29/12/2025: Great menu with some really tasty dishes. Great value on their early bird menu too. Will definitely go again.

23/11/2025: Vendricks Restaurant, as usual, was absolutely superb. The decor inside the restaurant is top-class — very elegant and beautifully designed, and the festive Christmas decorations added a really warm, inviting touch that really enhanced our experience. The menu offers some lovely options, and I ordered the stuffed mushroom with goat’s cheese, which couldn’t have been any nicer. The presentation of the food was just amazing. My brother ordered the beef burger, and he said his meal was also 10/10. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a really good meal in Killarney. You certainly won’t be disappointed, and I definitely hope to return again soon.

11/11/2025: Easily one of the best pubs in the area. The interior doesn’t try to impress with extravagance; instead, it’s honest, warm, and lived-in. What truly sets the place apart is the crowd: people who carry a kind of quiet sincerity that makes a simple evening feel like time well spent.

30/12/2025: Was ignored by staff when we went into their restaurant. Seated ourselves after being ignored after waiting for a few minutes for a table. Think everyone was local and got the impression we weren’t welcome by staff. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring a menu despite 3 staff members being there with a half empty restaurant. Once we finished food (19 euro for a burger with a soggy bun that was straight out of the packet and cold lettuce, raw onion and slice of tomato) we went to the bar to pay the bill. There was a bartender (dark curly hair with facial hair- he was the primary staff member that seemed to completely ignore us when we were just trying to give you some business) who was folding cutlery into napkins who we waited for him to acknowledge us but he didn’t so after an awkward minute of standing there we asked him could we pay the bill he said “I’ll be with you in a second”. He went to give the cutlery to a table and then walked off- his colleague came through by chance and took payment. Very strange atmosphere due to staff. Ate and left promptly.

03/01/2026: Amazing gluten free options! All gluten free fish and chips were cooked in a seperate fryer and staff were super knowledgeable. I ordered the gluten free fish and chips and it was delicious. Would recommend to anyone with celiacs!

29/11/2025: Excellent. We had a fantastic meal. The seafood chowder was incredible, and the cheese and charcuterie board was huge and delicious. A lovely place. I highly recommend it. Very good service.

28/10/2025: Walked in with our son to have a drink and for husband to do whiskey tasting. What an absolutely amazing place! An outstanding amount and variety of scotches/whiskeys. Lots of different beers on tap. Many unique cocktails. Also a gin bar in same place! HIGHLY recommend. Beautifully decorated and stylish atmosphere.

29/12/2025: Rang enquiring for dining in the bar this morning told by female yes dining till 3.30 available . I drove to Bianconi from Killarney after picking up guests from London to dine only to be asked ‘have you a booking?’- I said no but rang & lady said the dining Available till 3.30. She never alerted me to pre Bon she implied yes dining available turn up . It was not professional the way the young girl told me ‘nothing available ‘ & then she turned her back & told 2 other ladies working behind the bar the 4 of us wanted to dine there & they agreed no. Looking found the tables 2 were sitting 4 place tables & other tables were paying ! Why be so unwelcoming ? If it’s all too much to manage they should stay closed . they closed enough of the days as it is or else open more to accommodate visiting guests paying their wages . The lady that answered the phone should have advised me booking was necessary if she was trained in customer services . So not a great place for visitors .

28/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious – every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. We truly enjoyed everything and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: I’ve been coming to this place for over 20 years and I’ve been disappointed at how much the food has declined in recent years but went again today just to give it another go. The veggie options were really poor, I was served what seemed like a frozen burger with frozen chips, and then charge €1 extra for a slice of American cheese. It felt like no care or attention went into the food. The people I was with were equally disappointed (they had non-veggie options). Really disappointing experience compared to what this place used to be.
