25/12/2024: You come here to drink. Locals and regulars around the bar and are welcoming. Good Irish whiskey and beer are n tap. No food so eat elsewhere.

01/01/2025: An absolutely fantastic hotel in all areas. My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and each time it never fails to impress. Food is amazing, the staff are the best around and the atmosphere there cannot be repeated.

19/01/2025: We stopped in here after driving from Dublin for takeout. Food was delicious and the service was great. LOTS of Gluten Free options, including GF bread and buns.
17/01/2025: We were there for lunch the week before Christmas, lovely food and staff, my basque husband is still talking about the seafood skillet!!

28/11/2024: Clean and modern rooms, good location cos clifsen has lots of eat and drink options plus close to very nice scenery. Station house restaurant has good food and nice ambience.
11/10/2024: Hotel was as you would expect! Ideal. But the staff were incredible! Genuinely friendly and so helpful!! Will certainly be back! Thank you. The food was great too!

30/12/2024: Horrendously overpriced! Had fish pie: 20 euro 95 cents!!! Is this a joke? The pie was an ordinary fish pie, with a small salad. Was in a hurry so paid this outrageous price. If you are prepared to pay these prices you definitely have money to throw away. Lots of other restaurants in Clifden with good food at a more reasonable price.
23/12/2024: Delicious! Great deal for app + entree. Service was a great pace and everything we ate was delicious, the whole family was happy. Larger servings. Must get the oysters when they have them, best we’ve ever had (and we eat a lot of oysters!)

12/11/2024: Called in for dinner on our way through Clifden the food was very good! We had curry and the Shepard's pie. They have a nice enclosed area out the back of the pub to look out at the river too

02/01/2025: We felt very comfortable; The service was very polite, the atmosphere was really nice and cozy and the food was excellent at fair prices. If we are in Connemara again we will definitely head to Clifden and this restaurant.

10/11/2024: We loved every aspect of this place, It's very well run and food is cooked and served with passion and a joy to be there, they made room for us without booking which i appreciated more that i could express.. ❤️ to alL ye!
28/09/2024: The early bird was so good went back for later meal a few days later during stay in clifden.
Happy with starters, mains and dessert .
Fish dishes were great .
Attentive staff and even tried to repair my glasses for me!!

20/08/2024: Love the coffee here and the breakfast bagel with bacon, relish and cream cheese really hits the spot. Cafe hosts some beautiful artwork to ponder if you find yourself enjoying a peaceful solo lunch date.
