11/07/2025: I ordered a Fresh Cream cake for a birthday online based on reviews. It was BY FAR the freshest and most delicious fresh cream cake we have ever had. Hands down we can's wait for the next birthday to try the another of their cakes!

28/05/2025: Cannot head west without popping in on both ends of our journey. Love the good food and always find a ‘something’ to buy among their gifts. Like this one ! Brown bread amazing and freezes beautifully.

30/06/2025: We ate here on both of our evenings in the beautiful village of Portmagee. Magnificent seafood, I had hake here on one night and John Dory the second - both fantastic. We all ate well and had a visit from the friendly owner making sure all was well. As an aside, we also had breakfast here, again it was excellent. All servers were friendly, helpful and attentive. I could not recommend this restaurant/Balmore highly.

13/06/2025: We spent a week driving around eating at some really great restaurants in Ireland, but this one was one of the absolute best. An amazing surprise, considering the few choices in this town for food. Everything was done with fresh, quality ingredients and with a great attention to detail. Just a great surprise and an amazing lunch. Best brown bread I had in Ireland. The lamb shanks and the stew are highly recommended.

07/09/2025: I couldnt recommend this restaurant highly enough. Food was so fresh and the sauces were definatly homemade. The service was excellent. Cant wait to visit again. 12 out of 10.

25/05/2025: Hi. I've ordered Singapore fried rice takeaway and I was told that it will take 10ish min.. so I asked for a tea and if I can sit in the place.. I was refused.. not by a staff they were supes polite, but they asked another woman who seem to be in charge.. and she said no.. just to let everyone know.. placd was completely empty..

08/06/2025: Brilliant place to stop and eat. I can't go home to Ireland without getting Supermac's. Very busy place and is a one stop shop for lots of essentials. Staff are courteous, helpful, and friendly. Cleanliness is good. Parking can be difficult at times.

17/08/2025: I ordered a cappuccino with cake and the cafe is take away only. They have an outside table for four people. Delicious coffee and excellent service.

05/08/2025: Very disappointing coffee experience- lots of coffee with no soul, only uncomfortable outdoor seating, disinterested, and rather unhelpful servers - throwaway cups, and manufactured sweets. So disappointing for this beautiful historic area, it might as well be a low class Starbucks

11/08/2025: We came here on a group trip and had dinner here 2 nights... Monotonous and bland menu... Breakfast almost non-existent...

05/08/2025: We went to visit for the thermal suite, about an hour's drive from where we live and honestly if the rest of the hotel is anything like this, id stay there in an instant. Quiet, tranquil, big sauna, big steam room, big jacuzzi, large airy light therapy room, dark comfortable therapy room, ice grotto and pressure shower, for the price it's the perfect recovery spot. Bring your partner and just unwind for the afternoon, grab a bite to eat in the restaurant/bar afterwards and enjoy your day. Will be back many times again, this place is wonderful.

The Galway Roast

25/06/2025: Ive ordered coffee onlinee a few times now and the coffee is always fresh and arrives quickly. The 4 x 200g selection box is a reasonable price. Once ordered ground coffee instead of whole bean and the staff were able to send me the whole bean after a quick email.

06/06/2025: Love the bacon and brie bagel, but everything is nice.

30/03/2025: we grabbed some sushi to go, it was great. Fresh products, really tasty. I recommend.

02/03/2025: My family and I ordered take out for dinner and it was ready for pick up in around 20 minutes, the staff are very kind and responded very quickly over the phone. All of the food was really delicious and we put the take out in our own plates at home. We also got 2 little containers of miso soup even though we didn't order any, not sure if it's complimentary, but that was a nice surprise :)) 10/10
