09/06/2026: Stopped by Vendricks for dinner and had some great seafood. It's got a relaxed vibe, good service, and the food really hit the spot. Would definitely go back.

14/06/2026: Wonderful classic Irish pub! Was there on a tour and they did a great job with food, beverage and service.

13/06/2026: A fantastic location. My conclusion after a four-week stay in Ireland: the best pub of all. We were there on May 28, 2026, and a trio with guitar, violin, and flute was playing. For me, the concert was the best thing I heard during those four weeks. I'll probably never understand why some people feel the need to sit right next to the musicians to chat during musical performances.

17/06/2026: We had a lovely dinner at Ashes. Fish was fresh & delicious, service was friendly and wine selection was excellent! I would definitely recommend.

17/06/2026: I had the oyrsters with the mignoette sauce. It's was blasphemously good, I can see why she'll fish are in the Bible as a sin, because...god dayum!!!

06/06/2026: Poped in just to have a look. Helen herself was on duty and very attentive. Her young staff were so friendly and to top it of the Guinness was creamy and the crab 🦀 sandwich delicious. Can't wait to go back again soon.

21/04/2026: Had the most amazing food in Doyle’s tonight, we were a table of 3 and went for a selection of the small plates followed by 2 deserts to share. Nothing disappointed, food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and extremely friendly!! Can’t recommend enough, book in advance though as it’s quite busy!

15/06/2026: Dogs aren't allowed in the inside bar but they have a good sized beer garden at the back (accessible from the street behind) which is dog friendly. And if you're solo with dogs - as I was - you can order and pay from your table

14/06/2026: We were absolutely thrilled! The burgers were simply amazing – juicy, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent: very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. To top it all off, we had a dessert that was equally superb and perfectly rounded off our visit. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 😊🍔🍰

02/05/2026: This is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. If I could give 10 stars, I would—both from me and my husband. The food was absolutely delicious (I had the monkfish, and my husband had the fish and chips). But what really brings you back is the team—so friendly and attentive, they make you feel right at home. The whole place is led by a wonderful owner, Jim, and you can feel it in the atmosphere. It has that warm, old-style Irish hospitality that’s hard to find these days. Thank you for such a great experience. Highly recommended!

04/06/2026: Seafood chowder excellent, but fish dish very missable. Could not even finish my main. Tasteless and drowned in fatty batter. Much better option in town!

04/06/2026: We dropped by on a whim, there were no tables available, but the friendly receptionist called us half an hour later, as arranged, to let us know we had a table. The fish and chips were excellent.

06/06/2026: I choose for the lamb korma! Wrong! I assume lamb is expensive and patatos are cheaper. Otherwise good place to be. Soup af the day as good.

30/05/2026: Literally the best place in Ireland by 100 miles so good. We stayed the night here instead of continuing just so we could eat here again tmr

09/06/2026: Had a couple of lovely meals at Mulcahys, after first trying it based on the recommendation of my B&B host. Ordered a started and a couple different small plates on each visit to try some different things, and everything was really amazing; bold and surprising flavours in every dish. The main dining room is classy but welcoming, kind of an old-school steakhouse vibe, with some lovely artwork on display.

09/06/2026: Beef Wellington is something rare these days and it was incredible. The desert menu is focused around their apple tart for 2. The service was ok, a lot of sitting around waiting for my empty plates to be cleared. But the food was delicious.

15/03/2026: Top class selection of Irish whiskey. As good as it gets really. Some very rare casks if you know what you’re looking for. The flights are decent too. Good selection of world whiskeys on offer as well. Clean, nicely decorated and spacious.

15/03/2026: Hosted a hen party crafty workshop here recently and the venue was brilliant, Daniel was most helpful with our set up process, so attentive and positive while serving all of our customers cocktails during the activity, and he even helped us clean up after. Totally unnecessary, we really appreciate it. Will definitely consider this venue again in future.

29/05/2026: Lovely atmosphere in this classic pub with very friendly staff. Only incredibly fresh seafood is on the menu here. Had fantastic hake, and the oysters were too. Afterwards, took the ferry to Valentia Island.
