The best restaurants in Galway

06/07/2025: The service was really poor. The chap didn’t have any manners. Brought us our bill and we hadn’t asked for same. We had planned on having dessert. I must say that the experience was disappointing compared to the last time we were there x maybe the nice couple are on holidays or it’s changed ownership but definitely didn’t feel welcome.

06/07/2025: Ordered a delivery on Sunday 6th of July food was very hot. Delivery didn't take long at all and delivery driver was very pleasant. Food was also nice will order again.

18/05/2025: Lovely place Outside area to eat with plenty of tables and cover from sun. Service was excellent. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was very good.

03/05/2025: Lovely little cafe with nice outdoor seating area. Good menu, food was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

23/07/2025: This place was once a highlight for eating on the way from Donegal to Galway but is in serious need of spending a little bit of money on basic maintenance outside especially to improve its appearance and "kerb appeal" . Food is still quiet good but offering let down by litter outside and signage with letters hanging off.

02/09/2025: Exploring ballinasloe, rambling. Popped in to the bread basket, for lunch. Wow, super friendly, excellent food, reasonably priced, brown bread and cakes amazing, will definitely be back.

06/08/2025: This is a classic Supermac's restaurant that has a varied and tasty menu compared to the big rival that is currently in a trademark dispute with the owners. This particular restaurant in Gort, despite the small size, is clean, serves up the food quickly, and kids especially like it. It's in a great spot in the centre of Gort. Only thing is that according to the website there's no deliveries from here. Other than that, it's an excellent place.

18/07/2025: Had the good fortune to stop in Gort on our way home from Co. Clare. We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful lady. My mam is on a wheelchair and she couldn't be more helpful. Sorry I didn't get here name. The food was fresh and tasty. Ww were served by a young man who was friendly. Highly recommend this place and we will be back again.

05/08/2025: Stopped here with friends on the bikes for coffee ...plenty of room to park and the coffee was absolutely excellent as were the staff..very polite and friendly and they were all quite busy ..well worth going out of your way to stop here ..highly recommend

03/08/2025: Top class food and coffee. Toasties were brilliant value and very tasty. Acai bowls were lovely too and the milkshakes were divine. Highly recommended!

27/08/2025: We stopped by this coffee shop a few times during our trip to Galway and loved it. The coffee, matcha, and pastries were all excellent. Upstairs, there’s a cozy seating area that’s perfect for relaxing, and you can also browse a lovely selection of small gifts and cards. The staff were very friendly and the place has an inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!

15/06/2025: Absolutely life changing experience here. Me and all my handsome henchmen arrived in the morning after a mental sloppy night out. Just looking for a bit of grub to quench our savage hunger. Got looked after with the best hospitality I’ve experienced in recent history. The craic was flying and the vibes in the restaurant were tops. Burgers filled our belly’s and the laughter and joy filled our eyes and ears. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, the manager horses free ice creams out to us. Safe to say it was the BEST DAY EVER! Would strongly recommend you come to this place. And have no worries about the plumbing, as we all put it to the test and it did not falter. If I wasn’t a cheap bastard I would have left a very hefty tip.
