wings starter was big more like a main and roast beef dinner full of flavour and a Yorkshire pudding is a bonus!

13/12/2024: Called in for lunch today. There was a good few people in restaurant. I was shown a table straight away and given a menu plus the specials of the day. I chose the fish pie special and a pint of orange cordial. Food and drink arrived promptly. The fish pie was out of this world, nice creamy mash with no lumps and plenty of fish in it. There was also serving of veg on the side which were how I like them, not overcooked.This was a good hearty meal served on time by lovely staff. Will definitely be back for more. Congrats to the owners and staff on the running of the Arches.

09/06/2024: Very friendly and efficient staff. Very clean pub with great atmosphere

03/08/2024: We were there for 3 days and it was super fun in The Central Bar, highly recommended to have a beer there in the evening with the local people. We spent the night around the corner at The Old Barracks hotel, which is highly recommended and the breakfast is delicious.

20/03/2025: Went there for a pint with colleagues and the Guinness was great as well as the atmosphere!

06/10/2024: A wonderful place for a weekend outdoor activity. Could easily spend 2-3hrs here! There’s farm yard animals that can be petted and fed, trails to be walked and fairy paths to be explored! For family’s there is outdoors parks & indoor play area- good parking- good cafe ☕️

04/03/2025: Typical pub-restaurant with a nice local menu and reasonable prices. Predominantly seafood products, nicely cooked and with a touch of modernity. Local beers on tap and a nice choice of bottled beers, again local. Beautiful view of the port as a bonus.

22/02/2025: Not great selection for non fish eaters, seafood chowder was very plain & small portion for b8g price. Toasted special was dry & toast burnt, came with no presentation- side salad or few crisps would have made a difference. Staff never asked how food was when paying- but perhaps our body language said it all. Wouldn't be rushing back.
